    Hi Ben/Hannah,

    1. I am trying to add a banner ad script into the sidebar by pasting it onto the visual editor and text widget but it doesn’t work. Not sure if they are even the right place to go. Can you please help?

    2. My primary navigation is not showing up on mobile phones or iPads. Where can I enable this?

    Hello Kadence friends, I have a real simple website, its MainNav menu has only four items. Plenty of room for these four linknames to appear across the top of an iPad Safari window. At present the iPad renders the site with what I would call the Mobile Menu Icon stack thingie. Excellent if this were phone view, but not what I want for visitors using iPads. (I have an iPad but I’m not very accomplished with it — til now I haven’t had to design for its interface.)
    I’ve searched Pinnacle Forum with ‘main navigation menu’ and found at least an issue where Ben mentions the Mobile-Nav-Trigger. But I don’t see through the fog to control that critter. Can I tell the trigger to fire when the screen width is a smaller width, instead of it ‘firing’ when the screen width is 990px big? (Have I triggered that large a jumper spot by my settings for margins, somewhere?) I’d give a link but you’d have to have password etc. Thanks for your help! Sinc, LWW

    I am running Virtue Premium version 2.7.9 and I would like to avoid updating at all costs because I will be launching this site tomorrow. The problem I am experiencing is with the mobile menu, and only in landscape mode. I have tested with an Ipad air, Ipad mini, Nexus 7, and my Droid Maxx phone. All are experiencing the same issue and it doesn’t seem relative to screen size, only the mobile menu itself. And the problem is intermittent/hard to replicate.

    So when I am holding the Ipad in portrait mode, the menu works fine on all pages. The whole page shifts down and the menu drops down into the new space. However on some pages, when I switch to landscape mode with the menu open, everything shifts back to the top of the page and the menu text is now behind the page with no background. To clear up what I mean, the menu text is still there, only the text, but it is behind any text/pictures/etc on the page.

    Now when this happens I can rotate between portrait/landscape with the menu still open and it will look normal/broken as described. So rotating to portrait the menu looks fine again. If I close the menu and reopen it, the same thing happens. If I am in landscape you just see the menu text move up/down behind the page content, and the page content itself stays static.

    Also I dont necissarily have to switch from portrait to landscape with the menu open. There have been many times where I have loaded a fresh page in landscape without ever being in portrait, and the menu still behaves this way. I will be launching the site with this issue, but need to resolve it ASAP.

    By the way I did try this : but didn’t have much luck

    Also tried this :

    I don’t really want to update until I hear back, and would REALLY prefer not to update because I have ironed out all the other problems.

    Wordpress does add it; the situation I was mentioning was when I write the code myself or use my iPad app, PressSync. It’s good to know that the lightbox is looking for that class, so I’ll make sure to add it myself when coding, and I think there is a way to insert it in PressSync. Thank you for all your assistance with these issues.

    I believe I have figured out the problem. It looks like I need the “wp-image-43685” in order to have the lightbox work. While it’s not ideal for me to have to look up the attachment id of an image, it is something I will have to do if I want to work on my iPad. Perhaps it’s something you might be able to make configurable in the theme?

    Updated to 3.0.5 and it works just fine. I’m noticing that if I type a simple img tag like the one below, the lightbox doesn’t work.

    <a href="http://www.kden.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/King-and-I-Auditions.jpg">
    <img src="http://www.kden.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/King-and-I-Auditions-223x300.jpg"
    alt="King-and-I-Auditions" width="223" height="300" /></a>

    Is there a reason why this won’t work? I ask because the iPad app that I use doesn’t create image tags using the WordPress css class tags, and creates links like the one above.

    If I create the link as it is below, the theme adds the data-rel="lightbox" to the href tag.

    <a href="http://www.kden.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/King-and-I-Auditions.jpg">
    <img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-43685"
    src="http://www.kden.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/King-and-I-Auditions-223x300.jpg"
    alt="King-and-I-Auditions" width="223" height="300" /></a>

    What part is needed to trigger the lightbox addition?

    Hello Ben, hello everyone.
    My Pinnalce WP was hacked on may 2nd, content of pages & articles deleted, probably due to a password not strong enought.
    I corrected this, but still have a little problem I don’t understand :
    http://www.elsassbike.fr show up on every browser (IE, Chrome & so on) from PC platform, when you try to access with a mobile device (iphone, ipad) the page does not show up & it redirects to a different content, aliexpress or other commercial site.
    I guess I or someone made a modification in the CSS ?
    can you help ?
    merci beaucoup.

    Hi Hannah,
    Thanks for the really prompt reply- if it was a permissions/space issue- would the icons appear on an iPad ( they show up when viewing the site on a tablet) or would they be invisible on every device?
    Thanks again

    Hi, I have had a good look through the forums and haven’t found anything that quite matches my problem- I have Virtue theme and am developing an ecommerce site with woocommerce and using an iMac ( I don’t know if that has anything to do with it?) The cart, search icons and virtue icons are all missing when I view through any browser (firefox, chrome and safari) on my mac but when I view on an iPad they appear fine- I have deactivated all plugins to check, am in the process of reconstructing and deconstructing the site but cant seem to find the problem- I wondered if you have any ideas? The site url is

    Many Thanks

    I think your missing the purpose of the image menu. They are supposed to be a background image, they are not supposed to have content that you must see. That is supposed to be the text.

    Either way. If you add this css it will look a little better on your ipad.

    .widget_virtue_imgmenu_widget {
        max-width: 300px;
        margin: 0 auto;
    }
    @media (max-width: 780px){
    #pgc-357-1-0, #pgc-357-1-1, #pgc-357-1-2 {
      margin-bottom: 0px;
    }
    .infobanner {
      margin-bottom:0;
    }
    }

    Yeah as you get into mobile the carousel breaks down to show one image otherwise if it stay in the multi image mode the images could easily expand beyond the view of the mobile device. But try this, I’m about to update the theme to 3.0.3 and It should change the settings to not totally breakdown till right after the ipad size.

    Hi:
    My site home page uses an image carousel.
    my settings:
    • Wide site layout (full width)
    • Theme Options > Slider Settings > Home Image Slider > Image carousel
    max height: 380
    max width: 660
    (I use 4 images, they are appr. 500px by 800px)

    The slider looks nice on desktop (showing multi images) and iPad landscape (showing appr. 1.5 images)
    But on iPad portrait, the carousel only display one image at a time with blank left over white space on the right–so don’t look full width.

    I’m thinking to set viewport min-width to 768px to force iPad portrait to display carousel without that blank space.
    Is it possible?

    Thank you so much for your help!

    In experimenting I copied what you did on the demo. Revolution slider, images 2000 px x 800 px, and that seems to get it done. I only want one image, so I made a slider with just one slide. Fills the entire iPad screen now.
    Thanks. Nice theme, a little tricky to figure out… but it works and looks good.

    My Problem: the page title image I am using on the Pinnacle theme home page displays incorrectly – only on the iPad in Landscape mode. (iPad Air running iOS 8.3) On every other device, mobile and landscape, Android, iPhone, desktop. laptop, it is fine. It is fine on the iPad in portrait. I have tried everything I can think of in the Theme Settings CP, including using a different one-image slider for the Mobile home page, but nothing works. Is it something I’m doing, or…
