If you’re adding your slides as background images then the image will take on the height and width settings of your slider (set in slider settings). Have you tried clearing your cache? Can you confirm the text layers are not hiding behind the image layers?

Hi Hannah,
Thank you for your help, that is very odd indeed. I have cleared the cache several times over the past day or so but that doesn’t seem to resolve the issue. No big deal though, I can live without this change.
Thank you again for your continued support!

So initially when I logged in I still could not see the read more. Then I removed this from your css:
a.kt-excerpt-readmore.more-link { display: none; }and after that I could see it. So then I re-added that css and I could still see it. So I believe this falls back on your caching. Have you tried clearing the cache for your whole website and adjusting your settings?

In forum: Ascend ThemeIn reply to: Intermittent appearance error
January 23, 2020 at 2:09 pm #243736The plug in is Cache Enabler. Because it is intermittent it may be hard to pin down I guess. I’ll try disabling the caching plugin and see what happens.
I should add that I had Cache Enabler operating for a while without a problem – the issue started maybe 6-8 weeks ago.
Perhaps you could leave this thread open and I’ll send a link when it recurs?
Thanks,
Phil

In forum: Ascend ThemeJanuary 23, 2020 at 9:56 am #243702I have an error which crops up every so often (every few days, up to a week), just on one particular page *Login to see link , and which started suddenly several weeks ago. The content shunts hard left and the menu is scrambled. It clears when I clear the cache (I have Cache Enabler plug in) and refresh the page, but the problem returns after a few days. It’s the same on other devices and browsers. I have some custom CSS to limit content width, the same on a few other pages too. I’m puzzled why it should just be one page – I can’t see anything amiss in WP page edit.
/*sets page width of CV*/
.page-id-988 #content {
max-width: 800px;
}Thanks!

January 21, 2020 at 12:15 pm #243559Hey,
So you seeing this on your same site? I get smooth animations on your site and in test sites on IOS firefox. Can you confirm you’ve cleared that cache after removing?
@media (max-width: 767px){ .wp-block-kadence-column[data-aos]:not(.aos-init) { transform:none!important; } }I just tested on two devices.

Hey Michael,
I’m seeing this in your css:.contentclass, .nav-tabs>li.active>a, .nav-tabs>li.active>a:hover, .nav-tabs>li.active>a:focus, .hrule_gradient:after { background: #f6c200 no-repeat center top; }It looks like that is overriding your newer css. Do you see that? Try removing it and clear your cache. Let me know if the issue remains.

January 20, 2020 at 11:45 am #243490however, if you close safari and then reopen it without closing the webpage, the overflow shows up (iPhone 6s)
I couldn’t recreate either, tested with IOS safari 13.3 and IOS Firefox 21.0
Can you confirm you are clearing your browser cache after you added the css?
I’m gonna test on a few more devices.
Ben
