    1. I’m not seeing the code in your css. Did you place it into theme options> advanced Settings and clear your cache after saving?

    2. I do see it now. I had thought you said it did not work in your original post. Do you have a specific issue with how the image menu item is displaying?

    Hi Hannah and Ben,

    Thanks for your feedback. I’ve checked the site in Firefox and you’re right, there’s no more blurring. I still notice it in Chrome but I’m having other issues clearing the cache so it may simply be that the cache hasn’t cleared properly.

    I’ll mark this as resolved. Thanks again for your help.

    #123959

    ok, still can’t recreate. Really makes me think this is a local issue either with your browser or caching.

    Try using a different browser, and try clearing your browser cache.

    If that doesn’t work try temporarily deactivating each of your plugins and trying.

    I’m not seeing it blurring. What browser are you using? Have you tried clearing your cache?

    Ok I cleared and turned off caching, then deactivated the plugin.
    After clear cache on my browsers I see the Farsi version the way it should be (for now!), but English is again full of Farsi content…
    On mobile is the same, Farsi OK and English not OK.

    Hey,
    Did you edit inside the wordpress admin? If you did then there is no going back and removing what you added. As soon as you added that wrong code and saved your site crashed. Going back only showed you a cached version of the page, you can’t then remove the code becuase your site is crashed and therefor the admin won’t work along with your admin editor.

    So good thing to know for the future you should never edit code inside the wp admin because of this.

    But what you need to do now it access your files through your cpanel on the server. Once you login to your servers cpanel you can go to “web files” and navigate to your site folder, then the wp-content/themes/virtue_premium folder. There you can edit the funcitons.php file and remove that code that you added.

    Hope that helps and clarifies.

    I did not touch cache or anything else so you can see exactly what I see now.

    Hey,
    That isn’t how caching works. And by you not touching the cache that is an issue. May not be the issue but you must clear the caching and turn it off. all of it off. If your logged in your cache would be different then what I see, And if you access from one area and I access from another we still might be seeing different versions of the cache.

    Would you please turn off and clear the cache? Then once we can see the site without caching problem solving would be much easier. Not to mention I still think from your screen shots that this is a caching issue.

    Not working Ben, 1/5th of the image shows at top. I deleted wp super caches, can’t seem to get it to go.

    .page-id-3136 .contentclass {
    background: url(‘https://hellebarr.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Retreat_page_background.jpg’) no-repeat center center;
    background-size: cover;
    }

    OK Ben I just created 4 screenshots so you can see what I mean.
    I did not touch cache or anything else so you can see exactly what I see now.
    All these images are from my monitor screen not mobile.

    1- Farsi corrupted
    https://www.omidbookstoreonline.se/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Fa-book.png

    2- Farsi OK
    https://www.omidbookstoreonline.se/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Fa-correct.png

    3- English corrupted
    https://www.omidbookstoreonline.se/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/En-book.png

    4- English OK
    https://www.omidbookstoreonline.se/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/En-correct.png

    After taking 2 screenshots from the corrupted pages 1 and 3, I changes theme to default and then reactivated Virtue. Then I could take the correct and fixed screenshots 2 and 4.

    By the way, 3 hours ago when I first created this ticket, I had fixed it once and it was OK. After a few hours it is again like this images that you see in 1 and 3

    Please send me a screen shot of what your seeing. That would be helpful as I continue to see the site working without issue? I do see that you have not yet set a language for “menu” on mobile but everything else is translating without issue.

    I also still see that you have oject, database and page caching on so it’s possible I am not seeing the most recent version of hte site since I can only see a cached version.

    Hi Hannah,

    I keep the plugin running with minify disabled but this problem has nothing to do with cache. I have the same theme with identical plugins and even same languages on another website and because I haven’t updated the plugin, it is working fine. I don’t have any cache plugin there.

    If you check the url https://www.omidbookstoreonline.se on this site: http://ready.mobi or any other mobile version checking website (even on your own mobile device), you will see that the content is completely messed up. If it is difficult to understand what I mean, I can take some screenshots and mark everything on the image.

    Maybe I need to contact Polylang support for this, but since I can not understand the roots of the problem, I need to know what is wrong first.

    Hi Nima,
    It makes sense that this problem was happening before you were using a cache plugin because your cache would not have been cleared. Did you disable the entire plugin or just minify? I would keep the plugin running with minify disabled.
    You are no longer seeing these issues, correct? Definitely let us know if they come up again!

    I didn’t have any cache plugin when this problem occurred. The site was terribly slow so I installed W3 total cache later. Minify broke the site completely so I disabled it and changed all the settings back. But as I said this problem happened before installing the cache plugin.

    I guess you didn’t have any problem viewing the site because I fixed it (the way I explained above) just before creating the ticket here. It stays good for a while but if we check it later, it will be crashed again! That is strange to me because even if it a cache problem, now that it looks fine should stay fine because it is cached like this.

    Hi,

    I do not know if this is just a Edge bug, but under Edge 14 I see images like this (not in Firefox, not in Chrome):
    1. Distorted:
    2. Pixelated / Bad quality:

    2. looks similar to the iOS bug as in

    Hitting Shift+Reload fixes it, but after a normal reload it happens again fairly often. I already cleared the Edge Browser cache, did not help.

    Do you also see this problem when surfing my site? I’ll post URLs in the next private post.

    #123593

    Hi guys

    Probably a very simple solution but I cannot figure it out … I have updated some of the images on my site … but the OLD images are still showing … even weeks later … must need a cache cleaning .. but where … and how ?

    #123384

    Ben,

    Tried once again after a while, with clean cache – it’s still hides under some items.

    http://asp-polyana-sochi.ru/info/

    this page for example – topbar menu on mobile is under image and h1

    Hmmm. I’ve tested it in Chrome and in Edge and have the same problem in both (I am not using a cache plugin). I have screen shots, if you’d like me to send those to you.

    Hey David,

    From what I can tell, it appears you haven’t assigned any text to the Kadence Slider. If you’re sure you have, also be sure that you’re clearing your cache after making the changes to the slider.

    Have you cleared your site’s cache since making changes to the slider?
