July 1, 2015 at 12:43 pm #47649Hey,
1. can you post a link to your site?2. The link you posted to above with your example of what you want. It shows that the items drop to one column on mobile. It’s standard for mobile to be easily browsable with columns moving to rows. Are you requesting that your columns always stay on mobile?

In forum: Virtue ThemeHi, just wondering how I can play around with the layout of the contact page. Every time I use this template, it gives me the same layout which looks like two columns with the content copy in the first column with the map underneath (if I choose the option to show it), and the contact form in the right column. I would like to know how to change the layout of this page, such as you show here:
Thanks,In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Help with images in a row
Hi Andrea,
I assume you are using page builder, correct? Try creating a single column row and adding a visual editor widget. Then from the visual editor widget click Add Media then Create Gallery. Add your 5 images and set the number of columns to 5. Does this work for you?Hannah
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeHello,
I created a new page “Ihre Ansprechpartner” (Team) Link: *Login to see link
Ihre Ansprechpartner
Logistik & Verwaltung
[staff_posts orderby="menu_order" columns="4" cat="logistik" ratio="square" limit_content="true" link="false" masonry="true"][...]
It works fine and I see all team members in the categorys! Each team member has there own e-mail adress.
PROBLEM: The link “E-Mail” doesn’t work. What can I do? I don´t like to activate link=”ture”.
Could I change at example the “Linkedin Link Icon” and replace a new “E-Mail Icon”? If so, please tell me how?
Thank you!

June 29, 2015 at 1:39 am #47304Hey Andrea,
So set one is to make the home page your post page in the settings reading.
Once you have that done go to theme options > home layout and make sure “page content” is enabled.
Finally go to theme options > home layout and scroll to the bottom of the page. There is an option to set the post layout for the home page it’s its the posts page. There you can use grid and select two columns.

June 29, 2015 at 1:27 am #47300Hey Nancy,
What are you wanting in these extra shop pages? Meaning since you have one page that is just the archive with your products what are you wanting in these next pages? For example are you wanting to just show products in a certain category? Or if you just want to show all your recent products?
Here are a list of shortcodes you can look at for adding product grids to other pages then the shop page and all your category pages.
http://docs.woothemes.com/document/woocommerce-shortcodes/
Something like
[recent_products per_page="12" columns="4"]would create a page like the shop page.To be clear woocommerce is only set up for one shop page. But if you can tell me what your wanting in the other pages then I bet I can help you get that grid of products to show.

In forum: Virtue ThemeHi there, i’m an absolute beginner and i’m trying the whole day to configure my new two-columns blog-page to be my first page of my website, but I can not make it. In best case, the coulmns are shown on the blog page but never never on the first page “Startseite”. I think it’s a setting thing, what I have to do??? Sorry for the (maybe) stupid question, but i disapear… 🙁
In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Smaller space between rows
Look at *Login to see link
I need smaller space between the two four columns rows at the bottom of the page. Bottom Margin and Padding Bottom is set to 0px for the row layout. It’s still too much space between the two rows. How can I make it smaller ?
Thanks in advice.
Regards

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeTopic: Portfolio Carousel
Hi,
I am trying to create a portfolio carousel on my home page but the template options are too restricted . In the example *Login to see link the carousel has problem with the image size, and is defined for a minimum of 2 columns while we are looking for only one.
The idea would be to have a template quite similar to the photogrid carousel found in your demo : *Login to see link only with a portfolio and if possible over only one column (One portfolio at the time). Is this possible and how ?
Thank you.Simon

June 26, 2015 at 12:27 pm #470821. (ignoring stickies) – why are you using stickies then?
2. There isn’t the space to add posts in two columns with a sidebar where the image is beside the post. It will look odd. But since you adding a one column post then you would use this shortcode:
[kad_blog items="3" cat="photos"]3. Post a login to your site I’ll take a look at your pagebuilder issue.

Thanks for all the help, Ben. What I’m trying to accomplish is 2 columns of posts. I have 4 post categories. I’d like to show 2-3 of each, and have 2 categories in each column (ignoring stickies). Shortcodes or the post loop enabled me to pull from only one of the categories at a time, which was idea. However, the layout then became the issue as I wanted them horizontal not stacked. Hope that’s making sense.
Additionally, I deactivated all plugins and I still don’t get the text or visual tabs. Any other thoughts? Do I need to reinstall the theme?

June 26, 2015 at 11:55 am #470761. If you are using a sidebar and you want two columns of posts then you would need to use the blog grid and make sure you have set the post summary to portrait.
2. “ignore sticky” isn’t part of the shortcode but you can offset using offset=”1″
Your image looks like your page isn’t fully loading. have you tried deactivating plugins. Also to be clear when using pagebuilder you have to stay in the pagebuilder tab while working on the page. You don’t switch back unless you plan to no longer use pagebuilder.
