500 errors (500, 502, 503, 504, etc…) are typically server errors:

Whenever you receive the error, can you check for Console Logged errors? https://www.kadencewp.com/kadence-theme/knowledge-base/troubleshooting/how-to-view-console-log-errors/

I would advise contacting your hosting provider to check why this happens. They should be able to see your website error log to isolate where the issue is coming from.

The issue might be caused by server limitations, like the memory limit or the max post size being too small.

My posts, pages, blocks and contact entries are not displaying on the backend but they’re working on the frontend.

Hi there,

Sorry to hear about that.

Have you tried to exclude the scripts navigation.min.js and navigation-lite.min.js from either the “Delay Javascript execution” or “Load JavaScript deferred” feature of WP Rocket?

It may also help to contact their support about the settings you can change or disable within their plugin to avoid this in the future because these files are required by the menu to function properly and if they are not being loaded properly into the website, it would indeed cause some unwanted behaviors.

Ah of course, I did have a look but it didn’t seem to find (the kind of design) what I was looking for (yet) with any of these experts.
I am a huge fan of The Events Calendar, I know it’s Kadence, and am very interested to know who designed/build it… If there is any expert that can help me build something like that, please contact me 🙂

I’ve found another solution. I will create a main Privacy Policy page and set it up in the WordPress privacy settings. On this page, I’ll include links leading to individual Privacy pages for each region. This way, I can implement step 4 (https://www.kadencewp.com/help-center/docs/kadence-blocks/adding-privacy-policy-link-to-kadence-form/) by adding {privacy_policy} placeholder in the “Field Label” field for the contact form.

Hi there

I used the Shopping starter theme for a Woocommerce site and then couldn’t delete it despite deactivating the template plugin. I’ve managed to work around most of it but I can’t get rid of the page title and background image (the one with the bracken fern frond). It’s stuck on the cart, checkout and contact pages. I’ve tried every way I can think of, including through the customer; through the edit page function, via Woocommerce, and through the archive post layout but nothing works. I’m reluctant to delete the pages and start again in case I lose the shop urls.

I’ve gone into the page layout customiser and deactivated the page title but the damn thing still shows up.

The first URL leads to a Page, while the second URL leads to an Archive. Archives refer to Blog/Tag Pages or Blog/Tag Category pages automatically generated by WordPress and cannot be directly edited in the Editor. However, Kadence provides Customizer Settings to customize your Archive Pages.

To access the Customizer, navigate to Posts/Pages Layout -> Archive Layout. Then, click on the Design Tab and locate the Archive Title Background setting. Here, you can modify the Color, apply a Gradient, or use an Image for the Archive Title Background. Here is a video for reference: https://share.zight.com/Jrum5k8o

If you want to use a different color for a specific Archive, you can use Custom CSS. If you need to apply a specific color to a particular archive page, please let us know the Page and Color you wish to use, and we will provide you with the CSS Code to get this done.

On our customers page, we want to add a list of people to contact there. We’ve made a custom post type for persons, so that editing personal data is easier to do. That Custom Post Type uses Advanced Custom Fields for adding E-Mail, Name, First Name fields (and some more, specific to the customer). But where I am stymied is: how can I embed a “list” of the entire roster on another page? I’ve styled a template item in Kadence Elements, and I’ve been able to use the custom fields in that. But what block can I use to use /that/ element to display all the posts from the custom post type embedded on a page?

Bonus Points for sorting by fields from the custom post type …

Hi There,

From what I understand, you have imported the starter template, and all your previous data/website is overwritten with a new template. And you want to restore your old website. Please let me know if I have misunderstood what you are trying to say.

I recommend you contact your hosting provider if they have a backup of your website, and ask them to restore it.

But it will remove your website data from the restore point to the current day.

Currently, this is not possible in Kadence.

What I can suggest as a workaround is to use the Kadence Tabs block and each tab, add iframe HTML code – here’s an example: https://share.zight.com/2NuWzEJK

Here’s a sample code:
<iframe src="https://chito.wppluginsupport.net/contact-2/" width="100%" height="900px"></iframe>

Change the link in the src attribute with the page you want to display.

I found the following reference from someone who contacted support on the matter: *Login to see link

Whilst adding the aforementioned code does allow some level of interactivity, it exhibits strange behaviour when interacting with the accordion without JS. For example, clicking on one of the title panes will close all of them. I imagine this is due to duplicate bindings.

Do you have any more recent information on how to achieve what I want?

Hi Hannah,

yes, I tried that. You are right, this again work around the issue, though it has styling and usuability issues for the user.

Actually, the support thread was about the Google Map not working on the Contact page. Then there was this workaround with temporarily deactivating the Google Map API key. This way the iframe solution is used instead of Virtue native gmap features. But this makes the Map box too wide and also misaligned. Anyway, yes, the workaround is better than no map at all.

The Contact page issue was fixed with

Fix: Issue with Google Maps.

of the Virtue Premium Theme.

However, this introduced a bug so that the gmap shortcode is not working anymore. Hence this new post here.

I think the introduced bug is easy to resolve by one of your developers.

The problem we have is that with the recent Virtue Premium Update to 4.10.12 the gmap shortcode of the theme is broken.

Have you received our mails? This is a serious issue to us because we use the gmap shortcode on various pages.

Hence, I am posting it here too:

The browser console shows these InvalidValueError errors:

setCenter: not a LatLng or LatLngLiteral with finite coordinates: in property lat: not a number

InvalidValueError: setPosition: not a LatLng or LatLngLiteral: in property lat: not a number

I think that maybe the position parameters are used as they are (strings) instead of being parsed with parseInt(string, 10). I guess the GMaps API does not except string as input for setCenter and setPosition anymore.

I guess that is something your dev team can easily fix.
