HI,
Yes, I used W3 Cache. Actually I have deactivated some functions last time as per your advice, but now I have deactivated the plugin completely. let’s see how it works. BUt I have already noticed that the site donwloads less faster((((I disabled the AJAX – thanks.
On WP memory I did as per recommencations and now it says that my WP memory is 96. THanks for that. However, I noticed that now I can edit my site via admin, if only I use moscow-monopod.ru/wp-admin site. If I enter the mirror site: okgadget.ru/wp-admin it says following:
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/gps-market/moscow-monopod.ru/docs/wp-config.php:1) in /home/gps-market/moscow-monopod.ru/docs/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1228
I remember you adviced me stop having 2 sites, but this task is in the line, after othhers more urgent are fixed. Is there any way to fix that warning now?
THe IE version is 11.0.9600. I know that is not the latest version, and I could update that. But it is not about me. My potential clients can have any version and I cannot control that, so would be great that any version of EI could work propoerly here. Is there anything I or you can do to fix that?
THanks
SashaOk, thanks.

December 22, 2015 at 10:57 am #72564Just to add a little servers have caching of there own and files are often cached by the version number, when you add to the child theme css file your server and browser can still be caching it. It’s important in that situation to clear your personal browser cache.

December 22, 2015 at 10:53 am #72560Hey Danny,
To be clear when we say to clear y our cache we are talking about the wp-super cache plugin you have installed on your site. You have to clear that every time you make any change else you won’t see the change on your site.
Go to settings > super cache and click the delete cache button.

Hey Mark,
Yes, you can put all your css in Theme Options. Are you clearing your cache? That’s the only thing I know of that would keep it from showing right away.
Even when you are using a child theme you are still safe to put css in theme options. It really is up to you.Hannah

December 21, 2015 at 6:26 pm #72453Based on your site I’m seeing an error coming from this plugin: wp-live-chat-support
I suggest deactivating it and then testing. Make sure you clear the site cache.

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Possible Bug in IE?
December 21, 2015 at 4:45 pm #72439Hey thanks for all the help Ben, I tried every code you posted but for some reason the bug its still there. I even empty the cache and still nothing. The other problem I’m finding with IE is that for some pages it displays the correct favicon and for others it will display my web hosting favicon which is the only browser that does this.

I was trying to listen on Firefox, which is the browser I use, and could not hear anything. But when I just tried on Chrome it works. Now that I’ve had a chance to listen I’ve decided to keep the music off, though I am wondering why it won’t play on Firefox. I cleaned the cache on the browser and site.
***A bigger problem is that when I just tried the site on Microsoft Edge, the movie is not playing at all. All I see is a black screen with the words popping up. Can you please help me out with this?
Regarding my 2nd question: Thank you. That worked, but now I’m wondering if it’s possible to remove the banner from the mobile phone, but keep it for the tablet. If not, I think I’d like to know how I can remove it so it doesn’t appear on the phone or tablet.

December 21, 2015 at 3:40 pm #72430Hey,
In yoast setting you can define an image and description that facebook will use when sharing. Once you do make sure you give it some time to update. I just checked with your post and I was able to see the image coming through. Have you give this a couple days for the cache to clear?

December 21, 2015 at 12:25 pm #72378Hey,
1. Has to do with you adding the column shortcodes inside a fullwidth row.. You can add this:.siteorigin-panels-stretch .row { margin: 0; }2. That has to do with your wordpress footer recent posts widget.. you can add this css:
@media (max-width: 768px){ .footerclass .widget_recent_entries li { margin-bottom: 10px; } }3. This is something you would need to use a plugin to change. The theme and plugins all use regular wordpress hooks to add in scripts. If you want to minimize scripts you need to use something like w3 total cache of wp-rocket cache and enabled the css and js minify.
Just a note, Google page speed is a tool. Always look at the most important thing which is load time over any ranking from them. Just run amazon through and you’ll see what I mean.

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: W3 Total Cache settings
December 20, 2015 at 4:47 pm #72258Hey,
When you installed w3 total cache and you have woocommerce enabled you should have a notice in your admin telling you to add wc sessions into the ignored list (that is if your using database caching). If you’ve done that then my guess would be that your server is adding some of it’s own cache and thats creating the conflict. So that is something to contact your server about.
I suggest just starting with browser caching, page caching and then work from there,

In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: W3 Total Cache settings
December 20, 2015 at 3:48 am #72210Hi,
I have noticed that you frequently recommend the W3 Total Cache plugin for speeding up websites. I have tried the plugin and I think it is really great, however, I seem to be having the same issue over and over again upon setting it up. For some reason, the Cart page (Woocommerce) seems to be fetching cached information everytime the page is refreshed. This means that adding and removing items from the cart becomes problematic, since every subtle refresh updates the cart with cached items that should not be in the cart.
I have reverted my website back to an earlier version and am now running without any caching plugin installed.
I would like to know if anyone else have had this issue and if Kadence could provide us with an official guide on how to properly set up W3 Total Cache for the Virtue Theme?
Thanks in advance!
