June 20, 2016 at 5:57 pm #99954Artur, on your activity-tracker page. Please edit the page where you see your shortcodes can you make sure to add columns=”3″ to each. After you do that clear your cache.
You can set the active menu color in your theme options > menu settings.

In forum: Virtue ThemeJune 20, 2016 at 10:03 am #99839Hey,
So need to clarify some things so there isn’t confusion later. portfolios are not the same as products. They are different post types. There is no “portfolio-products” it’s one or the other. Products being an option once woocommerce is installed. So “product categories” would have nothing to do with portfolio posts.
So first question can you filter portfolio posts with different levels of filtering and unfortunately that isn’t an option. Thats not what portfolio’s were designed for. So creating something like that would require some extensive coding of both php and javascript.
I don’t suggest trying to do this unless you really know what your doing.
I think it’s important to back up and ask why are you using portfolio posts for events? I really suggest using an events post for events. Here is a plugin that we support for this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/
That would give you different layouts as well as search options and different ways to view by category.
As for staff. Removing the excerpt wouldn’t really save you any loading time. Mostly loading for that is going to be based on how many items you are showing per page. And if your using good caching so all that information is saved in a cache file and the server doesn’t need to be queried every time the page is loaded.
so how many times are you showing? And what caching plugin are you using?

June 18, 2016 at 10:50 am #99673It doesn’t work like that to target something.
I’ve ran tests with the page cache off for the front page this should work.
If you would like you can send a temp login.

tried that but the problem persisted. I tried turning off various settings within page cache but nothing worked apart from disabling page cache altogether which drops my speed score by 20 points.
Is there no way to target just the rev slider or a specific div to exclude it from cache?
I have turned page cache off again for the time being
In forum: Virtue ThemeJune 17, 2016 at 7:27 pm #99619I’m not suggesting this is phone dependent. I’ve tested on an iphone 6 without issue. I’m wanting to test to see if it is just your phone needing to have it’s cache cleared. This is a pretty common thing if you’ve got older cached files on your phone
Do you mind trying?

June 17, 2016 at 2:38 pm #99566You can turn on page cache but you have to turn it off for the front page. Thats an option in the cache settings.

In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Mobile Slider and W3 Cache
In order to get the hero video I want on desktop to also work on mobiles I had to create two separate sliders. This works fine until I activate w3 cache. With it activated it only will call up the desktop slide. Sometimes it is the opposite and the mobile slider works on mobile but then it puts the mobile slider on the desktop which looks bad.
All minification is currently disabled until I can work out how to keep both sliders working as they should. Would you know which setting is likely to mess with which slide gets called up on mobile/desktop?
Update: it was the page cache option. is there a way I can turn this back on but not cache the slider?

In forum: Virtue ThemeJune 16, 2016 at 1:39 pm #99352Behavior 1. This is because browser don’t do a hard reload when you click back in the browser. This for a second about scroll through an article, you click on a link then decide you want to go back when you click back you don’t reload that article and have to start from the top. You start where you left off browsers consider this a good thing. It won’t always happen because browser cache is limited but it is the goal for some browser, safari does this more then chrome for example.
Behavior 2. where you logged in when this happend.
Can you send a screen shot of the topbar missing?
Behavior 3. Knowing above will help it sounds like you got into the search.

In forum: Virtue ThemeJune 16, 2016 at 1:19 pm #99346Hey,
Pressing the back button in a browser doesn’t force a reload. Usually it’s backing into a cached page. If you want to change that you can change the browser you using but in general pressing back after an ajax function (where you don’t leave the page your on) it’s something most people would do and most browsers wouldn’t for a page reload. If you would like to fine some way to force all browser to do a hard reload when they click back in your cart page woocommerce is the people to talk with. We don’t edit how the cart works. Thats a woocomemrce function and it’s not from the the theme.
In terms of the quantity buttons you don’t need a plugin and in fact it’s best if you don’t use one. Just turn it on in your theme options > shop settings.

June 16, 2016 at 1:09 pm #99342Hey Tom,
You need to clear your minify cache. It’s going to be one of your plugins. The css isn’t updated with the latest version.

June 16, 2016 at 1:01 pm #99337I don’t see the css in your custom css box. So either you are not clearing your cache. Or your not adding it there.
Can you check to make sure you placing the css in the theme options > advnaced settings > custom css.
You have a theme license, not a member license. Please make sure you set that to theme.
