    Hi Ben,

My hosting provider finally resolved the problem by doing the following:

Changed PHP version from 7.0 to 7.2 and increased the settings on that version as much as I could and it went through, I also enabled opcache which should help with speeds.

    Thanks for all your help.

    Kind regards,
    Charlotte

What I meant by clear your cache was to clear the one on your site, not the browser. does that make a difference?

On my test site the selection shows all of the categories. I also suggest testing your plugins for a conflict by deactivating one by one to see if it works when a certain plugin is OFF.

Let me know if you find any.

    Hi Kevin,

First I created the PERU MAPS category and it was correctly shown in the category page list but not shown in the widget list. So
I cleared the Chrome cache but no changes happened. Then I created the second category MAPS – PERU with another slug. Once more it’s correctly shown in the Category list but not in the widget category list.
    So I wrote you.
I have made no variations to children theme at all and Pinnacle it’s updated to latest version 2.2.8

    Hello,

did you clear your site’s cache after adding the new categories? Also, what kind of changes have you made to the child theme? Do the categories appear in the list when you activate the parent theme?

    Hey,

this can be set in Theme Options> Portfolio Settings, with your “Portfolio Permalink Base.”

Change that to whatever you like, then navigate to Settings> Permalinks, and resave them.

    Also clear your cache.
Let me know if that works for you.

    Hi Anu,
I’m seeing Kevins CSS take effect. Have you tried clearing your cache?

Using chrome or really any browser you can right click and click “inspect” then click on the “console” tab to see all the errors your site lists some 71 errors on that page. Normally there would be none.

The first thing I would suggest doing to troubleshoot is deactivating all your plugins. expect what you need to run that page. So woocommerce, wpform.

Then go from there. Certainly for me to troubleshoot the cause of your errors I would need to start with turning off wp-rocket so I’m not seeing any cached version of the site and none of the javascript files are being loaded through it.

It also seems your server has content security settings that will not allow you to use lazy load so once you sort out the most of your issues and go to reactivate wp-rocket you need to make sure that lazy load is not active in your settings.

    Hello,

Something seems to be blocking the images from loading properly. Have you tried deactivating plugins one by one to see if the image displays in the lightbox when a certain plugin is OFF?

Be sure to clear your cache after deactivating each plugin.

    Hey,
If you need to verify that site and the code doesn’t output anything then you should place in your theme options > header and footer scripts. In the header scripts. DOn’t place anywhere else. And be sure to give it some time to come into effect. like a couple days for booking to clear their cache of your site.

If you have code that outputs something like an emebeded widget then you need to place that in the “custom html” widget in your sidebar.

    Hi!
Thank you for your fast reply!

I tested the shortcode before but now I cleared the browser cache, too. The clip is showed in the articel but overlaps with a pictures which is placed just in front of the clip in the text.

This is the text in the backend:

    @Ben
: I understand the difference between an inserted shortcode and iframe. I prefere a solution which is “well groomed” in the source code by the coding team. So I think the shortcode solution would be the best for me,… if it works. 😉
Best regards and have a nice Saturday!

    Hello,

It should work the same regardless of whether or not the post has a sidebar. I just tested on my site and I am able to embed a youtube video on a non sidebar post.

The post you linked to doesn’t seem to be using the shortcode. Try adding like this and let me know if it works properly for you:
    [kad_youtube url="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WsM6_QwSLf4"]

Be sure to clear your cache after adding the video shortcode.

You seem to be using W3 Total Cache, WP Fastest Cache and Autoptimize these are three plugins that do the same thing and would conflict with each other. Why have you installed three caching/minify plugins?

Firstly, you’re behind on updates. Can you get your site updated and clear your cache before we test any further?

Did you clear your cache after making the change? Unless I’m misunderstanding your goals, this page is showing correctly now:
    http://meadowcroft-dyeworks.com/crayon-box/

Sorry, I’m not sure I could explain more simply. There isn’t much to it. The shortcodes are initially selected with the “Virtue Shortcodes” button at the top of the editor. Then it’s a matter of selecting the amount of columns, and finally adding your content to the columns.

If you have any specific questions I’m happy to answer them, but it looks to me like you got it! 🙂
