Can you clear your cache?

Hey,
The first thing I would test if you haven’t already is your plugins. Try going through your active plugins and turning them off one by one. Clear your cache when each plugin is off, and test to see if the scroll behavior returns to normal when a certain plugin is OFF.
Let me know if you find anything.

March 14, 2018 at 3:36 pm #183373ok, it all makes sense.
You have caching enabled by cpanel, not a bad thing but you can’t use caching and jetpacks mobile theme. You are using jetpacks mobile theme and I know it because that is what shows in your screen shot.
The mobile theme is only supposed to show on mobile but if your page is cached then it’s going to cache the output and send that output to the next visitor never checking if they are on mobile or not.
Seeing as jetpacks mobile theme is really bad anyway your simple solution is just to turn that off. You don’t need and really don’t want it 🙂

March 14, 2018 at 3:08 pm #183364So the reply from Siteground:
“I see two levels of SuperCacher both static and dynamic caching are enabled at the moment. You can see that in SuperCacher tool in cPanel.
Other than that, I do not see any plugins installed that would have caching features.”
At the moment the Work page in the menu isn’t displaying, link to screen-shot showing Console:

March 13, 2018 at 3:20 pm #183160You don’t need to deactivate jetpack just jetpacks photon which is the ‘Serve images from our servers’ I’ve seen it a lot where their servers stall out for no reason. A free CDN is a free CDN so you get what you pay for.
Let me know what shows in your console log.
It’s hard to guess at whats going on and since I haven’t seen this It makes it a trick to figure out.
Re-saving a page usually clears a cache but you said you don’t have any caching plugins so it truly doesn’t make sense.
Also what does your host have to say about this?

March 13, 2018 at 3:02 pm #183156I updated your page right now. Clear your cache and check it.
I had to change things like the post layout because your images were not large enough to work for the mosaic layout the demo uses but other wise it should all be updated to try and match your content.

In forum: Ascend ThemeMarch 13, 2018 at 12:44 pm #183104Hi guys,
I have a problem with the Product Carousel Tabs: Somehow (and sometimes) the shown products don’t match the settings.
Choose how many columns are in each carousel: 5
Bestsellers which are shown: 4 (and not centered)
Featured which are shown: 5 (and not centered)I’ve emptied the cache several times.

Hi Sandra,
Be sure that you are clearing your cache. You should see version 1.4.2 available both in your wp dashboard, and here: https://www.kadencewp.com/my-account/my-api-downloads/
Let me know if that still is not the case for you after clearing your cache.Hannah

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Theme issue- menus displaying incorrectly
March 7, 2018 at 9:12 am #182288I suggest you turn off w3 total cache then disable it.
Next, contact your hosting provider and ask them to add a redirect so all your traffic goes to https not http. This can be done in your htaccess file.
From what I can see you have the cache storing none https files. Then when someone goes to a page that is https it breaks because the cache is delivering none https files.
Once you have the redirect properly in place (this is better for SEO as well) then all the traffic will come in through https and you can then add back in the caching.

March 7, 2018 at 7:24 am #182274Good Morning,
This issue is continuing to happen. If i manually clear the caches each morning, it seems to temporarily fix the issue, only for it to occur the next day. Clearing the caches each day is not an ideal situation because customers are stilling seeing the website messed up outside of work hours. Can you please revisit this for us?Thank you!
In forum: Membership ForumsHi,
First apologies for the fact that I know just enough to be a danger to my sites.
A new site is painfully slow to load (often more than 10 seconds). I’ve read “need for speed”, edited and smushed photos, cleared out plugins, etc. I already had Fastest Cache installed but had not chosen the “combine css” option which Pingdom indicated was the problem. When I do select it, the site loads much faster, but all the fonts default to theme fonts. I’ve used Page Builder with a combination of SiteOrigin fonts and theme fonts.
I contacted the fastest cache developer who says it’s a syntax error in a css file. (He turned down my offer to pay for premium if it would fix the problem, so I trusted his answer.) I haven’t touched css, even in the Virtue theme settings, so am turning to you for help. Is it something I can fix myself? I’m trying to avoid having to change all the theme font options to get back to the site I prefer. Also – my hero widget font isn’t available in the theme.
Thanks in advance.
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeIn reply to: Ipad Pro and Full Width Rows with Parallax
Hi Ben,
It is working now. I have been clearing cache/varnish, but apparently there was another caching rule that I needed to clear that I didn’t know about until now. It has been cleared.
I will look into the issue with parallax and image text on a large screen desktop. Thanks!

March 5, 2018 at 9:59 am #181976Hmm, I”m not seeing it will do more testing, but right now it’s showing in mobile mode when I check Ipad 12.9.
I have to say it seems odd to use parallax on an image with text on it. On a large screen in desktop you would never see that text.
You are using a cache there too so make sure that is cleared.
Ben
