i try all browser all the time and i refresh with CTRL+F5 to load the page without cache
disabling the fancy scroll didn’t do anthing except for the style of the bar. It is still visible on top of
    everything on the homepage only.
The space under the footer is also pretty nasty.
how can i help you to help me?

Thank you for taking the time,
    B.

    Hey,
I’m not seeing any issues? Did you clear your site cache?

    Ben

    #23793

yes I cleared the cache – this is a site I am currently building so I am changing bits and bobs all the time.
It’s not the first slide – as you can see any slide with just text is fine – it’s when the button is there it adds the black box – would you like me to swap the slides over to save you having to click the navigation arrow?

    many thanks

    nic

I actually haven’t been able to see this happening… Trying to guess. which browser are you working in now.

I assume if you turn off the smooth scroll then you don’t have this issue? Have you tired logged out with a cleared cache?

Hey, try clearing your cache and trying again. It could be that you need to increase you max upload size. You can check what your max upload size by going into media > add new and look in the bottom left corner.

    Hi Hannah,

Thanks for the help. I’ve re-activated the caching plugin and turned it off. Cleared browser cache and refreshed, but the mobile slider still hasn’t appeared. Any other ideas?

    Hi,

tryed IE, Chrome and Firefox. Clearing cache, hard-reloading with CTRL+F5, CTRL+SHIFT+F5, etc.
IE is the only one not showing that bar.
In Chrome and Firefox the navigation bar on the right (the old style, not the black rounded) remains on top of the page
… and this is only on the homepage. Smells like some css ?

    Thanx,
    B.

Hey, I’m seeing 6 columns. What browser are you using? Try clearing your cache.

    See this:

    http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/#!/d9sCu0/http://creativepresents.ru/

That is your site with the basic theme. And no social plugin on the side (which you had before). Your load time is over 4 seconds. That isn’t good. And your not even loading any content or slider.

Now if you think thats good we have an issue. What I am telling you is that your server is very slow and if you try to load a powerful theme and woocommerce then your going to have a very very slow site. Talk to your host, the delay is all happening with them. Also do what I have said from the beginning and install w3 total cache. Which can really help if you have a low end server.

I would focus on your caching, gzip, and javascript. I always recommend using w3 total cache.

I guess I should have explained more! But with my site I have the title of my site left justfied and the navigation right justified on the same line but on on Firefox and Internet Explorer it’s both centre justified on two different lines. Additionally the images on the “Portfolio” aren’t displaying properly.

Yes I tried to clear the cache and I still have the issues.

Here are some images that display what the design should be vs. the issues.

    Hey,
    Do you see here: http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/#!/c00fmz/http://creativepresents.ru/

Your load time all come from your server not loading your site. plugins like w3 total cache can help your server speed. Social plugins can really hurt your speed. Either way your servers response is a major issue. I suggest you contact your hosting company and talk though your issues or install a good caching plugin or find a better hosting service.

    Check the demo for example:

    Hey,
Are you using jetpack stats? Do you have the little smiley face turned off in the settings?

PS I have a mac and checked in multiple browsers. Don’t see a white bar.. Also you are using a caching plugin which means you have to clear the cache after every change you make.
