    I have already done this. Just did it again. I am using Cloudflare.

    My active plugins include:
    All in One SEO Pack
    Black Studio TinyMCE Widget
    Google Analytics Dashboard for WP
    Jetpack by WordPress.com
    Kadence Custom Fonts
    Page Builder by SiteOrigin
    Really Simple SSL
    SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle
    WP Fastest Cache
    WP-Optimize

    Caches were cleared after plugins deactivated. Still seeing the issue. Any idea of a fix?

    Hello,

    I’m not seeing any errors here that would cause this:
    * Removed link

    First thing I would try is going through your active plugins and deactivate them one by one, seeing if the icon shows properly when a certain plugin is OFF.

    be sure to clear your cache when deactivating plugins.

    Let me know if you find anything.

    Hi Holger,
    I just tested your site from an iPhone 7 and had no issue opening the menu. Make sure you have cleared all your cache including your mobile cache. Let me know if the issue remains.

    1) Chrome seems to be fine. The issue is with FireFox.

    2) Yes, I cleared the cache multiple times but the issue remains. Any other idea?

    None of that worked so I cleared my cache and restarted everything. Now it works. I should have thought of that sooner…

    Hi Kevin,

    Here’s the link to my contact form. (https://www.academicenglishservices.com/contact/). The maths seems to work now, but the message stays on the contact form after sending it. Is that normal? And the webmail still doesn’t receive mails sent via the form, only my gmail.

    I reserved the permalink but the NOT FOUND error is still there. The pages they point to (just 2 as far as i can see) don’t exist, they are from old pages I deleted permanently some time ago but still come up. Could this be something to do with my cache? If so, how do I clean it in a way that I don’t lose other useful elements? I’ve never been sure about cleaning the cache, always a bit nervous I’ll lose something important.

    Hi,

    The site is ok when using Chrome but on IE11 or Edge some pages are not loading correctly.

    The issue came yesterday. It never happened before. I have reinstalled a backup version from 2 days ago but it did not help.

    I use Fastest Cache plugin.

    Hey,
    This means you have a javascript error, it’s possible it’s from a plugin or something in the cache. If you can send a login I can update you in the morning and resolve whatever is causing the javascript error.

    Google cache can take time to clear but it’s odd it ignored the meta description. So if that happens again I would guess something is being added into your head tag that is breaking the tag (a lot of facebook plugins for example have this issue). If you see this again post and we can see if you have a plugin breaking the head tag of your page.

    You have to name it with a new name to be able to clear the resized versions cache. Or wait a month so that all the resized versions are placed into another month date folder. Even then you should still use a new name.

    ok so your screen grab shows that the meta description wasn’t set and Google was pulling the content from the page. see the “ABOUT US” title. That would make sense because the slider has screen reader text for the preloader which is removed when the slider is loaded. In the end it was probably just a waiting game with Googles cache to get your added description to show in the search results.

    I cleared the cache and the same issue arises. What I assume is that if a portfolio is classified as both DESIGN and PHOTOGRAPHY once you navigate onto the dual categorized page it navigates through the unwanted Photography category instead of staying in the desired DESIGN category. I eliminated dual classification and we now can navigate back and next safely through the DESIGN category without any interference from PHOTOGRAPHY or VIDEO classified portfolios. This will work okay for us. Thank you!

    You have to clear your site cache, but also it can take a few days for facebook, twitter to update there cache of your site. Once you set the featured image for each page you have to give it some time.
