    Hi Czarina

    Unfortunately i am umable to see your page.

    As long as you have the API KEY for the theme activated under Appearance>Getting Started and the Contact Page is set up as Contact Page on the right side under page default. Then you need to have the address entered on the lower half of the contact page properties and then go over to Appearance>Theme options>misc settings then enter the google maps api key and save.

    I then had to reset my router so the cache would clear out.

    Sorry i am traveling and am doing this from memory and responding on my phone. I hope this helps.

    You may need to start a new forum thread in order to get help from the Kadence Support team if this didn’t help.

    I am seeing it display more legible. Looks like increasing the line height did make a different. Are you not seeing that? Try clearing your mobile cache.

    Disregard. I don’t know what’s going on with my emptying of my cache, but it seems that it’s working now. (No, I don’t have a caching plugin that’s on, and I did close it out of the browser window before emptying cache.) Anyhow, Ben’s tip is what worked, if anyone else is looking at this. Thanks!

    Hi Ben,

    I’m having the same issue. I do have everything set to “no sidebar,” as described in Mary Ann’s original question. I did set it so that the blog page is not selected under Settings, Reading, as you suggested. Cleared cache. Still have sidebar. Any suggestions? Thanks. –Lori

    Hey,
    I’m seeing two posts in a row on mobile. Try clearing your cache.

    You don’t need the css in both places. Either in your child theme or in theme options.
    I am seeing the price gone on the product pages. Try clearing your cache.

    Hannah, thanks for taking a look.

    Have you looked at FFF Catering, though? In all common browsers – FireFox, Safari and Chrome on Mac – it’s clearly broken. (The slider under the menu is pushed way down and the menu is no longer running full-screen-width.) It was all working a few days ago just fine and broken IMMEDIATELY after updating from 3.8.6 to 3.8.7.

    The Brown’s website doesn’t hove the problem I mentioned above unless logged-in (and I only checked it while logged-in on Safari on Mac.) Not sure when this started, but I noticed it for a first time after the 3.8.7 update, so I’m pretty sure it on;y started happening yesterday, along with my other reports.

    The Dave Romeo site does display playable videos Ok in FF and Chrome, but nog on Safari on Mac. Whether logged-in or not, I just see black boxes where videos should be on Dave’s TV Show page(s). This site worked just fine on Safari on Mac on Virtue v3.8.6 as of yesterday early-morning, but immediately started having the “black box / no video” issue upon update to 3.8.7 later in the morning. (Again, it’s not a caching issue – I checked it with all caches cleared and disable on Safari, and I get the exact same results. This is definitely a new issue that started happening upon update to 3.8.7.)

    Please take another look as the FFF Catering site is still broken in all browsers, and the Dave Romeo site just shows black boxes in Safari where the embedded video players should be. (You can witness this if you visit ‘TV Show’ or related pages.)

    I REALLY need this theme to operate like it did before the recent update – all features working on all browsers. (Video playback just using the YouTube URL directly showing in all browsers like Dave Romeo’s TV Show page(s) – including Safari on Mac – and not having custom CSS break that worked last version of the theme to set my menu-bar to full-screen-width, also need my Rev Slider on all pages to not be pushed down – like on FFF Catering.)

    Please help. This is still on on-going issue, and anyone using Safari (at least on Mac) will be experiencing problems with Dave’s videos, and everyone is seeing FFF Catering badly, regardless of browser.

    Appreciate your on-going assistance,
    -Dan

    Another oddity is that after I removed that css I tried for the second column, cleared cache, waited a few minutes-well don’tcha know, that second column is off now.

    I’m seeing this in Firefox and Safari
    Good times!

    Hi-it’s just a bit lower, but noticable.

    I am clearing the cache, and this happens in all browsers.
    http://southcountynursinghome.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Screenshot-2016-10-03-06.11.56.png

    I tried adding space to the bottom of the 2nd column image, and it sent the photo way down.
    This is what I used:
    #panel-156-0-1-0 h3.widget-title {
    margin-bottom: 2px;
    }

    Thank you.

    Hey,
    I’m seeing that already. What browser are you using? Have you cleared your cache? Can you send a screenshot?

    I’m using both WP Rocket and my host’s proprietary cache service called Blackbird and Google PageSpeed Insights says that I have “24 blocking script resources and 19 blocking CSS resources. This causes a delay in rendering your page”.

    Should I reach out to WP Rocket or is this something that y’all can assist me with?

    Hi Dan,
    Sorry for your struggle! I actually am not able to see any of the issues you are referencing. I also have not heard of anyone else having trouble with this update. What browser are you using? Have you cleared your cache? Are all your plugins up to date?

    Hey,
    What version of the theme are you using? Have you tried clearing your cache? Do you know your php memory settings? It could be your php memory needs to be increased. Your host should be able to help you with that.

    Ben,

    Please help!

    I just updated many of my sites from 3.8.6 to 3.8.7 and now it’s broken some of my sites:

    Since the update, none of the videos play – they embed a blackbox for the video, but no thumbnail/cover appears and no player controls, etc. are available. This was working on previous versions. (Not using a shortcode, just the YouTube URL – again this is used extensively throughout the site, and now all videos embedded using this basic method no longer function.)

    The main slider on every page is now pushed down (lots of extra whitespace at the top) and the main menu is no longer full-width – it’s now constrained to the width of the rest of the site – wasn’t like that in 3.8.6! I haven’t changed any of my custom CSS – it just broke on update.)

    Here’s what the site used to look like before the update (excuse the low-quality image – taken from a small, cached preview of the site from before the latest theme update – but it shows the full-width menu and properly placed slider):

    I will provide credentials in my followup/private message to this post.

    I appreciate your quick response, as these sites are live and are now broken and visible to the world like this…

    Appreciated,
    -Dan

    Hey Carrie,
    When it comes to caching we recommend W3 Total Cache or if you’re willing to pay WP Rocket is really great.

    Good morning! So I’m definitely seeing that if I wait awhile, the changes show up. So it must be a cache issue. But my new problem is finding a plug in! The plug ins with the best profiles say “unavailable” (such as WP Super Cache)…why is that?

    #115598

    Hey Henry,
    Did you clear your cache after adding the code? Can you post a link?

    That is, if you’re using one. if you’re not, then definitely look into it. But if not, then this wont be your issue. It could also be your browser cache causing the old content to keep showing up.
