    Hi Sam,
Did you clear your cache after adding the css?

    Hi Mike,

    1. You can remove the “no menu assigned” by adding this to your custom css box in Theme Options > Custom CSS:

    li.kt-nomenu {
        display: none;
    }

The home/about text is your breadcrumbs. You can disable from Theme Options > Breadcrumbs.

    2. You can set Show the page title by default to Off in Theme Options > Page Title. Then from Theme Options > Home Slider you can select Page Title from the Choose a Home Image Slider dropdown.

    3. Try clearing your cache? Can you see the changes then?

    4. I don’t know of many to use the live composer plugin with out themes. We truly love and recommend page builder, but you’re welcome to give the live composer a go if that’s what you like. Definitely let us know if you come across any issues!

    Dear Ben,

I switched off all the plugins one by one and cleared the cache, but nothing seemed to work. But now i was thinking, last year there was also something with the scrolling on my site and you then gave me a piece of code, and that worked. Now i deleted the code and now you see a differnce, of course. But now, if you click further then it hasn’t that strange scroll movement.

this was the code, (can not send it)

You can see it if you click here and then you click on “lees verder” and then click on “u hier”.

I hope you can do something with it

Yes. I disable Cache when debugging, but cleared anyway. Same result.

    Hey Scott,
So in your widget settings you have set the image to align on the right, correct? After saving have you tried clearing your cache?

Sorry to say, Ben, but problem not solved. I even emptied all caches and removed all stored page data and then checked the post again to be sure it hadn’t budged. But still the same problem. I’ve got to believe now it is WordPress 4.7.2 upgrade that’s the problem. Should I go back and restore my site prior to that revision to see if the problem exists in that time frame?

I think it was a cache thing. Seems to be all set.

    #132915

After the last time I cleared the cache I noticed that things are aligning better, but when I log in I can see the icons where when I am logged out I cannot.
I was unable to paste the screenshot into this message, but that appears to be the only difference (seeing the icons when logged in). Thanks!

Thanks for your help Kevin. I ensured that WordPress, the plugins and Virtue are all up to date. Then I began deactivating plugins one-by-one as you suggested, saving Page builder and Kadence Slider for last but the issue could not be resolved.

When I began reactivating the plugins I started with Page builder, then Kadence Slider and at that point I could see the layout correctly when logged into WordPress, but sadly the homepage is scattered when I visit http://jjcdev.net/sfwco/ after clearing the cache when I am not logged in.

The entire site is built with Page Builder so I cannot do without that plugin, and even when I am not logged in the rest of the site looks fine (http://www.jjcdev.net/sfwco/conservation-programs/ for example) so it is just the homepage that is a problem.

Is there anything else I can do to resolve the issue? I hate to rebuild the site if it is not necessary, but I am willing to do it if that’s what it takes.

    Thanks again Kevin!

As for the new issue, I would first begin testing your plugins. Try going through each of your active plugins and deactivate them one by one, checking the issue and clearing the cache after each plugin is deactivated.

Also be sure that you’re completely up to date on your WordPress install as well as any plugins and themes.

Let me know what you find!

    Hello,

Almost finishing the website (it will be http://www.emporiograodeouro.com.br as soon as I fix this problem), but there is a bug/problem that I don’t know if I have to ask you guys, the filter plugin or the mega menu plugin.

is not easy to describe, so I’ll give you an example: when you go on the secondary menu -> “alimentos e bebidas” -> “Temperos” -> “Óleos e Gorduras” , it brings you a categories result that has 3 pages. The 1st page is fine, but if you go to the 2nd page of the results, at first it returns a blank page, and the results are only shown if you press the F5 key.

Any ideas what could be causing it? I am already using a Cache plugin, but didn’t solve the problem.

    Thank you very much,
    Felippe

I cleared the cache and now it’s working!

    Thank you!

    Hey Juan,

I just tested the flex slider on my site and it’s displaying 5 slides just fine. Did you add a new slide to an existing slider? If so, you may need to clear your cache in order to see the change.

    Did you try this?

    -Kevin

While testing the site further I discovered a much more urgent issue. As I was working on the site everything looked fine, but when I cleared my cache and visited the URL ( http://www.jjcdev.net/sfwco/) to see it as a new visitor would, several widgets are not working on the homepage. Besides the icon flip boxes it should have a homepage slider, a split content widget and a carousel widget, but only the flip boxes display if I visit the page with a clean cache. If I enter the admin pages, make changes and reload the pages while logged in I can see the widgets again, but if I log out, clear the cache and then visit the page they disappear again. Can you tell me how I can fix this? Thank you.

    #132817

    Hey Rick,
From my understanding you just need to turn off your page caching for your front page. You can do this from within the w3 total cache settings.

And when i am disconnecting from wordpress

This means your seeing an uncached version of your site while logged in and logged out you see the cached version. You need to make sure to clear your caching and adjust your caching settings to best match your server

    Hello,

In fact there is a matter. I enter the key in the theme settings and when i click for seeing my website it is working. But when i am disconnecting from the dashbord wordpress and i visit my website like anybody, it doesn’t work.

I also have a matter know with my kadence slider. I don’t understand, it worked correctly out and now also when i am disconnecting from the dashbord, all the settings are unfonctionnal.

I add W3 Total cache plugin. Maybe there is a link between my problem and my new pluggin?

In fact, in HOME SLIDER, i have choosen KADENCE SLIDER PRO, when i have selected the name of the kadence slider. But i create two sliders, one for computer and another for mobile terminal.
So in HOME MOBILE SLIDER, i have choosen SHOW ANOTHER SLIDER FOR MOBILE (for tablet too) and i have selected the second slider that i created for mobile terminal.
When i preview the changes, it’s working. And when i am disconnecting from wordpress, and i’m going to my website like anybody with my computer, the kadence slider displayed is mobile version. When i’m going to my website like anybody with my mobile, it’s also mobile slider version displayed.

So i tried something, i edit my computer vesion slider and add a slide for seeing if the changes will be take account. I had 2 slides and gone to 3 slides.
I saved changes, but it doesn’t work yet. We have already the mobile version and only two slides instead of 3 slides.

Could you help me to fix the matter please ?

    Thank you
