I am viewing from Chrome and am seeing the slider work fine. Have you tried clearing your cache?

Thats the latest, it’s possible your server is just showing some cached results.

When you test are you deleting the autoptimize cache?

    Ben,

I’ve cleared my browser cache multiple times, tried on 3 different browsers, one of which I’ve never visited the site with, and the problem still persists. The seps, portfolio, and shop pages still do not show the backing as it should.

The htaccess file references were simply an offer to provide you with anything you might need in order to correctly assess what the problem might be. The only thing I’ve changed in it was adding Gzip compression, Etags, and Expire dates. However, my WP All in One Security plugin has added quite a bit. I tried to include it in a reply to you but your security plugin won’t let it happen…even if I use the code tags.

Sort of at a loss at the moment. Any thoughts?

    Best,
    Ben

    Hi Ben,

Thank you for this. I added your styles but this has only styled the right menu. The left seems unchanged. (emptied cache too just in case)
Did I need to include Hannah’s code too?

Many thanks for your help, really appreciated!

Yes, see to me it loads super fast on all browsers, and even GtMetrix showed 3 second load time, and yet still I got F’s on images and the above issue, as well as from Google Page Speed, though the last check game me an 80/100 on there, since I have compressed a lot of images.

Much better on your Pingdom Tool!

Yes I did minify on W3 Total Cache, but I did not choose combine, can you check my settings, here they are:

    Minify

In case you can’t see image well, here are the settings

    ***For JS minify settings:

I have Minify selected OR should I choose COMBINE ONLY?

    ***For HTML minify settings:

I have selected: Enable AND Inline CSS Minification AND Inline JS Inline

    ***For CSS minify settings:

I have Minify selected OR should I choose COMBINE ONLY?

    Thanks

I am so sick of Speed Optimization, I guess a site that loads in 3 seconds still gets a D from Google PageSpeed and C or D GTMetrix and YSlow

I have W3 Total Cache enabled, which is good, but…

Okay, so my main issue remains images, I am using Virtue with Woo, and of course I have tons of Featured Images On The Site, and I also use images for sales pages within product posts. The plugin WPSmush has compressed some, but it’s not enough, as I am getting an F for Optimize images on all Speed Checkers tested, including Google

So what do we do about this?

If make all images 90 x 128 as GTMetrix and Google PageSpeed suggest, is that not too small for the featured images in product display?

The theme or Woo, not sure which I believe suggests a minimum of 500px???

Are there any solutions to this?

    Hi Ben,

I have deactivated and deleted Autoptimize and then cleared all caches using W3 Optimize.

    Hi Hannah,

I have used Chrome and Firefox from home and work and Safari from my phone (also cleared caches/browser data). I have deactivated all plugins but it did not resolve the issue, the sliders were not displaying.

    Hey Elaine,
Glad you got the slider working. I’m not seeing extra space between the nav bar and the slider. What browser are you using? Try clearing your cache.

Hi, My front page is stuck with Pinnacle theme.
I have already deleted my “coming soon” notice page, which was set as front page previously (didn’t use any plugin).
when i change the front page to another page when my site is ready, the “coming soon” page is still showing as front page!
i tried deleting cache and everything and then i found out it’s just stuck with the theme.
if I change theme, then the proper front page is displayed, but when i switch back to Pinnacle, the “coming soon” notice page is back!! I even reinstalled my Pinnacle Premium and tried it on Pinnacle Free as well, same thing!
    please help!

    Kevin,

I’ve just checked those settings on multiple pages showing this behavior and they’re all set on default. The color is set to white. I see how you would question those settings but this would not explain the odd behavior of the semi-transparent white bar appearing intermittently on the same page without refreshing.

I’ve also tried going in and deactivating my plugins one by one to no avail.

I am using Autoptimize and setting it to inline my CSS. However, when I deactivated it, cleared my browser cache and reloaded a page, it had no affect. Is there a chance I’m missing something here?

Could it be an htaccess issue? I’ve recently added gzip compression, expires caching and mod_rewrites. Sorry if this is overkill. Just trying to cover as much ground as possible in the shortest amount of time. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks again,
    Ben

    Hi,

I have deaktivated the jquery-update, but it dont´t help. I checked the site in different browsers and cleaned up the cache.
No latest post or other things in “Home Layout” still not show on frontpage.

Could it be anything with the startpage? For exampel template: Pagebulder, Landingpage Standard etc… i use standard and have two Pagebulder sektion with Widget:
    Revolution slider and SiteOrigin Headline.

Sorry, I tried it just now using Safari and the effect works. Any ideas why it won’t work in Chrome having cleared the cache?

Yes, I use WP Super Cache and clear it everytime I change anything. But I could not get it to work, hmmm very strange.

    WP 4.6.1
Pinnacle 1.8.2 (API ok, checked under my Licens Key on your site)
    All my plugins uppdated
    Supercache Cleared (lots of times)

i didn´t know that i could use the Theme on more sites, but when I try to use Pinnacle again on the first site I changee it from so will everything work correct.

Hi, Im having to use page builder as instructed for making parallax pages with Virtue. The parallax affect was working and then it stopped working overnight for no reason, made no changes/updates. Cleared cache and tried some other things to get it working again. This seems like it must be happening to others. I obviously don’t want the parallax to stop working on the site, at random, as it would make it look really bad.

    Hi Tracy,
I’m not seeing the css in your code. Are you pasting it in your custom css box in Theme Options > Advanced Settings? Have you tried clearing your cache?
