In reply to: How – Mobile Title sizes for Blog posts
June 14, 2021 at 4:01 am #266393Hi Hannah,
Thanks! Had a great weekend. Hope you had too.
I found more issues regarding mobile. I found that all headlines by default have a too large point size. Especially noticable when having words that are longer. This becomes evident when using Swedish words. Which can be longer than enlgish words.
Another text issue is the text block previews of blog posts on the main “home” page. See attached image for reference. Thiis prinscreen show how it looks on a mobile, using a Row Layout/3 column, with a “Show latest blog posts” in the middle column. This is the default WordPress “Show latest blog posts” and not your Kadence block.
Reference image. Space and blur https://imgur.com/yQgJ47n
Also, I notice the blog posts Featured images becomes blurry. Would you notice that blur with Kadence Latest blog block, too? Or is this possible a WordPress Block issue only?
My client is hesitant to pay for blocks at this time, unfortunately.

June 13, 2021 at 11:47 pm #266391Somehow my developer managed to click a setting somewhere which has made all of the text in the body area of the page Title Case.
I need the text in the title area to be Sentence case.
I went into customizer, and noticed the ability to change the case, however, selecting that does not change the case. Any ideas?I am using Kadence Pro Theme and Kadence Pro Blocks.
In forum: Kadence ThemeJune 13, 2021 at 11:45 pm #266390When searching through this forum, why does it not let me filter by Sub Forum?
I am seeking an answer to a question, and I have to go through 100 pages.
Why doesn’t the author of this forum put a filter so that the search box will only look inside of the relevant sub forum? In forum: Kadence ThemeJune 12, 2021 at 1:32 pm #266384Hi,
Its the header background in the “posts” page. I’m repurposing one of the starter themes. My problem is when I try to set the background colour of the header in the page tagged “posts” (in the WordPress settings), it looks as though it’s being filtered through a blue/grey overlay but I can’t see where this is being applied for the life of me! I’ve looked in the forum and tried some of the suggestions in the post about placing an image, but to no avail. I simply want my header colour to be the same as every other page and I can see that it’s possible in other examples.I’m obviously missing something incredibly basic!

June 11, 2021 at 11:00 pm #266382My website: *Login to see link
I am using the Agency template: *Login to see linkI see that the text where the logo/name of company changes color when the page is at the top and when you scroll down.
I am currently using the all black version of my logo but I would like to use the all white version of my logo when it is at the top of the page because the all black version of my logo is hard to read.
This is how the head looks like looks like at the top of the pageIn forum: Kadence BlocksIn reply to: Align column heights within post carousel
Hi Josh – is there a different solution that adjusts the columns to be the height of the largest column in the carousel? The issue with the solution you provided is that longer titles will cause the height to be larger than 130px and this solution no longer works. I also don’t want to increase the min-height any more because if there are three blocks on the page with a single line title, there’s now a bunch of white space on the bottom of the post due to the min-height.
In forum: Kadence ThemeIn reply to: Footer widgets problem
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Upon checking your home page, you have an Advanced Gallery block before the header and it has a -60px bottom margin. Kindly remove the bottom margin from the block settings so that the footer links will be clickable.
Hope this helps and let us know if we can assist you further.

