    Hi Gosia,

    Thanks for contacting Kadence Support.

I added the custom text using “woocommerce_before_add_to_cart_button” hook. It is working fine at my end. Check the screen recording for reference:https://share.zight.com/12uloqNR

I would love to help you. However, I would need more information from you. Can you please send us a video or screenshots of your issue?

We look forward to your response and wish you a wonderful day.

    Best Regards,
    Archita

Sometime between now & the last 1-2 months (when I last checked Lighthouse), a mysterious new HTTP request started being called externally on my website. I checked every other website I host/run on the same server, and despite having multiple other ones with the exact same plugins running the exact same versions/WP version, only this website in specific was having the issue.

I only had this to go off of: “moz-extension://6424c1ba-4269-44a9-aa2e-0bd9554b01ca/js/app.js”

I have never used Moz products/extensions/etc. in my life, and since it only appears on 1 website of the 1/2 dozen I manage, with 0 unique aspects, I couldn’t figure out wtf was causing it. Finally was able to track down the source of the external HTTP call, and it was the following script hidden at the end of the contact details in the footer:

    <script src=”moz-extension://6424c1ba-4269-44a9-aa2e-0bd9554b01ca/js/app.js” type=”text/javascript”></script>

I’ll attach pictures in the next reply privately, but I was able to remove it and everything is fine now.

    What I’m wondering though, is:

    1. Wtf was this? How do I determine the function of this random javascript? What was the purpose for it?

    2. How do I prevent something like this from happening again?

I’m paranoid now since I have no idea how this happened in the first place, and therefore no idea how to prevent it from happening again, nor what harm it has/potentially still could cause.

    Hi Kim,

Thanks for contacting Kadence support. We didn’t receive any similar reports.

I would love to help you. However, I would need more information from you. Can you please send us a video or screenshots of your issue?

Are you using any SEO plugins? Does this happen to the latest posts or older posts as well?

Would it be possible to share the website URL with us, so we can take a closer look at the issue? You can post using “set as private reply”.

We look forward to your response and wish you a wonderful day.

Hi guys, I made a simple contact form here: after filling in details, it sends and I get the message: “Submission Success, Thanks for getting in touch!”

I am using a plugin called WP Mail SMTP and when I send a test email, it confirms it is setup correct:,,Success!
Test HTML email was sent successfully! Please check your inbox to make sure it was delivered.”

I check domain with DMARC setup correct also

But for some reason the emails sent from contact form do not land in my inbox or junk/spam,..they are floating around somewhere.

I have no clue as to how I must trouble shoot this and I am hoping there is somebody here that might be willing to spend some time out of their day to point me in a helpful direction.

    Thanks in advance,..to everyone.

Hey there! We’re facing the same issue on our arm wrestling website. Our posts, pages, blocks, and contact entries aren’t showing up on the backend, although they’re working fine on the frontend. We also tried switching to another theme, and everything started displaying properly again.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? If so, how did you fix it? Any help would be much appreciated!

    Hi
I have just updated woocommerce to version 8.8.2 and I get this message now on my wordpress website:

Your theme (Virtue) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. Suggestions to fix this:

Update your theme to the latest version. If no update is available contact your theme author asking about compatibility with the current WooCommerce version.
If you copied over a template file to change something, then you will need to copy the new version of the template and apply your changes again.

Not sure how to deal with this.

    Thank you

    Hi @emotionecommerce-com,

    Thanks for contacting Kadence Support.

After a quick search in our logs, I have found that a feature request has been already made for this to be possible in the future: https://www.kadencewp.com/kadence-conversions/feature-requests/make-exit-intent-available-on-mobile/

You can login and add your vote. The more votes that a feature has gotten, the higher the chances it has to be added.

Please note that feature requests do not have an ETA of when they’ll be available.

Let us know if we can assist you further.

    Best Regards,
    Archita

I thought I recalled using the {field_#} tag previously in the Email Subject line. However, the tag does not seem to be updating in emails sent by the form. Is this a bug, or are the {field_#} tags not intended to work in the Email Subject?

    Hi There,

    Thanks for contacting Kadence Support.

There are a few service-based starter templates:

You can check all the pro and free starter templates here:https://www.kadencewp.com/kadence-theme/starter-templates/

You can also import any starter template to start with a website with prebuilt pages. If you want the starter page contents to be more tailored for your business, you can use Kadence AI:

    Hi Candice,

    Thank you for reaching out.

We have had users report a similar issue, and the cause was mostly attributed to their hosting server timing out due to not having memory or other resources.

When accessing the design library, can you please check if there is an error message in the console log, as shown in this screencast:
    https://share.zight.com/ApuPA0nv

If there is a 500 Server Error in the console log, which is mostly attributed to your hosting server timing out due to not having memory or other resources. We recommend that you contact your hosting provider to help with this:
    https://www.kadencewp.com/help-center/docs/kadence-theme/getting-500-error/

Kindly ask them to increase your PHP Configuration limit to the following:
    – the PHP memory limit set to 512MB
    – the max post size bigger or equal to 50MB
    – the WP-memory limit set to 256 MB
    – the max input vars 2500
    – and ideally the max execution time should be around 300

Also, please confirm from your hosting provider if they are allowing external cURL calls and that your PHP user has the write permissions in the wp-content folder (standard for WordPress installs).

Please let us know how this goes and if we can help you further.

    Cheers,
    Eze

    Hi Rudi,

Please try clicking the Sync Cloud icon at the top-right of the design library – https://share.zight.com/d5u2bzEo.

Additionally, try to flush your permalinks by going to Settings > Permalinks and clicking the Save Changes button without changing anything.

Also, please confirm from your hosting provider if they are allowing external cURL calls and that your PHP user has the write permissions in the wp-content folder (standard for WordPress installs).

