hello,

and wanted to transfer it to http://www.imhk-tempsite.com

i got it transferred over okay, but there are a couple of problems..

first, i have that blank space at the top that i dont know how to get rid of..

okay.. so the person i am building the site for wanted something a bit more complicated… he referred me to this site

You can test on one and use on another.

You should contact hostgater and tell them to update there mod-security settings.

Hey,
So have you checked your file permissions? One thing you can do is remove the plugin yourself then install the updated.

You don’t need the cyclone slider. It’s only optional only if you want to use it and we recommend you not activate if your not using. Don’t add any plugin to your site if your not using it.

I would also suggest only every using 1 slider plugin so you can limit what your site has to load.

Hey,
This usually means you have a permissions issue on your site. Most likely in you folder permissions.

You can use check those and it’s also possible if you are using a child theme that your not able to remove the folder while your child theme is installed. In this case activate the parent theme, Then update.

What’s the deal with updating the Cyclone slider? I don’t use it right now but when we updated Virtue, it said the Cyclone slider needed updating …

but, no go. here’s what happened:

Hi,

I would like to add a currency changer in my woocommerce website. I was thinking on getting 3 icons in the center of the topbar (€ $ £) wich people can click on to change the currency.

I found a widget that changes the currency, but I couldn’t find a way to get it clean into the topbar. Any suggestions how I can do this?

Hey,
The whole point of a responsive theme is that it’s built mobile first. all of the code is designed to arrange itself so that it works on mobile, It’s built into every part to make your site mobile friendly. You simply can’t turn it off. To much is set up for a responsive layout, Much more then even css it’s in everything and thats kinda the point.

In terms of your sites ranking and user satisfaction if you don’t support mobile screens then you will have big problems, like no traffic. The point is that a mobile phone user shouldn’t every have to zoom in our out to read all the text and click any link/button.
If you don’t think you need this then just take a moment to consider what a non-mobile site does to your google ranking not to mention that research shows mobile users don’t use sites where they have to zoom in and out.

As for having control, you have all the control. The point is that you focus on building for mobile then bringing that up for desktop. You add your content with the purpose that it’s supposed to support all screen sizes not one. It changes how to add content to your site.

If there is something specific that your having trouble with I would be more then happy to help you set it up in a way that works good for mobile and desktop. If there is something you wish to change on mobile that still allows for no zoom then I would be happy to help you with that just post a link and let me know specifics.

I understand that you might not find it worth all of that to focus on mobile but it takes up nearly half of online traffic. It is really really important.

With all that being said, you admitted to not knowing what a responsive site was and so I’m happy to offer you a refund since it’s not an option to make a responsive theme not responsive. If you would like to do this just send me an email with your order number.

Are you aware of IOS and fixed positioning background issues. ISO doesn’t really support it so it will look strange.

A screenshot would be helpful. But I can see an issue on IOS7. Because this is on IOS7 I will need a temp admin login to your site to do some more testing. From what I see I think the issue lies in your code but for me to really test it I need to run some display:none on your content to narrow down what is causing the effects.
You can use Set as private reply.

I can say that you should make the row style margin:0 since you’ve remove the padding from the container. The negative margin that is on row would make it push off screen.

Hmm … I guess its high time I checked the revolution slider… Will try out the option and get back to you..
Also, was wondering, if I have virtue premium installed on two websites, can I use revolution slider on both? …or I guess I have to buy an extra license for the second site…?
I was looking to test it on one website, but use it only on the other site. I have a hostgator account and cannot preview the revolution slider because of security issues. ….It shows an error when previewed.
Is there any way I can do that …without buying another licence?

When updating the theme from 1.5.1 to 1.5.2 using standard WP method, integrated in WP backend, the theme folder ends empty, and WP says something like “Unable to delete old theme version”. This makes the website not usable at all. It is a major error.

Thank you for your reply.

They don’t stick in the right column. I mean when I try to move them they begin to move but when I leave them in the “enabled” column they automatically come back to the “disabled” column !
My site is 321fleurs.com. But you will not see anything as it is a new one I try to build.
