June 4, 2015 at 12:27 pm #44028Also because it’s good to have caching you my want to install w3 total cache. A lot of your pages are large because of videos you have. I was thinking that if you were on slow internet it’s possible the whole page times out and that can always cause strange things.

June 1, 2015 at 2:06 pm #43557Ok so when I look on mobile I can see your content. I also see an error caused by your ads. I strongly suggest you fix all errors and get your ads set up properly, even if that means for you hiring a developer.
But regardless I can at least see your content. Have you cleared the cache on your phone?

June 1, 2015 at 12:26 am #43428I’m confused? Your trying to share a link when the site is under construction? Facebook has it’s own cache, even if you turned the under construction off to test the share it wouldn’t work, there cache is about 2 days before they would re scan your site.

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Page has problems loading properly
May 31, 2015 at 9:06 am #43376Ok, I just tried on firefox and it worked. either way though, if deactivating plugins helped then it’s likely a loading issue. Meaning your server is timing out trying to load the site.
I’m looking at your pingdom results: http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/#!/pcbhz/http://www.coconut-couture.com/You are loading some really large files. Like this one: http://www.coconut-couture.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/revoslide1.jpg
The dimensions is fine it’s just the image is not compressed for web. You want to try and get your site size from 5.8 to less then 2mb.
You should also instal w3 total cache to help with the browser cache so it loads faster.

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Slow Loading Website
Hi Ben:
The slow loads seem to be dissapating. They were really bad a day or so ago. I’ve been on the phone with my host, and they may be having success identifying the problem. My Pingdoms this morning have been pretty good, with the exception of a couple loads that took over a minute.
Thanks again for looking at this. I think I can say the problem is not with WP or the theme or my plugins. I did install w3 total cache. In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Slow Loading Website
May 30, 2015 at 10:21 am #43296Have you tried installing w3 total cache?
From what I can see it’s not installed…
I just tried pingdom from Amsterdam, Australia and Sweden, (not to mention the us servers). I can’t get it to go above 5sec from Australia. So I can’t see what might be causing a 30 second load. Have you tried deactivating your plugins?

Your site isn’t as bad as some: http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/#!/bEwq1C/http://new.sealanderarchitects.com/Although it would certainly help you to install w3 total cache. and optimize your images.

1. I guess because I’m still using the slider even though it’s only one image, I’m still having the loading problem. Is there another option that is not a slider?
2. I changed the background color in Advance Styling but it’s not changing. I cleared the cache and still not working.
In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: SITE NOT FUNCTIONING AFTER UPDATE
I recently, yesterday before updating this morning, have increased the WP_MEMORY_LIMIT to 256M.
I will attempt to disable my cache plugin and see if maybe that helps something but I’m at a loss for the above listed errors.

In forum: Virtue ThemeI’m using the latest version of Chrome (Version 43.0.2357.81), and I also tested it in Firefox (version 35.0.1).
After I deleted my cache, I restarted my computer, but still seeing the incorrect fonts. And I also had my wife look at the site on her computer, and she’s seeing the same as me.
In forum: Virtue ThemeI just deleting my cache and didn’t seem to help. Here’s a screenshot of the link I sent in my original question: https://www.dropbox.com/s/je85682j20ngmtu/font%20issue.png?dl=0
You can see the “Official Site,” “Date,” and “Location” are all in a serif font like Times Roman, and the “Description” is in Lato.
Any other thoughts? I tried fixing it in the CSS file, but that also didn’t seem to work.
Thanks
