… thats strange, its not working again.. i even deleted the cache.. here is how i have the code written..

the first part works just fine, but the second doesnt seem to work… is there something i am doing wrong?

Hi Ben, Hannah,

I am using the shortcode for my fullwidth static home page and the slider images are not full width. I specified full width in the kadence slider settings but it’s not working properly I guess. I tried Firefox and Safari, clear my cache and still the same.

Yes, I clear the rocket cache on site.

The image issue I have not been able to replicate, but it has happened to several clients. During the time that some clients have problems, I have had other orders come through with images uploaded.

^ That would be caused by a javascript error… like the facebook one i’ve told you about. or one if you didn’t clear the cache (rocket cache)on your site and updated anything like a plugin or theme or wordpress.

“Everytime I add the photo to the site, it wipes it out and sends me back to the page to upload the photo.”

^ thats how you have the product page set up? You don’t redirect to chart when someone adds something to cart so they would be right back on the same product page and since the image was uplaoded an set with the item to cart the user would then not see the image area filled because there product is in the cart.

Have you been able to see the image issue? Was this just one person?

I’m confused. You have the free theme activated again? Why? Whenever you update are you making sure to clear your cache?

You still have a plugin adding this:
“http://connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js” and that is not https so it’s causing errors.

Which is still not allowing the site to be full ssl.

I just activated the premium theme. Ran through tests nothing was wrong. Uploaded an image to a product without issue on multiple browsers. What browser are you not seeing this working on? And have you cleared your cache?

After creating a layout and testing I created another site where I imported the theme options (I did it with the WP importer plugin and a xml-file). Everything was fine until I wanted to change the banner on the main site. It still links to the old page. Even when I change the settings on the new (productive) site it is not changing.
There are no cache-plugins installed.

I’d be thankful for any hint.

Thanks for the headsup on the parallax Ben! I did’t have it checked in the Kadence slider plugin…

I switched to the Cyclone slider and there were no image magnification issues there. I then switched back to the Kadence Slider and all appears to be well now. Not sure what was going on – maybe I had something cached? Not sure, but it’s working as expected now.

Yep, cleared the cache in the settings and then confirmed it, but the home page still shows with Times New Roman with the Firefox Focus content blocker. I’ll keep nosing around as I can, but I don’t want you or me to spend anymore time on this for the moment. I’ll push the updates live and worry about it later…if I get any major feedback from users.

I have now contacted my host, and hope they can help me get a page speed as yours on the 800ms. I dont know what else to do.
Google says that i have to optimize my pictures, but i have already smushed all of them in media? https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=altdetbedste.dk&tab=desktop
How do i optimize these pictures? I would really like a good page speed..

And yes the arrows just appeared again after setting up w3 cache again.

This should be the last.

Hey,
Have you cleared your total cache and your minify?

1. Looks like you are using a lazy load on your images and thats breaking the layout.. Need to deactivate lazy load.

2. I’m seeing two errors where the font for the icon is not loaded. What version of the slider are you using? What is your navigation set to?

3. This is an issue with lazy load. Just need to turn that off.

I just did a test using a content blocker. arial showed as the font on my Iphone6.

Hey Danny,
I’m not seeing the css in your code. I also see that you’re using WP Super Cache. This plugin requires you clear your cache after every change is made. Try doing so and see if the css reappears. Let me know if it doesn’t.
