    Hey,

I’m seeing this. Have you tested your plugins? If you haven’t already, try going through all of your active plugins and deactivate them one by one. clear your cache after deactivating each plugin. Let me know if the extra scroll bar disappears when a certain plugin is OFF.

    Hey,

I’m seeing the CSS take effect. Did you clear your cache after adding the CSS?

Here you’ll find CSS for the link:

cleared the cache, logged out, and closed all programs and it still happens.

Can’t be my computer, have a computer for photo/video editing, so this should not be a problem.

Well, think I have to delete all the animations to check if the lag still occurs.

Will let you know if that works.

I’m also using Chrome. Have you cleared your cache? Is it happening everytime the page is reloaded?

    Hi guys,

I’ve installed AMP and deactivated the Post Head Feature and the Tags at AMP Single Post section.

However, I don’t see any changes when using a mobile device. Post Head Feature and Tags are still shown.

I’ve emptied the cache (caching plugin and server) and used the incognito-version of my browser.

    Any ideas?

You seem to also be using Autoptimize.. Which doesn’t hte same things as w3 total cache. I’m going to guess that is your issue right out the gate but I need to url to test. Either way do you really like Autoptimize and want it over w3 total to control your minify scripts?

Sent login info and I will turn off W3 total cache

    #186846

You should turn off w3 total cache while you set this up.

Try clearing your cache. I’m not seeing the space above the logo in chrome now.

    Hello all,

I have been trying to setup a CDN through KeyCDN to make my website ( faster.

Everything is going well until I have to enter my CDN url into a plugin such as W3 Total Cache. When I add my CDN url it causes my Virtue Theme to not work. When I remove the CDN url from the plugin, then the virtue theme works as normal.

Do you have any idea what is going on? My hosting support told me it might have to do with me using a child theme but I am not sure.

    Hey,
I’m seeing them centered. Have you tried clearing your cache? What browser are you using?

** There are X# JavaScript files served from (domain name). They should be combined into as few files as possible.

If you want you can use a plugin to make all your scripts one file This doesn’t always lead to a faster site. It comes done to which plugin your using for minifying and what settings they have as options.

But in general, leaving on auto is w3 total cache is going to get you a great result with the best compatibility. And you always want to focus on load time, not the score.

If you wanted you can manually set up your minify and use one file in w3 total cache but you really need to test everything for compatibility.

** Remove Query Strings from static resources

I suggest ignoring this because the query strings don’t change if hte files are the same so browser cache will cache those scripts and that is what you want. The benefit is that when you update those scripts (theme or plugin update) then the query will change telling the browser to recache and that will prevent broken pages. So you want to cache but you don’t want to be out of control so that customers are seeing your site and it’s broken because their browser cache is loading old scripts. Query strings are good as long as they are based on the version of the script which they are.

    Does that make sense?

I just happened upon this thread and it’s something I’ve been wanting to do, so I tried it but nothing happened.

I went to Theme Options> Advanced Styling, Body Background and loaded an image. I also tried just changing the color but neither worked. I cleared my cache too.

    Thanks.

    Hi:
I am a bit confused with respect to speeding up performance of web sites.

I have several sites using Virtue Bold and after running the test on Pingdom, I seem to consistently get the following recommendations:

** There are X# JavaScript files served from (domain name). They should be combined into as few files as possible.

** Remove Query Strings from static resources … Resources with a “?” in the URL are not cached by some proxy caching servers. Remove the query string and encode the parameters into the URL for the following resources:

Searching the support forums I see some discussion about “Remove Query Strings” and I think Ben has said to basically forget about this as the information/data must stay where it is. Do I have this right?

If this is correct, then are these types of messages a form of false-positive?

Any suggestions you folks may have to speed up sites (other than image size) is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Jim

Yes it was the cache. Thanks!

On the website I am building, I have a page with two rows of 4 SiteOrigin Editors each with icon-box shortcode with the same background, color, hcolor, hbackground settings – color=”#000000″ background=”#ffffff” hcolor=”#000000″ hbackground=”#ffffff”. No links. The rows have a background color of #FFF.

Then on the same page, lower down, I have a second one row setup with 6 Site Origin Editors with icon-box shortcode (2 rows of editors in the same row) with different settings – color=”#ffffff” background=”#2d5c88″ hcolor=”#57c1e6″. Live Links. The row has a background color of #2d5c88.

The page looks okay. Then sometimes, randomly, in any browser, a random site editor from the first group, has the background color #2d5c88 and shows the link to a: hover color when there should be none.

I don’t know what is going on. Cleared the caches. Made the background cell and row the appropriate colors to no avail.

    Just randomly happens.

I meant your cache on your site via plugin.

You can post a login here. Just mark as private and then only Kadence Themes will see it.

    Hey,

Did you clear your site’s cache after making the change? If not, be sure to do that and let me know if you see the correct sized text after.
