In reply to: Table of content showing on the post grid
February 14, 2024 at 3:58 pm #287504Hey there,
I viewed your website and found a Posts Block on the Home Page. However, it didn’t show the Table Of Contents on the Posts Grid. Here is a screenshot for reference: https://share.zight.com/OAuNGOR2
Can you try clearing your Website and Browser Cache? Can you also disable any Browser Extensions/Addons you may have enabled and see if the issue persists? Thanks!
I hope this information was helpful to you. Please let us know how we can further help.
Edit: I noticed this was a duplicate. I have responded also on the thread in Kadence Blocks. I believe that is the better category for this topic so I will close this one. You can find and continue this topic using the the open thread here: https://www.kadencewp.com/support-forums/topic/table-of-content-showing-on-the-post-grid-2/

In forum: Kadence ThemeIn my post grid/carousel section with featured images, the image size looks good on desktop but appears small on mobile devices. I’d like to make the featured images larger and square specifically for mobile views. I tried CSS code but doesn’t work for me, this is the blog post, the last section of the page.
Thanks!
In forum: Kadence BlocksIn reply to: ‘Posts Block’ – Order By Menu
Hi there,
Thank you for reaching out.
The Menu Order in the Post Grid or Post Grid/Carousel block does not apply to blog posts.
The Menu Order is assigned by WordPress and is usually used for things like pages because pages have a page attributes section where you can assign order numbers.
Here is how to change the order in which your pages are displayed: https://make.wordpress.org/support/user-manual/pages/page-attributes/#order
I hope this helps clarify things.
Cheers,

In forum: Kadence ThemeHello everyone… I am a long-time customer (since the days before subscriptions) and I do love the new Kadence WP theme (free version) and use it almost exclusively for my own development and for friends that I create for. Let me assure you that I have looked through several posts here in this forum and done a fair amount of searching on the web. There seems to be a lot of random info, but nothing to actually help me with my situation. I see lots of comments about using a real block theme, designing my own archive page, etc. However, I really think this is the best place to get sincere help. So…
I want to modify the “posts page,” the one selected / designated in the reading settings. I am using the “Influencer” theme and I have invested too much time to move on to another one at this point. So, since most all of the pages use a custom Gutenberg design structure, I REALLY want to keep that look and feel on the blog page. See these links to view examples. These are on a development site that I am creating for a friend:
Actual Blog Archive -> *Login to see link
The way I want it to look -> *Login to see linkThe first one shown is the traditional archive page and styled as best I can with the Customizer… but it is missing important design elements. Ok, the second one was created with the “posts grid block” to get the result I want… EXCEPT, there is no pagination… which is my problem.
Can anyone here help me solve this problem without paying for the PRO version of anything, please? Maybe some of you who are wizards in PHP and WordPress coding can help? I have a fair amount of knowledge on these things, but not enough to spend lots of extra hours of research since I am doing this freely for a friend. Maybe there is a way to insert a bit of code with a functions routine? I have looked at the theme files for Kadence WP and this seems to be a non-standard way of creating it. Don’t hate on me if I am wrong -and- I understand that you are giving it away for free and need to have a way to make money. Yet, it seems that the whole free Influencer theme add-on should be able to match the “look and feel” of the blog page to the other pages.
Thanks for reading through this and please give me some direction that I can do on my own with no PRO purchase involved. Blessings to you all.

January 18, 2024 at 7:50 pm #287115Hi Michelle,
Currently, there is no option to change the colors for the pagination of the Posts Grid/Carousel block. The colors mostly depend on the global palette of the theme.
You can adjust the colors by adding a custom CSS in Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS:
/* Current Pagination Page */ .kt-blocks-page-nav .nav-links>.current{ background: #000019; } /* Pagination numbers */ .kt-blocks-page-nav .nav-links>a, .kt-blocks-page-nav .nav-links>span{ background: #000019; }Here’s a screen recording for reference: https://share.getcloudapp.com/7KunyAlz
I would also like to note that there is also a new Query Loop (Adv) block. This will allow you to add a pagination that you can customize.
Here’s a screen recording for reference: https://share.getcloudapp.com/2Nu9rPDW
I hope this helps. If you have further questions, please let us know; we’ll be happy to help.
Best regards,
Teejay.In forum: Kadence BlocksJanuary 18, 2024 at 7:29 pm #287112Hi Jean,
The Post Grid/Carousel block has an option to Display Filter in the Advanced Settings.
However:
- Grid layout is not supported with frontend filters. Will fallback to Masonry.
- The filter is also automatically disabled when pagination is enabled.
Here’s a screen recording for reference: https://share.getcloudapp.com/d5u2e6DE
I hope this helps. If I misunderstood what you’re trying to do or if what I have shown is still not working for you, please let us know, and we’ll be more than happy to help.
Best regards,

