Topic: Mobile Site Not Showing
Hi. I recently upgraded my site to Virtue Premium, and I love it. However the problem that I’m having now is that it’s not showing up on the mobile site. Instead, the previous theme I used called Sketch is still showing up. It says proudly powered by wordpress..Theme: Sketch by wordpress.com. I cleared the cache, and updated my virtue theme, and deactivated mobile in my jetpack, and it’s still showing the old theme components. It won’t show any of my mobile setting or the virtue features. Help!
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeHi Ben,
I just checked in on this via multiple machines, each with thier cache cleared and it isn’t showing the code in the custom CSS box – was this where it was added?
(The white line is still visible at top and bottom of the page, I’m sorry to say.)
Thanks again for your awesome support!

June 9, 2015 at 10:36 am #44687ok, I strongly strongly recommend you not do this as it’s a really bad idea for updates. If you want all your css in one file use w3 total cache and enable minify. Then you can move theme all to one file but when you have an update it just means clicking the clear cache to clear the minify and not having to manually add the css into a file.
Also you can’t do this with the third item google-fonts anyway, that has to be loaded from google.

June 8, 2015 at 1:58 pm #44577It doesn’t need to be yahoo. You can make it whatever you want.
I don’t see latest post on your home page? Looks like your using w3 total cache, did you clear it and look?

June 8, 2015 at 10:19 am #44494The image. As I said above it’s not about the dimensions. It’s about compressing for web. Your image was 3mb. You can keep it the same dimensions and compress it to keep quality and your image is less then 1mb. You need to do that will all your images. The city image was only one example of you using uncompressed images.
I took your two largest images and compressed them to give you an idea.I turned w3 total cache on. You seem to be running a lot better now.

June 8, 2015 at 9:39 am #444861. You have to give it a day with your maintenance off to clear the cache.
2. In your post. Did you set the post summary to portrait image? http://docs.kadencethemes.com/virtue/#blog_posts

June 6, 2015 at 12:25 pm #44327Hey,
It’s not a coding issue because you are the only one with this issue. No one else reporting and I can’t recreate anywhere. Means it’s something with your set up. your server and your plugins. It concerns me that your site crashed while trying to run w3 total cache. That points again to something wrong on your server.
You really want to get that image resized just for loading.
Send me a temp login to your site I’ll take a look around.
But also contact your server. Ask theme for your current php settings information like max memory, max execution time.

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Virtue 3.0.8 – styles in Advanced Settings
Hi Ben,
1. I thought it might be Cloudflare, which minifies css, html and js, but I disabled minify and the problem remained (caches purged, development mode selected).
2. I disabled ALL plugins including Woocommerce on my website and the problem remained.
3. I cleared my browser cache regularly. It’s a mystery, but I note the only thing that changed was updating to Virtue Premium 3.0.8.
I’m not sure what to try next but will keep fiddling. I’d be grateful for any thoughts you might have.

Help! Just can´t find the problem! I took the big picture (http://www.coconut-couture.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/revoslide1.jpg) out of my blog completely to try out if it fixes the problem. Didn´t change anything so I put it back in till I have time to resize it.
I tried w3 total cache, which broke my page. I use cachify instead now. Didn´t fasten my page either though (I tested on pagespeed.de).
The carousel of similar or recent posts doesn´t load at all anymore! There is only a big white space.
I deleted all unimportant plugins and tried it with removing all content (pictures, css) from other sites (banners, logos etc.). Also didn´t help anything.
I tried opening my website with the safari browser today and realized, that many objects show up in the wrong place. For your information, on cellphones (I use Samsung and a friend tried on iphone) everything works super fine.
Could it be, that it isn´t a loading issue? Maybe some coding is broken?! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
In forum: Virtue ThemeJune 4, 2015 at 5:30 pm #44108Willem, your issue has nothing to do with super cache.
Just send me a temp login I’ll take a look.
It sounds like you just have “veranda” selected somewhere and you just need to select a different font.

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn forum: Virtue ThemeIn forum: Virtue ThemeJune 4, 2015 at 5:20 pm #44103ok getting confused. The wp-super cache didn’t have anything to do with your site…. If you logged in and remove veranda from the typography section then email me a login to your site: [email protected]

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn forum: Virtue ThemeIn forum: Virtue ThemeJune 4, 2015 at 4:50 pm #44098Willem,
Go to theme options > typography settings. Scroll down to the body font. choose a different font then save. See if that fixes it.
Doris,
On this site: http://www.blessedbaskets.com/ I can see the code on your site and it’s showing that your using wp super cache. So It’s possible you’ve disabled the plugin? But that wouldn’t turn it off. you have to actually have the plugin enabled and then turn if off in the plugin settings for it to be turned off.

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn forum: Virtue ThemeJune 4, 2015 at 2:29 pm #44063I can not see any kind of changes unless save, deactivate and then reactivate.
Are you using wp super cache? And are you clearing it after each change you make?
