    Hey,
It’s not something with your css.

It’s caused by you running too many plugins on your server and it not being able to keep up. Even if it was working before your server could now be putting limits on your resources that weren’t previously there. This is different then just php settings. If your server isn’t offering you any solutions then I suggest pushing them to get your php limits higher (max memory like 256mb) and work on making your site use less resources.
By enabling caching.. w3 total cache plugin for example.
Removing plugins, anything not necessary especially backend plugins like analytics. Use google analytics so it’s all not loading on your server. Then see how it goes from there. Based on everything your saying I don’t think you have a issue per say. like one plugin that is causing all kinds of issues.

I suggest WPML although it’s not free.

You must go into super cache settings and clear it.

Just post a login to your site.

Live composer deactivated again. Take a look now, please. Not displaying products.

How can I clear the plugin´s cache?

    Hi Ben,
Cleared Browser´s cache using CTRL+F5 and WordPress cache. Both: Nothing

Even with the live composer plugin deactivated I can not see the products… 🙁
Jesus, every time WordPress decide to “upgrade” its core a lot of issues arise.

Yesterday the SHOP was working fine.

Maybe Woocommerce is overwriting the Theme´s configuration regarding the Products way of been displayed?

    Thank again Ben

    Hey,
It’s certainly a plugin, after deactivating your plugins did you clear your browser cache?

    Ben

I updated both Virtue and Woo but now all of my products are showing as free. That is until you go to checkout and then the proper price shows up. I cleared the cache but that was of little use.

    Help.

Have you cleared your w3 total cache?

    Hi,

I have had several problems with my theme options not saving or displaying. This time, the problem is that when I save my theme options in the backend, they do not show up on the front end. I have cleared my cache on Google Chrome and I have updated the php.ini file. Before, the problem was that the changes wouldn’t save in the backend and we updated the php.ini file which fixed the problem. Now it will save in the backend, but doesn’t display on the front.

    Hi Viber,
I just tested and all the secondary menu items were working fine. What browser are you using? Have you tried clearing your cache?

    Ben,

I just exported/imported the URL from one setting to the other.

I didn’t clean the cache originally, but since you asked I used WP Super Cache plugin and there was only super cache to be cleaned, which I cleaned.

Regarding the two blogs, the server is the same and I have only ONE WordPress installation for them with “multi-site” enabled. Virtue theme was installed on the network (i.e., applies to all our WordPress) and enabled / configured in one blog (http://en.euterpe.blog.br/), where it works perfectly. Later I replicated the layout to the other blog on my network (http://euterpeb.blog.br/), where these problems persist.

Now, regarding the problem on page 3, I accessed its HTML source code (http://euterpe.blog.br/page/3), and an error message appeared at the bottom:

Call to undefined method WP_Image_Editor_Imagick::get_error_message() in <b>/home/euter250/public_html/wp-content/themes/virtue_premium/lib/aq_resizer.php</b>on line <b>157</b>

It seems some problem with some featured image from some post on this page, but I still don’t know which one.

And the other problems with any of the posts persist (it doesn’t affect pages, nevertheless, like http://euterpe.blog.br/livros-e-sites.

    Any idea from here?

    Thank you very much!

I have resolved that with the css code :

    .kad-header-style-basic #logo { /* cacher le logo */
        display: none;
    }

but maybe there is a solution with the theme options

    #52185

What method did you use to import?

    Have you cleared all caches?

When you imported where you importing posts?

Is your temp site set up on a different server? Like do you have different server settings?

I’m suddenly not showing the “Theme Options” under my Appearance tab. I tried updating the theme, clearing my browser cache, and updating my plugins to no avail. My WordPress just updated recently to 4.2.4 and I’m using Pinnacle Premium. My post feeds are not showing up in the RSS, either, not sure if that’s connected or not. My site is http://www.BlurryPhotos.org Please let me know if you need any other information. Thanks!

    Good to hear it worked.

First of all i can recommend using W3 Total Cache over WP super cache. Here is a short tutorial, about how to use it. Only use browser and page cache, leave everything else. Also go to page cache en look for Don’t cache pages for following user roles Check it, and also check admin underneath it. Then the caching will exclude you as a admin logged in user.

The most easy explanation i can give you about caching is that it saves (lets say every day) a new file for every page. so it can load faster for user experience (it will load that saved file). The only downside to it, is that when you change something, it will appear after the refresh time you have set in the settings, so it wont appear instantly on your page. What you can do in W3 total cache, is to clear all caches. From the moment you clear the cache, every change you have made would show up for the people who visit your website. See this infographic

I hope you understand caching better know, to use it the right way!

Oke try in wp super cache, to empty all cache (i think it is on the wp super cache setting menu) after that refresh your page by hitting F5 and see if the changes are made. If not, try to disable the wp super cache plugin en refresh again, see if that works!

Maybe a stupid question, but do you know what caching does?

thanks for the reply evo..with the theme I installed(activated) the ‘WP Super Cache’.

    Hey Ben,thanks for replying.
My hoster is not low quality – I have a manged vserver which is around 90 Euros/month…
I would like to try Opcde Cache with APCu but I am not sure they will be able to work this out.

    #51784

if you want an easy caching plugin that is very good use wp rocket. FYI it’s not free though.

Every server is different so settings are not something you can just say do this in w3 total cache. But in general make sure you have page caching on and minify on auto.

    -Rating Widget
    -Floating Social Bar

    (don’t know these so I can’t comment.)

WP Super Cache – I strongly recommend using w3 total cache or wp rocket over that plugin.

    – Wordfence takes up a lot of resources so if your not on a high end server I don’t really recommend it. For hardening I recommend https://wordpress.org/plugins/sucuri-scanner/

If you need more then that and your on a shared server I suggest ithemes security.

yith zoom is fine. thats more of a preference thing.

As for recommended. use as little as possible. only want you need.

    Hi,
so I have two questions: I am trying to get a better site speed and talked to my hoster who recommended to switch from PHP 4.5.37 to 4.5.37 with Opcode and APCu. I did this and suddenly my site including the backend was not accessible anylonger. My hoster tried for two days to sort this out but they had never had anything like this happen before and still don’t know why it is not working. They said they think it is either because of the theme or the plugins(or the combination of them) and told me to ask you if Virtue Premium is compatible with PHP 4.5.37 with Opcode and APCu.
My second question is regarding W3. I have tried to get it configured properly(as well as other cache plugins) but can’t seem to get it right.
For example, if I enable the minify option, it gives me a warning that auto ode is not possible, so I chose manual and added every js and css script that was possible to add(w/o the layout breaking). Then, when doing another pingdom test, my site was actually slower and there was even a red js warning from the minify. I played around with only using combine and not minify, still no change. Then I disabled minify completely and tried Autoptimize, which really speeds up once the page is cached, but when it is not cached, page load is lik 9-10 seconds! And it still breaks certain layouts.
So I am really at a loss on how to combine and minify the js and css. What would you suggest?

Thank you Ben&Hannah, and I agree regarding the post of Jacky: Your support is truly the best!
