Well I tried turning off the rocket loader feature and mirage lazy load from CloudFlare and purging the cache but nothing seems to help on other browsers…

Question, can you see the images on Chrome and not MS Edge like me?

    Hey,

I’m seeing an error that seems to be related to something called “rocket loader.” Seems to be a part of a plugin or a your host.

First thing I would do is clear your site’s cache to see if there are any changes.

Brilliant. Thanks for this, first class support, as ever!

I’ll keep and eye on the cache settings and do some digging.

    Thanks again,

    Hey,

Did you clear your site’s cache after changing the slider? Sounds like you may need to do that.

    Hi,

One of my sites has the issue that upgrading from 4.7.8 to 4.8.2 left the site with a blank page body between the header and footer.

    Ben suggested:

Based on what you are saying happened it actually sounds like some cache wasn’t cleared. Like you might have a minify plugin that wasn’t cleared when you updated. But with a link and login, I could learn more.

    For extra info:

Litespeed server, running php 7.2 and all other plugins updated just fine. We run the caching plugin Litespeed Cache and this was cleared (to best of my knowledge) before the customer updated.

    Thanks
    Steve

    Hello,

I’m not sure what is adding those buttons. Are all of your plugins updated? If so, have you tried testing for a plugin conflict by deactivating plugins one by one to see if the buttons go away when a certain plugin is OFF?

Be sure to clear your cache after deactivating each plugin.

Let me know if you find anything.

    Hey,
You are using wp-super-cache. are you aware that you need to clear that every time you make an update to see the changes you make?

Are you navigating to the super cache settings and clearing the cache?

I’m seeing the CSS take effect. be sure to clear your cache when editing your site, or disable it entirely until you’re site is complete.

    Hi,

    Thanks for answering!

    Brfkajen5.se

    Cache is cleared.

I want to change the font size of the text that I have entered in ”Misc Settings” ”Footer Copyright Text”. I have tried the suggestions I have found in your support forums.

Furthermore I have a blue or red button to the right (depends on wich css I activate). I want to remove that button, but I cannot figure out how.

    Hello,

Sounds like this could have to do with caching. Have you cleared your site’s cache after making the changes?

    Can you post a link?

    -Kevin

    #203688

I pushed out an update that should resolve this regardless of cache status, internet speed and odd browser behavior.

    Hey,

Yes, you should always clear the cache when you make edits to your site. This will ensure that the latest changes will always be present on your site.

I believe the plugin is supposed to add the button over the image. Can you link to where you’ve got the pin button showing so I can see?
I’m not sure of the difference between the save and pin functionality, I do not use pinterest.

After adding Ben’s code into your child theme’s function php file did you clear your cache?

    #203538

Hi Hannah, I’ve ‘delete cache and minified CSS’ and can now see the save button above images. Do I have to click clear cache and minify CSS every time I edit something? and when must I click the clear cache only and when the clear cache and minify CSS?

I actually wanted the Pin it button on the Images – What is the difference between Save button and Pin button?

    #203471

    Hey Felipe,
When I use the inspect tool on the page the slider is showing larger as you are setting it. Try clearing your cache, then let me know if the issue remains.

I’m looking at it in Safari on my Mac and I don’t see a difference. I emptied the browser cache but nope. You see the difference on your end?
