    Hi Brenda,
I’m not able to make this issue repeat on your site. Have you cleared your cache? Can you send a screenshot?
    Thanks!

    Did you clear your cache?

    Hi Hannah,

I’m having trouble getting the Kadence Slider Pro to appear on the home page. I’ve created a slider but it’s not appearing in the “Choose your Kadence Slider Here” section. I’ve cleared the browser cache and tested multiple browsers, i.e. Chrome, FireFox and IE.

Is there a different slider for the home page to try besides revolution slider and Kadence Slider Pro?

Thanks for your help, appreciate it..

Featured Image isn’t working After Upgrading both woocommerce and virtue theme. Can´t change the featured image on existing product, or asign in in new ones (placeholder image appears instead). When I try to add it the image browser window appears as normal , I can even select the image but it just doesn´t appear nor in the edit page of the product nor in the webstore thumbnails.

Tried regenerating teh thumbnails and deleting cache but nothing; I created a demo product so you can see the problem:

Can you help me fix this?

    Hey,
The theme already uses wp_footer hook. You don’t need to add another hook. And you shouldn’t run wp_footer more than once. I suggest you talk with your plugin author if you don’t know how to set up there plugin. You can tell them it’s not an issue with a missing hook.

I still see a plugin locking up your site scroll you should deactivate all your scroll plugins and clear your cache.

It’s not something I would worry about, the response will be cached once it can connect.

    Hello Mark,

Did you clear your cache after adding the item? Can you post a link so that I can take a look?

    Thanks,

Make sure you clear your plugin autoptimize and WP-Super-Cache, or even deactivate for a time of testing.

The first thing that I would try is to clear your cache. Try that, and if it still doesn’t work, can you share some screenshots of the issue? Everything looks good on my end, but I could be missing it. You can host images here: https://postimg.org

I have turned off the mobile slider and now using only home page slider only as I page cache my home page all the time.

    Thank you.

    #175470

    Hey,
You can’t page cache on your home page if you are going to load the slider based on mobile or desktop device. You have to turn page caching off. Else the page cache will just return the last cached slider instead of seeing what type of device is requesting the site and outputting the slider for that device.

If you are going to page cache the home page then you need to use just one slider that works for all screen sizes.

What cache plugin would you recommend using?

I like wp rocket the most, but it’s not free.

They are all fairly similar and a lot has to do with easy of setup. I just stongly recommend you only use one.

Yep, you’re right. I have now added the homepage to the exclusion list in everyway possible, cleared the cache and it is still showing it is cached. I will contact tech support.

    #175462

Hmm I just tested your Dynamic Cache Status Checker for your home page in the plugin settings and it’s saying cached so your issue might be as simple as the plugin isn’t working and excluding that url.

what phone, what browser? and because I’m testing on different mobile devices right not have to confirm that you cleared that cache on your phone’s browser.

Yes, I did it in both. The siteground hosting service says I should run theirs and I was already using W3 total cache. The hosting said to run both but not sure it is correct.

The sliders are still not displaying correctly even with my homepage not cached. The mobile slider shows up on the desktop and visa versa.

this still means there is caching. It looks like there are two caching plugins running. (you shouldn’t ever run two caching plugins). Did you make sure to not cache your front page in both?

    #175449

Yeah, I understand that, but the rectangular format for the desktop does not look good on mobile and the 4:3 format for mobile does not look good on the desktop. Was looking for an inbetween.

The sliders are still not displaying correctly even with my homepage not cached. The mobile slider shows up on the desktop and visa versa.
