October 26, 2017 at 11:20 am #165341I’m trying to figure out all your open requests.
For the sake of being really clear let’s just focus on this post: https://www.theinspirationcloud.com/mooning/
There is a bottom carousel and in all my testing it’s the same height. Can you make sure to clear the cache on your andriod? and then post a screen shot with it?

In forum: Reply To:Thanks, I’ve added the last script back in. I understand there’s nothing in the code that should be creating the issue, but the issue is there nonetheless. We’ll just have to see how the UX goes.
We’ve contacted the hosting provider but they’re slow to respond. The client for this site has a third party consulting firm (Ad agency) that wants to run ads and they’re telling the client that this has to be corrected before they can / will run their ads, so we’re trying to get a fix / work around done ASAP.
I’ve been trying to deal with the page load times in the meantime. Here’s a list of what I’ve done, please feel free to suggest anything else that may reduce load time:
- Deleted unnecessary / unused plugins
- Enabled GZip compression in .htaccess file (server side)
- Installed and enabled WP-Super Cache (WP dashboard)
- Minified HTML, CSS, and JS files
- Bulk re-optimized all photos and resized some individual larger photos
- Turned on Endurance caching (server side)
- Activated Compress Content delivery from OCO (hosting server)
Thanks,

In forum: Reply To:October 25, 2017 at 5:57 pm #165173Hey,
What products is it not working on? Please link to them. This wouldn’t have any issue running while W3 Total Cache is running.
Have you tried using a different browser?
Ben
In forum: Reply To:Thanks, I was editing the file on the server with Filezilla and re-uploading each time.
I’ve pulled the js file off the server and added the code directly in the footer using the header and footer scripts in the theme options.
It seems to be working, but only on certain products and not on others. I’ve cleared browser cache and server cache, is it possibly due to propagation? It’s just weird how it works on some products the second time you try to add to cart but not on others.
Am I correct to assume that if we turn on W3 Total Cache again that this won’t work properly?
Thanks very much for your help.
In forum: Reply To:October 25, 2017 at 5:28 pm #165166If you are loading in a js file (which I wouldn’t recommend for a script that small) then are you making sure to update the version number when you make a change else it would get cached by your browser.
Also if you’re going to load in a file make sure to load in the footer.
By the way, I just tested on your site and didn’t get the issue you are saying is happening.
BenIn forum: Reply To:The code is by itself in a javascript file in a wordpress child theme.
wp-content/themes/virtue_premium_child/js/ja-script.jsWe’re using W3 Total Cache, I thought it might be that, but I turned it off and the button is still not resetting after the page reloads.
The entire code in the
ja-script.jsfile is in the JS Fiddle. In forum: Reply To:Hi Hannah,
Yes browser cache has been completely cleared but the alternative logo won’t display.
Firefox version 56.0 (64 bit)Kevin, I tried your CSS and this fixed the issue with the alternative logo not appearing on mobiles but Firefox browser won’t show the alternative logo in any view. I’ve been told Explorer is the same but don’t have version number. Firefox version above and up to date.
Safari and Chrome work exactly as needed.
Thank you again

October 23, 2017 at 11:11 am #164776I’m not sure Kevin new your correct link because here is my test of your site:
https://tools.pingdom.com/#!/Nv16e/https://tomsfoolerychainmailejewelry.com/
And your load time is really not great for the size of the page. Your plugin “woocommerce-pimpmywoo” seems to be adding a lot to the load time. Loosk like the css output isn’t being cached. It also doesn’t seem to be doing much for you. Certainly something I would be looking to remove.

Ok, I think I broke something. 🙁
I realized that i had refreshed cache in Chrome, but not in the WP settings. I did that, and the formatting issues disappeared.
I reactivated my plugins, but now, ALL formatting is gone! All my pages are in disarray. Is there something Virtue related that I haven’t reactivated? Is there something else I need to clear?
Appreciate help!

In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Vary: Accept-Encoding
I am trying to improve my speed got my cdn working and did a couple different tweaks of the Vary: Accept-Encoding
I did a search and read a little on it. I did put the code in my htaccess file. Score improved a bit but I have one that is specific to the Virtue theme that possible you can help out on. This is what showed up in Gtmetrix
The following publicly cacheable, compressible resources should have a “Vary: Accept-Encoding” header:
