In reply to: Woocommerce Product Category Page Won't Load
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeIn reply to: Creating slider in blog post
In forum: Virtue ThemeHi there,
I’m having an issue on one of our sites where certain categories won’t load – the page is completely blank, however all non woocommerce pages work fine – also product pages seem fine and most category pages too.
I’ve also noticed that if I change the woo commerce settings to display categories only on the shop home, it also fails to load.
The site is question is *Login to see link
Here’s an example:
All plugins and theme are up to date and here’s what I’ve tried to far:
– Deactivating all plugins (apart from Woocommerce)
– Clearing Cache (via Fastest cache plugin)
– Deleting Category, re-adding and putting products back into category
– Clearing WC Transients
– Reset Woocommerce Term countsProblem persisted after all this, so I activated 2015 theme and the category loaded fine so I’m now wondering if it’s a theme issue?
Could you take a look please? I’m happy to give logins in a pm if needed.
Many thanks in advance,
Steve
In forum: Virtue ThemeIn forum: Reply To:March 25, 2017 at 1:12 pm #138678Hey,
Query strings don’t take up space. There is no mount of kb for query strings those are simply used so the browser knows to reload the cached files if the query version changes. There are only 5 js files that would load from the theme. all others would be from plugins.
Regardless you should use caching and minify to combine js files. Please see : https://www.kadencewp.com/need-for-speed/

March 24, 2017 at 10:46 am #138564Hey,
I would have to see what your plugin settings are. The screen shot shows you have a js error causing this. Which means that the plugin while minifying is either changing js order or the minified files aren’t loading correctly. We recommend wp-rocket for caching but you shouldn’t have any trouble with any other caching plugin like w3 total cache.
I can’t diagnose what that plugin is doing wrong compared to other caching plugins without being able to see it enabled.
If you would like you can send a temp login to your site and I can test.

You were absolutely right about the CSS for the slider conflicting for the right alignment – that worked and so is fine now.
The centre alignment isn’t working tough. I’ve cleared the cache and also tried two other browsers but the button still sits well above the logo.

I’m not seeing the CSS in your custom CSS box, but I do see that you’re adding the margin to the button using this CSS:
.kad-slider .kad-slider-btn, .kad-btn { border-radius: 10px; margin-right: 20px; }You could remove that margin to get the button to go to the far right of the slider.
And this CSS is working for me, so I think you need to clear your cache:.kad-spacer.clearfix { height: 60px !important; }-Kevin

Dear Kadence Theme, I’m WordPress educator. I have hundrets students on my online course. We are making WP sites mostly on Pinnacle (free and premium).
For about a week there is a huge problem. Homepage Layout Manager does not work. We can not move widgets from Disable to Enable (and vice versa).
When i look at Console i see many wrongly manage links. Look here: *Login to see linkServer provider said that it is not their problem. My question: what PHP version Pinnacle needs? Because it is either server problem or theme problem. We need to find solution. We did everything to solve it (uploading theme one againd, testing previous theme verions, deleting all plugins, deleting other themes, deleting cache in browsers, changing browsers).
Please, look at this problem carefully.

March 20, 2017 at 9:06 pm #137868Also you are using WP Fastest Cache which means nothing can be checked on your home page because your serving a cached file and not one that is checking for user data.

March 20, 2017 at 11:10 am #137753js can be added in your theme options > header and footer scripts.
Again the demo is not doing this. If you just tried then it’s possible your seeing a cache of me testing out the code I posted above before I sent it to you.
