In reply to: Margin Kadence Slider

    #123314

    Hey David,

From what I can tell, it appears you haven’t assigned any text to the Kadence Slider. If you’re sure you have, also be sure that you’re clearing your cache after making the changes to the slider.

Have you cleared your site’s cache since making changes to the slider?

I did clear my browser cache many times, very strange. does it show up next to phone number correctly?

    Hey Delia,
I’m seeing your icons showing. Have you tried clearing your cache?

Problem solved, probably with last update. I delete cache and everything looking fine.

    Tnx for quick response.

I’m seeing it work fine on that product as well. I do not need to hit the clear selection button in order to see all of the products. It’s possible that the issue has been resolved with a plugin update and you’re still seeing a cached version of your site.

Have you tried clearing your site/browser cache?

Chrome, and Yes I looked again this morning making sure cache was cleared.
There were 2 issues. I believe I fixed one in text edit. This one seems to still be an issue, now only on this device.

    Thanks for the support!

Thanks Ben. I made the changes in both wp-config.php and PHP.ini as described in the article you sent me. Is there a way now to check whether some of the errors got fixed? Regards to the minify part, I just disabled it on w3 total cache to avoid further troubles :o)

    Hey,
I’m not seeing that. What browser are you using? Have you tried clearing your cache?

    Hey
    Out of memory

So that is as I expected you need to increase the php memory setting on your server.

That is done by contacting your host or you can see some manually ways here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/increasing-the-wordpress-memory-limit/

That would fix so much of your errors.

In terms of the JQuery errors. This has nothing to do with jquery migrate. Simply has to do with your minify settings. You can’t minify and move jquery to be loaded in a seperate place based on the plugins your using. So you can add minify and that will help your site speed (a little) but you have to work with the plugin settings to make sure minify isn’t moving where jquery loads. You can do this in the w3 total cache minify settings.

    Good Morning,

We are experiencing an issue with the menu and Kad slider Pro. It’s identical to this issue raised. See point 1. The sub items on the menu dropdown behind the slider, however if you scroll down even 1mm the menu pops to the front.

I have updated the theme to the latest version (3.9.1) but issue remains. Cache cleared too.

    I’ll send login details shortly.

    Many thanks for your help,
    Anthony

    Dear Hannah and Ben,

Thanks for coming back to me on my post.

    – Image size. I read the article that Hannah sent me: great one! I installed Imagify and did some magic in that respect. THANKS!

    – For the jquery loads I am a struggling because my level of knowledge does not go that far. This site has some bad history from the start (for whatever unknown reasons). Ben, long ago you checked the site and installed the Dequeue jQuery Migrate plug in to fix some errors. Now, I checked the report given by google page speed and saw quite some entries /minify (under Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content). So I disabled the Minify option in the W3 Total cache plug in. That error is not there but yet the Google Page Speed says “Your page has 5 blocking script resources and 18 blocking CSS resources. This causes a delay in rendering your page.” Not sure whether it is or not.

    What else can be tried?
Ben, where can I find the php error logs?

    Thanks

    Fabrizio

It’s not due to browser cache. You have to look at that portion as soon as the page load, I have attached the image on the first post. Tried firefox and chrome, same thing

    #122547

I just checked in several browsers and was not seeing that happening. Have you tried clearing your cache?

You could try clearing the plugin cache, if that’s an option. It may be loading from a minification of previous settings on your site.

Or you could try using a different cache/minify plugin entirely.
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/w3-total-cache/

This one is widely used and should offer you everything that the other plugin gives.

As for the pinterest issue, does a plugin such as this one have the functionality you’re searching for?

    Hi Hannah,
Thanks for your reply. I’ve cleared the cache and that didn’t solve it. Did a Browser compatibility test and it comes up fine. I’m using Internet Explorer 11.09600. Checked IE 11 and it was fine maybe it’s just the latest version. Fingers crossed they’ll fix it soon.
    Kind regards,
    Joanne.

I’m not seeing the css in your code. Did you remove it? Ensure that there is nothing in your css blocking later added css from taking effect (i.e. unclosed css, extra brackets, etc.). Also make sure your cache is cleared.

    Hi

I think this does not belong here, but any suggestion will be much appreciated…

Since this afternoon I cannot modify any page, post, staff, portfolio or product.

I after delivering some sales and I tried to update them as usual, but from the edit “order” page i got redirected to “ with a 404 page, but the “post.php” file is present. I have two versions of the site online (for testing) both have the same behavior. I have a local copy, this one is working fine…

I have done all kind of things, like disabling all plugins updated in the last few days, resetting cache local and at cloudflare… I reinstalled WP complete…

If I go as customer I can purchase without any problem, but when I tried to update the order: NOPE.

After several experiences I noticed the same was happening with any page, post, staff, portfolio, order or product.

    I am lost…

    Thanks

    Hi Joanne,
I am seeing your menu and sidebar display as normal. What browser are you using? Have you tried clearing your cache?
