May 27, 2015 at 6:35 pm #42907Hey Kevin,
so when hannah says clear your cache that is referring to the plugin you have installed called wp super cache. That plugin is what you have to clear. If you go to settings > wp super cache click on the easy tab and click the “delete cache” button. With that plugin installed you will have to do that after every change you make.
Right now you have four items enabled in the home layout.
1. icon menu (you have only put three icons in)
2. on sale products ( you don’t have woocommerce installed with products created so that will show nothing since there is nothing to show. You need to install woocommerce and make products and put some of those products on sale for you to have content showing from the on sale products.)
3. Portfolio Carousel (you don’t have any portfolio posts create so this like the above is empty beside the title. If you want to have a portfolio carousel you have to first add some portfolio posts)
4. latest post – this is showing 2 posts.Hope that helps!

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeTopic: facebook share
May 27, 2015 at 8:35 am #42791Hi there,
I switched to the Pinnacle theme about a month ago. I am trying to share my latest post on FB and all that will show up is the site title (not the post title that I am trying to share or images: *Login to see link ). This happens both when I try to share within the FB platform, or when I use the social sharing button above my post. I have attached the info that I am seeing when I scrape it with the FB debug. Any thoughts?
I am running the following plugins: Askiment, W3 Cache, Google Analytics by Yoast, SEO by Yoast, Simple Share Button, Mail Chimp, plus all the plugins that were recommended with Pinnacle.
I am new to Pinnacle and Yoast so perhaps there are some fields I am not filling out properly (although I did fill out the section in Yoast on Social Sharing for FB to no avail).
From FB debug.

Thanks Joya,
Ben will be on later today. As he said, there are a couple different things that can cause this. Have you cleared your cache? Have you tried deactivating plugins? And as I said before, probably not a bad idea to contact your host about php settings.Hannah

Greetings Hannah! Thank you so much for responding. The site is under construction so I really don’t have a link. Based on the other thread, this is what Ben had to say:
There can be a couple different things that can cause this. Not always a php settings thing if you have a plugin that is creating the issue. If you need to change your php settings most hosting companies will do it for you so that would be the best route if you don’t want to change any of the php settings code. (mine will not do so) Hey Joya, Just to be clear, Dina just needed to clear the cache after making changes in the theme options. Dina ended up not needing to change any php settings. Can you make a new post and describe what is happening to you. Let us know if you have a caching plugin installed like wp super cache and be sure to have deleted the cache on the settings page.
In that new post we can get site info if needed.
Ben
Hanna, while I am waiting for Ben to get back to me, I welcome your feedback. Thanks!
In forum: Virtue ThemeI have virtue premium. Each time I make changes to the theme options, I press save. It seems to save the change but when I check to see if I like the change, it is not there. When I return to theme options, it automatically reverts back to the original data versus the changes I thought were saved. I have been wrestling with this dilemma for two days.
I do not know how to access and make changes to PHP. If someone has a step by step solution inside the theme, that would prove helpful. And, no, I do not have the wp cache plugin.
I checked out another post on this same topic. Ben Ritner suggested I start a new post to understand what is happening and to possibly get sit info. Ben, I am awaiting your reply. Thanks!

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Lightbox no longer working on standalone images
May 25, 2015 at 2:00 pm #42435Hey Anton,
When you add an image with wordpress through the add media button at the top of your screen it adds a class to your image. The wp-image class that is looked for by the lightbox. It’s it’s not there it doesn’t open in a lightbox. Looking at your site it seems your images don’t have that class? Did you add through a different method then the add media button? The letters and numbers added at the end of your url is from a plugin. It’s used for adding a cached version of the image to the browser cache. Assuming you meant to add the plugin there isn’t anything wrong.

In theme Options » home layout
After passing items from disabled section to enabled section and press “save changes” a small window appears in the top of the page saying:”there was a problem with your action. Please try again or reload the page.” After reloading the page ,the items that are supposed to show do not appear. Instead other items are showing.
I have re-uploaded the theme,but no change.
I have cleared the cache at wordpress and also flushed tha DNS.
I would like to send screenshots for appreciation. Please send me an e-mail address so that I can send it.Rgds
