1. Your settings look good, though sometimes you need to manually clear your cache. I’m seeing your slider now though. Is it working for you?
2. For the “use cookie-free domains” – there isn’t really anything you can do about this because google analytics is what’s being flagged. It’s not actually an issue since you know what’s bringing it up and that google analytics is fast.
For “Add Expires headers”, that’s something your caching plugin would need to add for you. Make sure browser caching is turned on.3. Yes:)
4. Captcha is different from cache. Keep your cache plugin enabled, but you do not need two recaptcha plugins. Choose one or the other.
Hope this is helpful!

Thank you, Hannah!
1. Se attachment, are there any settings here I should change?

2. I have taken the test, can you help me explain what this means and how I can fix this:
– Use cookie-free domains
– Add Expires headers3. I was recommended setting in my SSL: Enable redirection via 301 .htaccess. Do you agree that this feature should be turned on?
4. Is it necessary to have all of these plugins, do they do about the same thing? Kadence reCAPTCHA, Cache Enabler and reCaptcha by BestWebSoft.
Thank you so much for your help!
Stine

Hey,
1. Have you cleared all the cache in your Cache Enabler settings?
2. You can test your page speed using Pingdom tools. This post has tips for speeding up your site: https://www.kadencewp.com/blog/need-for-speed/
3. Where are you getting that error message? It is likely a plugin that is conflicting. I suggest deactivating your plugins to test. Let me know if there’s no change.
Best,

Yes i have cleared the cache. Please try booking a private volleyball lesson. When you get to the cart page and click on the continue shopping it results in a 404. This does not happen on the wordpress 2016 theme. Please see my see my first email regarding this issue #253832 also see my reply to ben’s suggestion #254076.
Again, is there an issue with virtue premium theme that prevents visitors to using the continue shopping button? I have contacted bookingwp.com about there woocommerce appointment plugin and they say it is not an issue with their plugin. As I mentioned in my first email to support #2533832. I have tested this plugin on a wordpress theme 2016 and there is no problem with the continue shopping button.

Hi Steve,
When testing this on your site I got the issue to happen the first time I added a product to the cart, but then was unable to repeat the issue upon adding subsequent products and clicking “continue shopping”. Even after removing all items from the cart and re-adding. Are you using a caching plugin? Have you cleared all your cache?Hannah

July 31, 2020 at 4:29 pm #254023This error is still really troubling.
PHP Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 2097152) (tried to allocate 131072 bytes)
That is saying you ran out at 2mb when a process was trying to use 0.13mb If your max memory was set to 1gb then something else on the server wasn’t functioning correctly. You certainly shouldn’t need to upgrade to a 4CPU’s, 8Gb System. That is similar to what I use to run this site which has tons of users accessing non-cached/partial cached data in the forums. I would encourage you to press your host on this before paying them more. If some of your admin heavy plugins need it that is fine but the error above shouldn’t be fixed by adding more memory because it’s saying your access stalled at 2mb.
I was just on your site and I was able to access the test page I made in the block editor. I didn’t see any errors or issues? I added content and saved. Are you still seeing an error?
Ben

In forum: Ascend ThemeAnonymousJuly 26, 2020 at 12:06 pm #253557Hi
I am having some issues with kt-icon.woff2 which I wondered if you could help with.
1. When I look at google page speeds, I see a suggestion to Preload key requests for …fonts/kt-icon.woff2?62sx4n. I have tried to implement this by adding the following to Theme Options > Header and Footer Scripts > Header Output:
<link rel="preload" href="/wp-content/themes/ascend_premium/assets/css/fonts/kt-icon.woff2" as="font" type="font/woff2" crossorigin>
I have tried with and without the query string for the font file and also tried crossorigin param in this format and crossorigin=”anonymous”.
It appears successful in as much that I can see it preloading in the source code but Google still suggests I preload this key request – sometimes adding as much as 2.5 seconds delay AND at the same time warns me “The resource *Login to see link was preloaded using link preload but not used within a few seconds from the window’s load event. Please make sure it has an appropriate as value and it is preloaded intentionally.”
Attached image is the Preload suggestion when preloading header is active.
So it seems to be preloading but I don’t know why it’s not being used. Can you shed any light on this?
2. I then searched the forums to see if this had come up before and saw that it was to do with icons. So I switched to minimal icons per the advice in one post (Theme Options > Misc Settings > Icons) to stop the file being used, purged caches and checked again, but the file is still being loaded and still suggests preloading.
3. Finally, I also get a warning about this in page speeds:
Ensure text remains visible during webfont load
Warnings: Lighthouse was unable to automatically check the font-display value for the following URL: *Login to see linkCan you suggest how I can stop this file loading altogether or ensure that it does preload successfully?
Thanks