Hi
I have strange problem. In the footer I have widget with custom HTML <a href="https://link_to _the_page/">Page</a> which is a link to the Privacy Policy page. This link dosnt work on homepage but do work on all the rest.In forum: Kadence BlocksHello! I have a post carousel setup on my homepage. I want all the columns to be the same height without hardcoding a specific column height. I didn’t have any luck finding anything related to this in the settings. Is there some CSS that can accommodate this? I attempted using flexbox although I can’t say I’m very familiar with it. Please see this page for reference.
In forum: Kadence ThemeIn reply to: Tabbed Menu with pro version
Hi Axel,
Thanks for reaching out.
Can you provide a page or a website showing an example of what you want to achieve? And then we can start from there.
In addition to that, you can also refer to our documentation in the knowledgebase regarding the Ultimate Menu of the Kadence Theme’s Pro addon.
Here: https://kadence-theme.com/knowledge-base/pro-addon/how-to-create-a-mega-multicolumn-menu/But please also note that we really can’t have a third level with our mega menu. From what I understood, you want to show the mega menu style on the third level correct? Unfortunately, if you try to create an ultimate menu it doesn’t really have an option to show the custom element you are referring to on the third level menu item.
I hope this helps and have a nice day ahead!
Best regards,
JoshIn forum: Virtue ThemeI’m using siteorigin page builder/widgets with the virtue theme and wprocket.
I keep getting a problem on some page loads the gallery is broken with excessive white space around the images and they end up spread over many rows.
First image shows the spacing where it’s wrong, then on a refresh it loads correctly as shown in second image.
It’s difficult for me to troubleshoot as the gallery auto resizes and corrects itself as soon as I open the inspect in browser. Could you give me some pointers about where to look to fix this.
If it’s a wprocket issue, any clues which scripts/sheets I should exclude>
Thank you

June 9, 2021 at 12:00 pm #266328Hi Ben,
that was quick. I don’t want to take too much of your time.
Yes, similar functionality as a reusable block – except that the content of the block can be edited independently on every page where it is in use but the styling can only be edited in the main instance of the block (block in library). You could also refer to it as a block template. Hope my explanation makes sense.
Best.

June 9, 2021 at 11:37 am #266326Hi Ben,
thank you for your detailed answer. I understand the problem with Gutenberg not adding more breakpoints and I am fine with adding those myself through custom CSS.
As for use cases for blocks stored in a central place/library (not necessarily in the cloud!):
-
1. Design a custom block with the tools available (incl. custom CSS if desired)
2. Add block to library (similar as reusable blocks)
4. Add custom block from library on any page
5. Functionality to only edit content but not the styling of the block used on pages
6. Changes to styling only possible in block in libraryUse cases: You can start with simple headings to more complex block layouts. You reuse them over and over again and just edit the content of the block. Also client editing would become much more streamlined.
Having this kind of functionality would tremendously speed up the development process. It’s a million dollar feature – believe me 🙂
Best.

June 9, 2021 at 9:00 am #266324Designing for more than three breakpoints (desktop, tablet, and mobile) is not currently in the works. I understand this is a desire but I want to be clear with expectations. I don’t see the Gutenberg team implementing this kind of thing and in general, I don’t see this as being something in our plans to hack in.
Regarding the option to have a block that is centrally updated from a cloud, the only way for something like that to work is to ping the cloud every time you load the page which would create a performance issue. Else you can cache the results and update it every 24 hours but even with that, it’s not going to provide the instant connection with the cloud and still require a ping to the cloud to get updates.
Can you provide use cases for this? How would you actually use it?
Ben

In forum: Kadence ThemeIn reply to: Link to Terms & Conditions
Hi Arek,
The link within the privacy policy page is possible because we have the placeholder available for it(https://www.kadenceblocks.com/docs/adding-privacy-policy-link-to-kadence-form/). However, we do not have a placeholder similar to this to show the page title and link for the Terms & Conditions page.
I would suggest logging this as a feature request on this page or make use of the Accept field like what Chris mentioned.
Kind Regards,
KarlaIn forum: Ascend ThemeIn reply to: Featured Image in Categories?
One workaround I’m currently using on some other category pages is to add an image to the beginning of the content section with a css style that hides it there, but that way it gets pulled into any social media posts to that category page as a feature image.
An official “featured image” setting in the backend would be great.
In forum: Ascend ThemeHi,
I’m using the Ascend Pro theme and have been using the header background images on category pages. They work great except for one thing. If I post a link to a category page to a social media platform, it pulls an image from the first post in the category (or first image in the contents) as the thumbnail for the social media post, rather than using the header background image. Is there a way to get it to use the category header background image or a separate custom feature image, rather than pulling the image from the first post or first content image?
Thanks,
-MikeS -
