Hey Gerald,
Looks like your using wp super cache. Have you cleared that cache after you made changes? By going to settings > wp super cache and clicking on the easy tab then clicking delete cache?

Thanks for getting back to me, seems the problem was that I had accidentally installed WP Super Cache on the localhost website, god knows why I did that, after I removed the plugin Super-cache left its code on the htaccess and wp-config files, once I cleaned that up Backupbuddy worked great, the only thing it didn’t pick up was Revolution Slider content on the Homepage.

I’d like to buy you guys a coffee, you should have a little donation button.

I turned the cache off. Please see the above post. Its still not working that is the Pre built page that you guys see on my website now. The page that I build in my theme option Home layout is not showing up. I sent my login information to you guys in the last post. Please login and go to my Theme Option tab and try to refresh it for me. You will then see what I am talking about. The information on my home layout will not refresh to my website!

I have checked and the code is in the css box, i have also got a friend to check on their computer and everything still looks the same. I have also done an ipconfig flush dns which normally sorts out any cache issues on my system.

I have taken some screenshots if you need them that i can send to you via email?

Hey, Hostgater should work fine with w3 total cache. Regardless it’s always best to developer and make all the changes on your site without caching then add it later. Just note that you have to clear the cache when you make changes in the future.

If you can just clear your cache I think you would be fine but your wordpress login info would allow us to clear if for you and turn it off while your developing.

Hey Veronica,
Just took a look at your site. You have wp super cache installed and running. wp super cache copies an output of your site and saves it in a cache. Unless you manually delete that cache it will always server up the site as the cached version and not taking any theme changes into effect. Go to settings > super cache and delete the cache. Then reload your home page. Note that it’s always best to turn the cache off while developing a site.

Cheung, wp super cache requires that you clear your cache every time you update. As far as caching plugins go we recommend w3 total cache ( https://wordpress.org/plugins/w3-total-cache/ ). If you decide to switch make sure your turn off caching in super cache before deactivating.
