    All done and put updated php.ini back in webroot directory, no change. Put php.ini in wp_admin directory, no change. A wp blogger who had go daddy had success changing the name from php.ini to php5.ini in the wp_admin (I asked godaddy about this and they were of no help) I did put a file in wp_admin renamed php5.ini, no joy, and this only made the site load more slowly, so I removed it. It appears that when users try to approach this from the htaccess or wpconfig they have problems with their site crashing and I really don’t want to go there.

    I’ll keep checking blogs for info, or try to have yet a fourth conversation with go daddy, but the bottom line is for now I’ll have to let some plugins go as I started having these problems when I added more plugins… Google Analytics by Yoast, Pagebuilder, BlackStudio TinyMCE Widget and W3 Total Cache. Then there’s the issue of godaddy, which if it is so difficult to update these settings using their configuration, I will seriously consider moving to another host.

    What browser do you see it as invisible? What version? Can you be sure to clear you cache in the site?

    If you make the slide auto and the row full stretched you still have space on either side?

    This would be much easier if i could see even one of the things your seeing so I’m install the exact version of the browser your using and see if I see what your seeing.

    Hello,
    1. You can remove the slider in mobile by going to theme options > mobile slider. Turn the mobile slider feature on and select “none” for the choose a slider for mobile option.
    2. To remove the page title change your css to this:

    .hometitle {
display: none;
}

    I’m not seeing an excerpt in mobile on your carousel. The css you provided above should work for that. Try clearing your cache.

    Could that be due to the caching, that it only works if you do a full reload of the page?
    … probably not. I just emptied the cache after I was on the page and clicking the link fails. Seems like I have to force a reload or come from another page to have it work…

    Two things.

    1. You need to check what your php settings are, This is not your server stats just your php settings. If you have a low php max memory that is cause things to fail while trying to update. (you can contact your server and ask them to change the php setting to have a higher max memory.)

    2. wp super cache. This plugin requires a lot to cache clearing. You have to make sure to delete the cache after every save.

    I hitt EMPTY ALL CACHES on w3 cachinh plugin, i refreshed my browsers few times too, don’t know other methods.

    All this happens only to the bottom slider and the only difference is that the bottom one is placed via pagebuilder.

    … another strange thing: after your last CSS, only in Chrome, the “To the Top” arrow hides under the revolution slider.

    I started a new project at tweakapix.com and i’m starting with the same problem as i had with o-zen – the background of the scrollbar isn’t hiding. Now, what CSS should i try here, because i’m a bit confused by the many versions i tryed above ?!?

    Hi Ben,

    The last thing i did was to press ‘live preview’ when seeing how the paid theme would look like. There were no error messages. I however, did delete the cache previous to that and updated 3 plugins.

    Its working fine now.

    I havent updated the theme yet, hopefully today.

    My homepage won’t update with new content. It appears to be stuck in a old version (IIRC, this was from when I still had Virtue Free).

    If you move your mouse in the area, you’ll notice there’s a blank icon-box (left side of white content area) that will highlight. So there’s SOME content, it’s just old, and not what I currently have (I just have some sample text).

    If I switch themes, the text I have there shows. I tried deleting/recreating the homepage, disabling plugins (I’m not using any cache plugins), etc to no avail.

    All other pages work as expected.

    EDIT: I just updated to 2.7.5. I did notice the problem AFTER I updated, but not sure if this actually had anything to do with it.

    Did you see any error? What was the last thing you did?

    Also your using wp-super cache. If you updated and didn’t delete the current cache in the plugin settings it would create issues.

    Hi Ben,

    Here’s a good one for you from a guy who is stuck between developers (me):

    My checkout is down at the busiest time of year and I think this is because I updated WooCOmmerce but not Virtue Premium and now I get the message telling me that my “theme has bundled outdated copies of WooCommerce template files”. (Full copy of the error message copied to the end of this email) You can see form the Templates info that there are lots of parts of the Virtue 1.4 that are out of date for teh current version of Woo Commerce.

    It seems that I need to update to the latest version of Virtue Premium, but I think I would lose a lot of the numerous customisations which cost me money for developers (which I have now fired) to do.

    Here are my questions I’m hoping you can help me out with:

    It seems my developer didn’t make the changes with a child’s theme. Is there anyway of updating without losing all the customisations? Perhaps by retroactively setting up a child’s theme or exporting the current mods before updating and then importing the mods again?

    If I make the update using the export options method as listed on this support page, which of the following mods would be kept?

    – Significant mods to the CSS for a very different page master
    – Extra fields added to the portfolio post page backend.
    – A magnifying function for the product photos.

    Also why where you adding a breadcrumbs function? The theme has built in breadcrumbs?

    Hi Ben,

    The caches are cleared, problem remains. The kadence slider is with auto width and height, perhaps it has something to do with this. I can make a video of the problem and send it to you?

    You are using w2 total cache.

    I am not talking about clearing your browser cache I’m talking about clearing your site cache in w3 total cache.

    Have you tested your site while logged out?

    Hi Ben,

    Thanks for your reply. The cache has been cleared and also tested on other devices and the links (All, Design for Print, Identity, Illustration, Websites) do not change the portfolio images below them. This was working before I updated yesterday.
