Hey Gre,
I haven’t heard of this from anyone else. Try deacitvating your plugins and clear your cache. Does that change anything? Have you tried contacting your host to see if they have any insight?

This does not seem to make any changes, is there a place I need to allow this style sheet to be active? I placed the text above exactly how you said, and it was the first entry there.

I have released my cache, and I even tried a non cloud flare URL to avoid their cache http://bestsealdrapes.indiservers.com/

Hey Ben, the code worked great for the menu but I can’t get the logo to center now. I also changed the Header height to 50px and this seemed to work in chrome but won’t work in Microsoft Edge even after emptying cache.

I don’t see the css on your site did you clear the cache?

Update your other css to this:

Everything from the desktop version of your site is translating to the mobile site on my phone still! Maybe try to clear the browser caches on those devices to see if that fixes the issue? I know in Chrome you can do this by going into Settings> Privacy> Clear Cache.

See if that helps and let me know.

Thanks, Ben. I didn’t notice that problem before, it was a javascript function that must have somehow been working on desktop chrome without throwing errors, but was technically inaccurate. That will help solve a different problem I had.

After clearing not only the cache in mobile chrome but the cookies and other website data, the issue with the primary navigation showing on mobile has been resolved.

Thanks Ben! I didn’t really do due diligence in noticing that the content was dropped into the HEAD.

This was indeed caused by a plugin that I accidentally overlooked in my deactivation spree. “Facebook Meta Tags v1.0” a correction of page meta thumbnail/description for the Facebook link cache… The breakage must have been tripped somehow by theme or another update, but plugin in question is clearly not robust enough to keep in action.

Sorry to drop the blame here so quickly, just got some new clients clicking around and needed the recovery!

Have you tried clearing your cache as well as temporarily disabling your installed plugins to see if that might be causing the issue? Perhaps the update has made a plugin on your sites non-compatible with page builder.

Ok well everything seems to be functioning correctly then. It could very well be a caching error that was making it display differently for you.

Have you tried clearing your cache and disabling plugins to see if that fixes the issue on the one site thats not showing the collapsed menu?

Just so you know removing version control will have very very little impact on page load. I simply suggest your minify your scripts and combine them, w3 total cache does this well or rocket cache maybe if your programmer doesn’t want you to use a plugin like that he has a minify suggestion.

I finally figured it out! Only my main page was being cached!!! So if anyone has a similar problem here is the setup/ solution
This only occurs when permalink structure is plain (the basic one with all them numbers). Now because of certain plugin issues I had to have plain permalinks.
If that is your case as well, no cache plugin will work (maybe with w3 if you set it up right, but I kept getting high memory usage so it was a no go)
I finally found that if you use zen cache (or easy cache) there’s an option “GET requests” you must enable it and all the pages will be cached.

I’m also using nginx built in cache so that helps a lot.
Anyway problem fixed I get a load time of under 2 seconds for every page, (even quicker sometimes).
And that is totally fine with me as woo-commerce is dragging some stuff behind.

directly into Theme Options >>> Custom CSS, but nothing changed. Even after clearing my phone cache, I’m seeing the text being much larger than the photo.

Looking at Google Inspect Element, I’m not seeing the Custom CSS being reflected on the page.

I tested the site with only woocommerce plugin and got appropriate result. But what if I need not every those plugins but some?
I use no cache plugin but I hired a programmist and he set some settings on server that compress scripts. After that he said that I can remove all caching plugins and I did it. By the way after his work the site started to work faster and on google Insights figures rised from 40-45 to 70-83 on different pages.

Now on pingdom tools on “performance grade” tab
I have “Remove query strings from static resources” with 56 grade with following instructions:
Resources with a “?” in the URL are not cached by some proxy caching servers. Remove the query string and encode the parameters into the URL for the following resources:
