    Hi Leif,
Do you mean on your homepage? I’m seeing three slides show correctly. Have you tried clearing your cache?

    Hey Daniel,
Try clearing your cache in the super cache settings, then deactivate it. Let me know if that gives you any problems.
As for caching plugins, we recommend WP Rocket if you’re willing to pay, or else W3 Total Cache.

As I lost the content of the home page I put a backup to retrieve it … now the content of the home page is again good. Now I have to cleanly uninstall wp super cache, because delete alone it makes breaking the site.

I lost the content of my home page when I removed wp super cache, instead there are blog posts? I did not know that the wp super cache it breaks the site, so it is bad?

I have ran a site load time and have scored poorly, it loads really slow. I followed the instrctions given here regarding my product photos. I made them 1600×1600 and shrank them using compress jpeg. I also have used a cache plugin. Does anyone have any reason my site loads so slow.

I’ve spoke to the hosts who say: The issue seems with your theme “virtue_premium” and the current php version is compatible with your theme files/codes so please get in touch with your developer to solve this issue.

PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_product_search_form() in /home/vintagev/public_html/wp-content/themes/virtue_premium/lib/custom.php on line 918

Since then I’ve removed and added virtue premium (leaving child theme active) and renamed total cache files so I can get admin access. The front end of the site is just broken now.

    Help me please!

    Hi Ben

I cleared my browser history/cache and refreshed and it popped up, thanks.
When I added it to the site – I got this message “Invalid Instance ID.”

But I see the site has been attached to the API key in my account
Tried a a few times but still get the Invalid Instance ID. message.

    Any ideas?

The pencil icon should only appear when you haven’t assigned a featured image for the portfolio item. Did you clear your site’s cache after adding the featured image?

The Category Grid only shows your portfolio types. When you click the type, it opens up another portfolio page that displays all posts within a certain type. See here:

Sounds like a caching issue. Are you using a caching plugin? I would recommend WP Rocket if you’re willing to pay, or else W3 Total Cache.

    Hi,
I just viewed from an Iphone7 and I’m not seeing this. Have you cleared your mobile cache? What browser are you using?

I’m using the carousel short code for blog posts on the bottom of the page at but we would like to have just the image and headline showing, no post content excerpt or post date stamp.

Any suggestions on how to achieve this?

In the short code, I tried adding word_count=0 but that did not change anything.

    Thank you.

Oh shoot, Kevin, it came back.

So we restarted the phone that we are having this issue on, thinking that will clear the cache. The site logo came up fine. Then later bringing up the site a different time, it is stretched again. Every time we ‘clear the cache’ it is back to normal, but then does the stretch of the logo on future loads of the site.

Do you think this is a select user issue or phone setting? We were able to replicate it on another phone. But then another iPhone it appeared fine.

    Hello Ivan,

    1. Are you using WooExtras Advanced reviews? If so, go to WooExtras> Advanced reviews, and scroll to the bottom to find “Convert previous reviews to Advanced Reviews.” try hitting the convert button and let me know if your old reviews reappear.

    2. I’m not sure why the review number is gone. I’ve tried to replicate on my site and cannot. Have you tested plugins and cleared your cache?

Hi Kevin, thank you for your advice. I’ve deactivated each plugin one at a time with no luck. Root Relative URLs cannot be deactivated, unfortunately, and the webhost at CloudSites includes it as a default with the latest version of WordPress, so I am at a standstill on that attempt. I do have another issue I noticed in trying to find a solution, and I wonder if it is related to my issue with Kadence Slider. Under Kadence Slider Fonts, I have a message “FORCED DEV MODE OFF ENABLED” and it directs me to contact the author of the theme/plugin. I have cleared my cache and restarted my computer. Can you take a look? And any advice you may have related to my original issue would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello Sylvie,

I’m seeing an image (same as other pages) appear as your content background. I suggest you try clearing your cache to see if the image appears then.

    Hi David,
It sounds like a caching issue to me. Are you currently using a caching plugin? We recommend WP Rocket or W3 Total Cache.

    Hi Jason,
I just viewed from an Iphone7 without any issue. Have you cleared all your cache? What browser are you using?
