    Hi Hannah,

    I tried putting in the !important and in unfortunately did nothing, I did clear the cache on my browser too. Any other thoughts on how I can make this work?

    Thanks!

    Hey Ivan,
    Are you referring to the “Free Worldwide Delivery” text? I can see it fine. Have you tried clearing your cache?

    Her CSS should work. I just tested it and the changes take effect within my browser.
    If you just ad more attributes to the CSS she gave you, you should be able to style those blog titles however you want.

    .home h2.entry-title {
        font-size: 30px;
        color: red;
        font-weight: 600;
    }

    Just change the font size and color to whatever your application demands, and ad whatever styling attributes you see fit.

    And the effects may not be visible due to a caching issue. Did you clear your cache after adding the CSS?

    Tested from Amsterdam, Netherlands on February 1 at 18:39:41
    Page size
    2.1MB
    Load time

    Perf. grade

    Your website is slower than 94% of all tested websites

    I will try your cache suggestion…loading slower than 94% which makes sense.

    Hey guys,
    You can test your page speed here- http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/
    I would suggest a caching plugin. We like WP Rocket or W3 Total Cache. Compressing your images can also make a huge difference.
    Let me know if the response time doesn’t change.
    Raphael could you post a link to your site?

    Hey,
    I am seeing your page as fullwidth. Have you tried clearing your cache? What browser are you using? If some of your options have disappeared within the backend you may want to deactivate plugins to test if any are conflicting. Also make sure you are up to date with the theme, your plugins, and wordpress.

    Hey ML,
    Are you using the latest version of the theme (3.4.5)? Make sure all your plugins are up to date as well. After doing this clear your cache. Let me know if the issue remains.

    Hello Ben and Hannah,

    I’ve contacted my host again and it looks like the problem is solved at the moment!
    All I’ve done was to change the setting in W3 Total. There was an error message when I enabled the minify, so that was disabled and the page cache setting was changed from disk: Enhanced to APC. After that, my site got super fast!

    Thank you so much for the time and patience you have! (I don’t know how many forum topics from the past that helped me.)
    I’ll donate through the link you posted in “support policy”.

    Hey,
    Have you tried clearing your cache? Is this the only thing that isn’t saving? It could be your php memory needs to be increased. Your host should be able to help you if that’s the case.

    Hi Hannah,

    I does look correct with Chrome, but it does not look right with Safari 9 (even after I cleared the cache). I took a screenshot, but I don’t see how to post an attachment here.

    Thanks!

    Hi James,
    I am seeing your breadcrumbs inline as they should be. What browser are you using? Have you tried clearing your cache?

    Are you using caching? If so every single time you update anything you have to clear your cache.

    Can you tell me what plugins your using?

    Hi Hannah,

    I deactivated some of my plugins and they’re still showing the same, I am using the following plugins for this specific website:

    -Askismet
    -Black Studio TinyMCE Widget
    -Contact Form 7
    -Page Builder by SiteOrigin
    -Slider Revolution
    -WP Super Cache

    I’m still having problems with the “feature d projects” area being squished on the main page (please refer to screenshot: http://snag.gy/3MXZq.jpg). Notice that the featured projects section is squished so I’m not sure how to fix that.

    Please advise.

    Thanks,
    Dan.

    The iOS Safari page link used for testing directed to a cached http page and not the https as was used with other browsers. This exposed a 301 redirect that managed to get deleted in the htaccess file. live and learn…

    Hello Hannah and Ben,
    I’ve done everything that was suggested. Images are optimised, using W3 Cache and enabled page and browser caching.

    I contacted my hosting company and I increased the memory limit to 256MB. Not much changed regarding the speed.
    They say it’s not a problem of a server.

    I am totally at a loss!
    Could you kindly look at my page? I send temp login via email…

    Hey,
    Woocommerce and wordpress need those ajax items to run. Those items can’t be cached else the site wouldn’t work.

    I don’t know what the first item you posted is? Plugin? Have you tried deactivating?

    Try rebuilding your minify cache. Are you seeing the error on your front end?

    1. // thanks. I disabled the cache but, didn’t actually clear the cache … so I just reactivated, deleted the cache, and deactivated – and just to be sure deleted the plugin for now ..

    2. // here is one sample product in my store that has a sale price . http://item-site.com/product/suncast-ssw1200-mocha-resin-wicker-22-gallon-storage-seat/

    3. // i have basically the plugins that came with the theme (sliders) and paid plugins that fetch type of Walmart Amazon or Ebay products directly using their API, or fetch content from youtube. In addition to those, i do have a few free plugins activated, like social sharing, or feature image setting, etc – nothing to reddit.

    Just to be sure we are talking the same site http://Item-Site.com // I also fetched more products that had sale prices from Amazon
    http://item-site.com/product/keter-plastic-deck-storage-container-box-outdoor-patio-garden-furniture-110-gal-brown/
    http://item-site.com/product/mr-bar-b-q-94001x-18-piece-stainless-steel-barbecue-set-with-storage-case/
    etc

    However – using the identical home layout and settings on this site: http://corydonclock.com/ the slider does appear and work.

    Thanks
    HART