If the problem continues to occur while accessing the design library, please check your browser console log for any errors (text that appears in red) take a screenshot of it and send it to us. This will help us to gather more information about the issue and provide a better solution.
Here’s our guide to doing this – https://www.kadencewp.com/kadence-theme/knowledge-base/troubleshooting/how-to-view-console-log-errors/.

In some cases, a third-party Plugin Conflict can also cause this issue. Please try to deactivate all the plugins temporarily except for the Kadence Blocks and check it again. Hi, Russell!

This topic has been marked as resolved.

If you are experiencing an issue, kindly open a new topic or submit a ticket here.

On the other hand, try opening the browser error console while you are trying to import a Starter Template.

A browser error console is a tool that displays information about JavaScript errors and other web page issues. Here are the general steps to access and use the browser error console:

    1. Open your web page in a web browser.
    2. Open the browser developer console. The console can often be accessed by right-clicking on the page and selecting “Inspect” or “Inspect Element” from the context menu, and then selecting the Console tab.
    3. Review the console for any errors or warnings. The errors listed may give you an idea of what’s causing website issues, such as a Javascript error or a network error, and help diagnose the problem.

Are you getting errors like Error 500 or 400 when importing these pages? These are typically server errors: https://www.kadencewp.com/kadence-theme/knowledge-base/troubleshooting/getting-500-error/.

The issue is usually caused by security settings or server limitations, like the memory limit or the max post size being too small.

If this is what you are seeing, and you are not familiar with these settings, you can contact your hosting provider to see if they can adjust the settings on your server to solve this issue.

You can also confirm your PHP settings with them.

    We recommend these settings:

    – the PHP memory limit set to 512MB
    – the max post size bigger or equal to 50MB
    – the WP-memory limit 256 MB
    – the max upload size 50 MB
    – the max input vars 2500
    – and ideally the max execution time should be around 300

Please let us know how it goes, we’ll be more than happy to help.

    Regards,
    Karla

    Hi there,

    Thank you for reaching out.

The field label cannot be used to call the field entry.

To make the dynamic subject field to show, kindly replace {subject} with the field_number, for example {field_2}.

The field number is determined by how many fields you have added to your form

Here is a screencast of how to achieve this:
    https://share.zight.com/p9uB6PG6

Here is a further guide on how to create a dynamic subject field:
    https://www.kadencewp.com/creating-a-contact-form-in-wordpress/

I hope this helps. Please let us know how we can help further.

When a user submits a contact form, there subject line simply says {Subject}. This seems odd, as I have configured the form to the best of the ability and in the most logical way.

Here are some screenshots showing how the form is configured.

Why would it be that when I check my emails, the messages have arrived but with no subject line?

    Hi @stanislav-peykov,

The 503 Service Unavailable error generally means that your server has run out of resources.

Please contact your host and tell them to increase your server limitations.

The following are the recommended values:

    – the PHP memory limit set to 512MB
    – the max post size bigger or equal to 50MB
    – the WP-memory limit 128/256 MB
    – the max upload size 50 MB
    – the max input vars 2500
    – and ideally the max execution time should be around 300

If the issue persists, can you please send us a copy of the full error log?

    Thanks,
    Chito

    Hi Linda,

We apologize for not getting back to you sooner.

Can you confirm if you have chosen the WooCommerce plugin for installation? Also, which AI starter template are you trying to import? When in your Dashboard -> Kadence -> Starter Templates, can you click on the Refresh Icon on the top right of the page to resync the cloud and see if this resolves the issue? Check the screenshot:https://share.zight.com/RBukLmL1

Can you check for Console Logged Errors whenever the Import either Fails? Please send us any error(s) you may receive.

Can you try clearing your Website and Browser Cache? You can Learn More Here. Can you also review all of the steps in this Troubleshooting article?

This could happen if your server needs more resources to achieve the goal. Below are the recommended values:

    • The PHP memory limit set to 512MB
    • the max post size bigger or equal to 50MB
    • the WP memory limit 128/256 MB
    • the max upload size 50 MB
    • the max input vars 2500
    • and ideally, the max execution time should be around 300.

You can contact your host and ask them to increase your server limitations or make sure they are using at least these values.

I hope this helps. Let us know if we can assist you further.

    Best Regards,
    Archita

    Hello

I’m just wondering if there’s a way to set the From Name in the email settings so it’s name field in the contact form? Thank you 🙂

    #287465

    Hi Chris,

Thanks for contacting the Kadence Support team.

At the moment, Kadence AI primarily operates in English. However, you can utilize Inline AI Context to prompt the AI to generate text in a different language. Unfortunately, there isn’t currently a way to guarantee that the entire AI Initial Content Prompt will generate content in a different language. As a result, you won’t be able to create an entire Starter Template utilizing a different language. However, this is something we intend to support in the future.

Here is a video where I used the Inline AI Context to write something in a different language for reference: https://share.zight.com/Bluq42DW.

I hope this information was helpful to you. Please let us know if this works for you or if we can further help.

    Best Regards,
    Archita

    Hi Jabran,

Can you enable the WP Rocket in Safe Mode?

WP Rocket will disable the following features when you enable the safe mode option.

Lazy loading of images, iframes, and video options will be disabled under the “Media > Lazy Load” section.
All CSS and JavaScript optimizations like minify, combine, critical CSS generation, remove unused CSS, defer JS, and delay JS will be disabled under the “File Optimizations” section.

The “Enable Content Delivery Network” option will be disabled under the “CDN” section.

Now you can turn on the settings one by one and check which option is causing the issue. Check the WP rocket troubleshooting article: https://docs.wp-rocket.me/article/106-my-site-is-broken#basic-troubleshooting

If you need further assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact us again and open a new ticket.

    Best regards,
    Archita
