    The following did not work for me:

    [carousel type=cat-products orderby= date columns = 5 cat=batting-cages]

    I have this in a “Visual Editor” widget. On my dev site it shows shows up as a blank line. I have a category of “Batting Cages.” Not sure what is wrong here. I purged cache too.

    Thanks. /Bob

    Hi, I am having an issue on my website when the index page first loads(clear cache before testing), the ‘Featured’ section produces a glitch whereby the items will become enlarged for about 3 – 5 seconds before restoring to its normal state.

    I have tried another 2 themes and the glitch was not present.

    Image of the issue:

    Please kindly advice. Thanks

    Try adding !important to the CSS:

    .home .paszone_container {
        display: none !important;
    }

    Be sure you’re clearing the cache after adding it.

    Hey Hannah,

    I actually came back and posted here before your reply, to say that I had resolved it by clearing the cache. I guess I forgot to save it when I updated it to resolved.

    The place I had to clear the cache was within Godaddy.

    Thanks.

    Hey Lindsay,
    I’m not seeing this. What browser are you using? Have you tried clearing your cache?

    Have you tried deactivating plugins to see if there is any difference? It seems that you may have one or two conflicting with proper theme functionality.

    If you haven’t already, try deactivating your plugins to see if the issues persist.

    Be sure that you clear your cache after deactivating to be sure that the changes are taking effect.

    Let me know if that helps.

    Hey Wendy,
    Did you paste the shortcode into the css-classes field in the menu item dropdown from Appearance > Menus? Was this working previously? Have you tried clearing your cache?

    Hey Nancy,
    Have you set the Contact Form Email from Theme Options > Misc Settings? Have you cleared your cache after doing so?

    See above I did, copied and pasted, and I cleared the browser cache, this is all odd. I don’t see a reason to follow up on why and call it resolved since things are workign as they were before the update.

    I dont want the nav to be cached if possible

    Then turn off all browser caching. The nav is just HTML. It’s built when the page loads through php. Since it’s cached in the browser the page isn’t loading through php.

    The theme has not input or effect on this.

    Yes cleared cached and flushed cache on server.
    Only see it on my 13inch macbook screen not on my 27 inch mac
    Still a problem

    #143352

    ok I just flushed the server cache with Siteground. So I really don’t know what to do here. So now I will try saving the page using the feature template and hiding that header image and this time using a kadence pro slider. It is responsive, but they’ve make the text so wide in the art that I think it cannot keep up with the screen widht. Take a look and you will see all of the manager, regional mangager stuff getting cut off as the page size gets smaller.

    I’m not seeing the image behave as a cover. Have you cleared your cache after making this change?

    -Kevin

    #143318

    What could be the reason?

    Your host, hosting makes the biggest change way more than any minifying.

    You can not add css to the theme style.css file and you shouldn’t.

    If you are using a child theme then you can add css to your child theme style.css file. But note that you would have to clear all browser and site cache for any changes to show.

    Also, you would have to make your css more specific if you’re trying to override something you can set in your theme options.

    The css output is
    – parent theme
    – child theme
    – theme options
    – custom css box.

    So in some cases, if you’re tyring to override the theme options you just need to make your css more specific.

    Hi Robert,
    I would recommend using a caching plugin such as WP Rocket or W3 Total cache.

    F5 does not really refresh! I looked at “more tools” and cleared all history, cookies, all cache images and files (about 500meg). Took awhile, but when I reloaded it is now working. So if F5 doesn’t really refresh, what does get rid of cache?
