    The second screenshot is the slider as I had built it before I bought the premium version. It is not a case of deleting cache,though, as I changed the footer in the premium today and that has changed (out of view) on second screenshot.

    Hi Jess,
    Sometimes it’s not the amount of images, but how large the images are. Are you using larger images on the two slower sites? I am using the virtue: carousel widget on my sites and it loads fine. You can test here to see what’s taking the most time to load- http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/
    I also recommend W3 total cache- https://wordpress.org/plugins/w3-total-cache/

    No. Not the background image. there is a logo that says “ADDISONARTGALLERY” in a topbar widget. It shows up correctly everywhere but on the home page. I tested on am iPhone that had never visited the page. So, it’s not a cache issue.

    The theme uses the caching, it’s a good thing, makes the site faster, you just still have to delete the cache with each change.

    Do I really need WP Super Cache plugin?

    No, and I don’t recommend using it. w3 total cache is much much better.
    Your issue with wp super cache is that you have to manually clear the cache after you make any change. It’s not a conflict its how the plugin was created. You can go into the settings and click the button for delete cache after you make any change.

    You can see the theme changelog here: http://docs.kadencethemes.com/virtue/#changelog

    Hi Ben,

    I guess I found out what the problem is. There must be a conflict with WP Super Cache.

    I also had problem with adding codes to custom CSS field. It took long to take effect.

    I deactivated and deleted WP Super Cache plugin and now it is working.

    Do I really need WP Super Cache plugin?

    Thanks,
    Jay

    Just tested in three different browsers and the normal menu shows in all. Are you sure your cache is cleared? What browser are you using?

    Hey, the three lines drop down should only appear on mobile screens. Perhaps try clearing your cache. Can you also provide a link to your site?

    It could be a cached version of your admin style sheet. Give it a day and it should get better.

    Thanks Ben. This code changed the border. One down however the first code still is not changing the font color in that coupon box. I’m not sure how to go about clearing the cache for just that site – I did do the “flush cache” but the font color is still gray. Not a huge deal but I would like it to be consistent. I don’t want to delete my history for all other sites. Any suggestions.

    1. For the apply button, this is your css:

    .shop_table .actions input[type=submit].button {
    background: #DDC77E;
    color: #ffffff;
    }

    and I see it in your custom css so try clearing your cache.

    2. You can use this css:

    div.wpcf7-mail-sent-ok {
    border: 0;
    }

    On the shop page the product items are coming in one at a time which is very odd. This behavior started after the latest updates of Virtue (2.8.3) and Woo (2.2.11). This only affects the shop pages; the portfolio pages are fine and come in smoothly.

    I have tested things, deactivated all the plugins but Woo*, and the problem persists. Took out all the custom CSS snips and Function.php changes and still no fix to the problem.
    *(The site doesn’t work without WooCommerce active.)
    Note, no cache is active at this time.

    I have glanced over the support forums on Woo and no one has reported anything similar, but will continue to search further.

    This affects this site only, I have another one, different theme, but with almost identical plugins along with Woo and even after the updates it doesn’t have this problem and is free of the throttling of the shop pages.

    This is too confusing for me. I have rolled it back to this morning’s backup but I still see the wrong font. Hannah, thanks, I have just tried deactivating plugins, deleting a few I don’t use, cleared browser cache, still no change. And yet it looks fine to you, Ben!

    One thing I am seeing… When I look at your pingdom link I see it as it should be, but when I test it myself I get what looks like a warning about the font on the fifth line down (although the screenshot is OK). http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/#!/cqbyZZ/http://bonnyclaith.co.uk/

    I have no idea what that means, however.

    I clear the cache. This is the page should come up if you press the green button : http://index.hu/
    and instead, comes the page itself.

    I tried from several browsers and also from different devices.

    #29199

    Hey, seems to be working? Try clearing your cache.

    Hello,

    yes I clear my cache after every change.
    The reason I am using the additional plugin is because the site needs more than 4 markers going forward and the current one only does 4 max.
    I could use the extra plugin AND the theme map plugin – but they won’t look the same. Client will probably not like it is it’s different…

    Also your using a caching plugin and it’s very important that you clear the cache every time you make a change. (wp super cache doesn’t clear it for you when you update something or add a plugin.)

    As for two maps even with that it can still work. It kind of depends on the plugin though. are you trying to do something that the theme map shortcode can’t do? Is that why your using a plugin?

    Ben
