In forum: Pinnacle ThemeIn reply to: Row Animation Issues
yes, I’d already done that
I also just now removed the delay (from default duration to none) – I assumed that was inactive when ‘animation none’ is selected but it may not have been.
There’s still a delay in rendering all 3 elements.. ie one of them seems to happen later than the other 2…it may have improved it slightly – I’m not sure
Its only on first visit (ie when browser cache is cleared) this will be visible… which is kind of important as first impressions last.

In forum: Ascend ThemeIn reply to: Ascend with Elementor
Hi Hannah… it might be a different number depending on page I create but for this I chose 4 in Elementor..
I have cleared cache and same issue…
Can you see the distortion at trickstore.co.uk/home2 ?
Elementor replied saying:
The image resolution or size for the products cannot be controlled from elementor…
from thumbnail width check that… it is set correctly…
Elementor basically uses the core media library of wordpress and simply follows the standard image sizes of woocmmerce and just embeds them. If you would disable elementor pro you would still face the same issue.
Now when I disable Ascend and goto TwentyNineteen everything displays perfectly in 4 columns and changes for mobile but please see images of difference.
wwhen using Ascend the image filename of each image seems to not be the 300 x 300 one and are all different for eg:
https://trickstore.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/65573-full-400×400.jpgBUT when using TwentyNineteen the image address is: https://trickstore.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/66561-full-300×300.jpg
So the theme must be making some sort of changes to the layout or code.
Please let me know your thoughts thanks

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeTopic: Row Animation Issues
Hi,
I previously had a fade in left and fade in right on the second row elements of the home page here however performance issues made the result too jerky if the images had not yet been cached.
I removed those element animations however, the second row is still animating in a fade up for the entire row. (which I think is contributing to the performance issue of the animations I removed)
Is this default for the theme or is there some way I can turn this animation off as there is no animation set in the page builder for any elements in that row.
I hope this makes sense, please ask for clarification if required.

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Several problems with categories and attributes
Thanks for the reply Hannah,
1/ I’m just using the normal “shop” menu item
I have one product only, entered, and selected only for one subcategory, where it appears correctly,
BUT it also appears as a product displayed in that subcat’s parent category.
The product is not box ticked back end for the parent category.
Isn’t this incorrect behaviour?? (It doesn’t happen on any of our other wordpress sites)
https://www.eaparts.nz/product-category/an-fittings/
Mousing over the incorrectly displayed one shows the subcat path, so why is it also appearing one directory higher?
Is there a wp/vitrue setting causing this that I’m missing?2/ In the variations here:
https://www.eaparts.nz/shop/an-fittings/100-series-fittings/eaparts-100-series-hose-end-fittings-different-sizes-degrees-and-colours/
There is only: 60 degrees, AN6, black AND 60 degrees, AN6, blue-red as having prices (2 only variations) with 94 with no prices.
The variations message is “94 variations do not have prices. Variations (and their attributes) that do not have prices will not be shown in your store.”
Yet, all the 96 variations appear on that product page !Caches cleared, other browsers tried, no wordpress cache, cloudflare bypassed.
Thank you, John

Hi John,
1. you can select to only show child items of a specific category by using:parent="CATID"For or example:
[product_categories parent="57"]2. When you remove the price from a product are you clearing your cache after? Can you link to an example of this?

February 4, 2020 at 6:31 am #244293Hi Hannah,
so after 10 days with Cache Enabler disabled the problem hasn’t recurred, so it seems most probable that was the culprit.
It’s an odd glitch in the sense that it arose a few weeks ago and only affected one (fairly simple) page. We also use it on another Ascend based site without any apparent problem.
I may try a different cacheing plug in and see how it goes. In the meantime thanks as always for your help.
Phil
In forum: Virtue ThemeHello Guys, I’ve searched and tried everything I can to resolve these things without success,
I hope you can help me with them.
1/ I’ve got one product on http://www.eaparts.nz which has been assigned to a subcategory.. and appears in that subcategory ok.
However it also appears in the subcategory’s parent category as a product.
I just can’t figure out why it is doing this.
I have other wp/virtue sites where a product only appears in the actual (sub) category assigned to it.
(I have cleared cached and tried another browser)
2/ Regarding attributes and variations; I have 3 attributes with variations which all work ok, UNTIL I remove prices from the variations which are not currently in stock, relying on the clear advisory header at the top of the variations list (“Some variations do not have prices. Variations (and their attributes) that do not have prices will not be shown in your store.”)
But this is not the case, they all appear on the products page for user choice and return a “Sorry, this product is unavailable. Please choose a different combination.” when the no-price variations are chosen from the 3 attributes list.Thank you, John

Thanks a lot for that Hannah, all great except I can’t get the logo to go to a new width of 315px
Caches cleared, no wp cache and CDN bypassed and tried another browser. Can you see what I’ve done wrong please? (width set as 315 in Virtue settings).
Thank you, John