January 16, 2024 at 3:43 am #287051I am using the Kadence theme and Kadence Blocks Premium. I am designing a page using the post grid, but when I turn on pagination, it doesn’t provide me with an option to customize the color according to my preference. Could you please guide me on how to change the color of pagination for my website: https://mycapcutapks.com/ ?

January 9, 2024 at 10:15 pm #286996Hi Michelle,
The Posts Grid/Carousel block has a setting that will allow you to set the number of items to display.
Here’s a screen recording for reference: https://share.getcloudapp.com/WnuXKOol
Is this the setting you are looking for?
Please let us know; we’ll be happy to help.

Teejay. In forum: Kadence BlocksIn reply to: Turn advanced query into slider/carousel on mobile?
January 9, 2024 at 6:29 am #286985Hi Christina,
This type of customization requires high level custom coding.
What I can suggest as a workaround is to use advanced query block on desktop and Post Grid/Carousel on mobile.
You can control the visibility of the blocks by putting them in a Row Layout or Section block and configuring the Visibility Settings in the Advanced tab.
You can also submit a feature request here:

Best,
ChitoHey guys, seeking some help here. I’m following this tutorial *Login to see link but the dynamic background image doesn’t work. It uses the same feature image or if I use a custom field, it doesn’t display at all. Does anyone have a solution? Is there a plan to release a queryloop version with carousel features?
In forum: Kadence BlocksTopic: Posts Grid/Carousel
January 5, 2024 at 5:44 pm #286967Hi, I’m using the Posts Grid/Carousel to display posts, but I want to show more than 9. Is there a filter or something that allows me to overwrite that default limitation of the block? What I’m displaying is very lightweight (no images, just a title and excerpt) so I’d like to display at least 20 in the carousel. Thanks!
In forum: Kadence ThemeIn reply to: Post Grid/Carousel and Archive
December 18, 2023 at 7:23 am #286757Hey Gabs,
For the archive pages, do you mean two columns per row on mobile? There’s no built-in setting for this, but we can achieve it using a custom CSS.
Also, is this for blog archive pages? If so, you can use this custom CSS:
@media screen and (max-width: 767px){ .blog #archive-container, .archive.category #archive-container{ grid-template-columns: repeat(2, minmax(0, 1fr)); } }As for the Post Grid/Carousel block, do you mean you want to display only 3 blog posts for mobile view? You can have two Post Grid/Carousel blocks for desktop (with 8 posts) and mobile (with 3 posts), separate them using Row Layout and control the visibility via the Visibility Settings.
Let me know if you need further assistance.

In forum: Kadence ThemeIn forum: Kadence ThemeDecember 13, 2023 at 10:48 pm #286692Cool, thanks Karla! Now I understand what you mean by height. The result is not exactly what I was picturing in terms of “zooming in” on the subject of the picture, but that’s probably not doable and adjusting the height made it look better anyway so that works. It still looks funky on the archive page or in any post grid carousels that include this post, but it looks better on the individual post page itself.
That code will probably come in handy on future posts too, I appreciate your help!
In forum: Kadence BlocksIn reply to: Best way to create a look using Kadence Blocks
December 13, 2023 at 7:47 am #286674Hi Dean,
You can create a featured posts section by using either the Kadence Posts or Post Grid/Carousel block. Block tutorials here:
* https://www.kadencewp.com/help-center/docs/kadence-blocks/posts-block/
* https://www.kadencewp.com/help-center/docs/kadence-blocks/kadence-blocks-post-grid-carousel-block/Other Kadence users create a similar section by manually selecting posts (SELECT POSTS BY: Individually). If you’d like to make it auto-update when there’s a new blog post added, you can choose SELECT POSTS BY: Query then ORDER BY: Newest to Oldest.
If you apply 1 for the Offset Starting Post setting, then the block will display the posts starting from the second newest blog.
Here’s an example: https://share.zight.com/12uQG1dJ
As for the interactive blog post, the code works just fine on my test site — here’s a video for reference:

Best,
Chito -
