I understand that you are having an issue with changing the header background color on your website. I am happy to help!
Could you kindly confirm if you have the Kadence Theme installed on the website “thetennisgeek.com” that you shared? I noticed that the website does not have the Kadence Theme installed on it.
See the screenshot for reference:
https://share.getcloudapp.com/BlubpW14There could be several reasons why your header color is not changing, but I will provide you with some potential solutions:
1. Clear your website cache
Sometimes, your website cache may be causing the issue. Clearing your website cache can help to resolve the problem.
Once you have cleared your cache, try to change the header background color again.2. Check if there is custom CSS code affecting the header color
If you have added custom CSS code to your website, it might affect the header color. To check this, you can follow these steps:
– On your WordPress dashboard, Go to Appearance > Click Customize
– Click on the Additional CSS option
– Check if there is any code related to the header color
If you find any code related to the header color, try removing it or changing the color codeOn the other hand, if you are indeed using a Kadence Theme, there are different settings on how to customize a transparent or sticky header.
Here is a guide on how to use a Transparent Header: https://www.kadencewp.com/help-center/docs/kadence-theme/how-to-use-a-transparent-header/
Also, here is a guide on working with the Sticky Header: https://www.kadencewp.com/help-center/docs/kadence-theme/working-with-the-sticky-header/
You can also read more on how to customize your website header: https://www.kadencewp.com/help-center/docs/kadence-theme/how-to-customize-the-kadence-header/I hope this helps. Please let us know if we can assist you further.

March 7, 2023 at 5:32 am #282591It appears that LiteSpeed Cache is not working well with the newest Kadence updates. I’m still trying to figure out the specific cause, but after some testing, I can confirm it’s not the CSS or JS blocks which seems to be the most common issue.
I’m just glad I have a way to prevent it, even if just a temporary solution. Thank you!! I’ll reach out to them for further support.

March 7, 2023 at 12:29 am #282585Hi Rosytravelco,
I tried to replicate the issue on my website, but advanced headings are showing fine at my end.
I have checked your website https://www.thewellnessadventurer.com/ and found that you are using Litespeed cache plugin.
I recommend that you deactivate the litespeed cache and test in an incognito window.
How to troubleshoot:
- If a page doesn’t appear correctly on the front end, open the page and try resaving. This will rebuild the static HTML in the page content and update the block formats.
- If a page doesn’t appear correctly on the front end, review any custom CSS you have added to see if your custom CSS needs to be updated to work correctly
Check the article to troubleshoot and update Kadence block : https://www.kadencewp.com/blog/introducing-blocks-3/#updating-and-troubleshooting-tips

Best Regards,
ArchitaIn forum: Ascend ThemeMy client likes the Raleway font but prefers me to use lining nums over oldstyle-nums.
I am only able to do this using advanced text blocks with font-variant-numeric: lining-nums;
I cannot get lining nums to display anywhere by adding font-variant-numeric: lining-nums to custom css. I am guessing this means that those glyphs are only being loaded when I am able to choose Raleway in a block’s advanced typography. How do I get those glyphs to load globally so I can use them everywhere?
EXAMPLES
Where it works: *Login to see link
See the paragraph right before the accordion—Pay in full today or make a 20% deposit. Those are lining-nums.Where it doesn’t work: *Login to see link
See the numeric characters in 65-acre or the dates on the posts. Those should be lining-nums. Inspection shows that the style is indeed being passed to the element but the proper characters are not being displayed, which leads me to believe that the lining num glyphs are not being loaded.I have tried cache clearing, etc. Thank you!

Hi Asmus,
I’m not able to replicate this. I had a colleague try on his site as well and he also was unable to replicate. Would you mind deactivating your plugins to test if any are conflicting? And also ensure your cache is all being cleared. Let me know if there’s no change.Kindly,

Hi Cleve and Ulf,
I’m very sorry to hear about these problems. Have you done any troubleshooting? Such as making sure you’re up to date on all plugins and theme? Deactivating plugins to test if they are conflicting? Clearing all cache? Kadence Blocks 3.0 just went out and there have been quite a few bug fixes in recent versions so be sure that you’re fully updated there. You can see some other troubleshooting tools here: https://www.kadencewp.com/blog/how-to-troubleshoot-your-website/
If the issue remains please start a new support ticket and provide a link to your site.Kindly,

February 28, 2023 at 9:29 pm #282460Hi There,
I have logged in to your website and did the following:
- Enabled the Local Font Files option
- Viewed the page in Incognito browser window
There was no console error and the font files were loading properly
Check the screencast: https://share.getcloudapp.com/geuEJjR9Note: I’ve changed your website settings back to what they were before.
I recommend enabling the Load Google Fonts locally option and Flush Local Font Files. Check the website in the Incognito window.
Please clear the Cloudflare cache and browser cache before testing.
Check the article for clearing cache:

ArchitaIn forum: Kadence ThemeIn reply to: Migrated site not updating fonts properly
Hi, thanks for the reply. The issue does go away when I flush the font cache and turn off “Load Google Fonts Locally” in General/Performance. However, the issue remains if I turn on “Load Google Fonts Locally” again. It would be nice to have fonts load locally to increase performance.
Any ideas?

Hi there!
When I inspected your website, I do not see any padding values around the mobile header logo. Also, when I viewed it on a Safari browser on an iPhone device, the logo doesn’t look too small – https://share.getcloudapp.com/Apue5zNr.
On the other hand, this is where the logo padding can be set – https://share.getcloudapp.com/Z4umOKzl.
I saw that you have WP Rocket. If you are still seeing the small logo on your phone, could you clear your website and browser cache? You may refer to the following posts:

Hi, @abeera.sultan93.
This topic has been marked as resolved. Kindly open your new topic next time so we can see it as a new one.
On the other hand, I checked your website on an actual iPhone device. The mobile menu worked, watch this screen recording – https://share.getcloudapp.com/bLuO7Edl.
Do you still see the issue on your mobile phone? If so, do the following:
- Purge your WP Rocket cache and/or Cloudflare CDN cache.
- Clear your mobile browser cache. Here’s a reference – https://its.uiowa.edu/support/article/719
I hope this helps. Please let us know if we can assist you further.

February 8, 2023 at 3:30 am #282083Solved my own problem!
I’m in the process of migrating to a new hosting provider using the LiteSpeed web server and LiteSpeed cache plugin. It turns out that if you activate the LSCache option Lazy Load images you also need to enable the Responsive Placeholder option.
Many thanks
Adrian

February 7, 2023 at 7:30 pm #282077Hi John,
I checked the different pages on your website. Indeed, there are some pages that are displaying the favicon. When I view the page source, the icons are there.

For initial troubleshooting, please could you do the steps listed in this article https://www.kadencewp.com/blog/how-to-troubleshoot-your-website? Especially the caching part, as I can see you have WP Rocket and Cloudflare CDN enabled.

Teejay. In forum: Kadence BlocksIn reply to: Why my slider is not working?
Hi there!
Glad to hear that you were able to pinpoint the cause of the slider issue.
Some of the errors on the console are 404 errors. This error means that the specific resource/file/page was not found. Some errors are coming from the JS files of WordPress itself. You can see where they are coming from if you hover over their file names on the right side.
I saw that you have CDN enabled. Do you also have a plugin for cache or optimization? If you temporarily disable those, will the errors still show? If not, then you might need to adjust some plugin settings to avoid seeing the errors.
I hope this helps, and let us know if we can assist you further.
