    Hi there,

    Thank you for writing.

Kindly adjust the Header Main Row’s Min Height to a lower value.
    https://prnt.sc/7RVdisWXjCIt

Currently, it’s set to have 225px height.
    https://share.getcloudapp.com/d5un469n

If changes don’t reflect in the front-end, purge the cache via Litespeed as well as Cloudflare CDN.

Let us know how it goes.

    Kind regards,
    Chito

    Hi there,

I changed the color of a link within an info box (part of an Kadence elements I used to make a custom header for one of my posts) through some custom CSS. Works like a charm when still inside the customizer, but it doesn’t show on the actual live site:

(I cleared both the browser cache and hosting cache, and tried multiple browsers.)

    Here’s the page:

Any ideas about what I can do to resolve this? 🙂

I’ve tried to replicate the issue on my test site, but, I wasn’t able to. Here, please watch: https://share.getcloudapp.com/YEuWgN4x

    Hi, Siamak!

I also sent a response to your other topic:
“Just to confirm, were you selecting “Kadence Slider Pro” for the home image slider options? Additionally, selecting the correct sliders for each? I tested it on my website but they’re working – https://share.getcloudapp.com/xQuwBe87.

If they’re still not showing and you have a website cache active, please purge it to make sure that your pages will show the latest changes you did. You may refer to number 2 in this post – https://www.kadencewp.com/blog/how-to-troubleshoot-your-website/.”

Please could you confirm if you’ve double-checked the settings and if you have done the initial troubleshooting steps?

Regarding the error on the console log:

Did you recently migrate/transfer your website or change your domain? The font files are being called from “bigevs.com” but your website URL is now “bigevsmarketing.com”. Browsers will block loading the resources that are being called from a different domain. In your case, those are the font files. I am not too sure if this is directly a cause of the slider but it would also be good to fix the issue.

I believe you have loaded the Google Fonts locally. To check that, go to Theme Options > Misc Settings. Then, turn off the “Load Google Fonts Locally” option temporarily – https://share.getcloudapp.com/Z4uDbPbJ. If you have a third-party plugin for optimization and cache, purge them after saving the changes.

Then, enable the loading of Google fonts locally again, save changes, and purge the cache. See if the errors will still happen.

I hope this helps and let us know if we can assist you further.

    Regards,
    Karla

    Hi everyone,

we get a somewhat mysterious error using the kadence slider. Every once in a while (let’s say every 30 page loads), we get a “Failed to load resource: net::ERR_CACHE_OPERATION_NOT_SUPPORTED” on the mp4-file, which we use in the kadence slider. This has at least happened in Chrome and Edge, but as you might guess from my previous statement, this not reliably reproducible. If it does happen, and we reload the page, the error does not occur again.

Any hint where this might come from would be very much appreciated.

    Many thanks and kind regards
    Robin

    Hi, Siamak!

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Just to confirm, were you selecting “Kadence Slider Pro” for the home image slider options? Additionally, selecting the correct sliders for each? I tested it on my website but they’re working – https://share.getcloudapp.com/xQuwBe87.

If they’re still not showing and you have a website cache active, please purge it to make sure that your pages will show the latest changes you did. You may refer to number 2 in this post – https://www.kadencewp.com/blog/how-to-troubleshoot-your-website/.

Extra question: What are the common practices to create the mobile slider? Font sizes, positions, etc.

The Kadence Slider will automatically adjust the layers inside for mobile views. The responsive options are quite limited but what I could recommend is not adding too many texts inside each slide and using enough line height for them.

For positions, make sure that the text layers are not too close to each other.

I hope this helps and let us know if we can assist you further.

    Kind Regards,
    Karla

Adding the class “toc-ignore” works like a champ. I didn’t see it take effect in the editor,
but the headlines are hidden in the preview and when published (after clearing the cache).

    Thanks for this!

    Hello Hannah,

Thanks for your reply. I had to disable mode switcher temporarily until I fix the problem.

Tidio developers already did all the checkups and found that there is a problem. They confirmed problem exists and there is no matter what browser is used or if cache is cleared.

There is a conflict confirmed by them and they sent solution, I just don’t know how to implement it.

    Hi Nikola,
Thanks for reaching out! I’m actually not seeing the white background as your screenshots show. What browser are you working in? Have you cleared your cache?

    Kindly,

    Hi Zach,

    Thanks for your reply.

I’ve checked on my mobile device and I can see that the icon list block (2 columns) are centered in mobile. Here, please have a look: https://share.getcloudapp.com/12uLmBbr

Have you tried to clear the cache? If not, I recommend you to do so. To know more about clearing the cache, please refer to our guide here: https://www.kadencewp.com/kadence-theme/knowledge-base/troubleshooting/clearing-your-website-cache/

As for what Hanna mentioned about CSS, you can add a Custom CSS code by going to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS. But for now, please try clearing the cache first.

If the issue still persists, please send us the URL of the site so we can inspect further. You can send the URL privately by ticking the Set as private reply option when you submit your reply.

    Hey Gabi,
Hope you enjoyed your weekend! Try settings “Pages” to “Translatable use translation if available or fallback to default language”. Be sure to clear your cache. Let me know if this works for you!

    Kindly,

Hi, yes. Same as the username. That’s strange. I’ve cleared the cache and I’m still getting the old color when viewing individual blog posts. See the attached screenshot.

Is there a specific place this color is pulled from in the settings? I also tested switching the color pallet to my dark settings and it’s also discolored.

    Hi Justin,

Thanks for getting in touch. Is the link to your website the same one as your username? I checked this link using my iPhone 13 mini’s Chrome browser. It looks like the header color is the same for both the site pages and the blog posts.

Can you try doing the steps listed here on how to clear cache on an iPhone?

Please let us know how it goes, we’ll be more than happy to continue helping until you get your desired result.

    Best regards,
    Teejay.
