Hi,
Did you clear your site cache after you updated it? Can you send a link to where you are seeing this?Ben
In forum: Ascend ThemeAbsolutely did. I had both Nicole (the client) and my son (my test subject) clear the browser cache and some phone settings. keeps happening, but only on Androids and only with Chrome. And I believe you have to visit the home page, go to another page, then return to the home page. I don’t have an Android phone myself so I’m working vicariously on this one.
In forum: Kadence ThemeMay 19, 2021 at 1:18 pm #265935Thank you for getting back to me, Karla.
This did not solve the issue. I refreshed as shown in your video after clearing browser cache, website cache as well as trying to deactivate plugins one at a time.
Then I deleted all the Kadence Plugins and loaded the following one at a time and checking for changes. No changes to the ability to use the pro blocks or layout.

May 15, 2021 at 10:08 am #265837for now I’ve disabled the settings under customise>general>performance for local google font & preload.
Under chrome console these font related objects are now appearing:
/wp-content/plugins/litespeed-cache/assets/js/webfontloader.min.js
/css?family=Rubik:regular,700%7CMontserrat:600&display=swap
Link: https://fonts.gstatic.com>; rel=preconnect; crossorigin
Authority: fonts.googleapis.com/s/rubik/v12/iJWKBXyIfDnIV7nBrXw.woff2
Referer: https://fonts.googleapis.com/
Authority:fonts.gstatic.com/s/montserrat/v15/JTURjIg1_i6t8kCHKm45_bZF3gnD_g.woff2
Referer: https://fonts.googleapis.com
Authority: fonts.gstatic.comI’m guessing the issue I’m facing is both kadence theme & lightspeed cache both trying to load google fonts? Whats the best way out of this?
Can I give full control the the kadence theme/litespeed cache? or can I make them play nice together?
Apologies if I’m on the wrong track – it’s been an extremely long time since I did any web dev.

In forum: Kadence ThemeTopic: Local Google Fonts GT Metrix
May 15, 2021 at 3:33 am #265835Hi,
I’m having some issues with my google fonts and a bit stuck as to why.
Using Kadence Theme/Kadence Blocks
Under “Customiser>General>Performance” I have enabled “Load Google Fonts Locally” & “Preload Local Fonts”
Theres 3 font files being loaded on this page:
wp-content/fonts/montserrat/JTURjIg1_i6t8kCHKm45_bZF3gnD_g.woff2
wp-content/fonts/rubik/iJWZBXyIfDnIV5PNhY1KTN7Z-Yh-4I-FV0U1.woff2
wp-content/fonts/rubik/iJWZBXyIfDnIV5PNhY1KTN7Z-Yh-B4iFV0U1.woff2All roughly the same size – around 19kb each
On the GT Metrix waterfall view, these first two .woff2 files always seem to load within 30-50ms but the last one is usually 300ms+ (Blocking)
I am using LiteSpeed Cache & Quic.cloud CDN.
LiteSpeed Cache:
Page Optimisation > CSS Settings >
Font Display Optimisation – Swap (Available options are Default, Block, Swap, Fallback, Optional)Page Optimisation > Optimisation >
Load Google Fonts Asynchronously – Off
Remove Google Fonts – OffI’m not entirely sure why the rubik font has 2 files being loaded and montserrat only one.
Additionally I’ve been googling and trying to figure out the best way to load these fonts without slowing down the page score but am just getting a bit confused honestly.
If anyone can shed any light on this it’d be super appreciated.

Hello,
Thanks for the additional explanation!
You’ll have to set the alignment to the left so that your menu will have the proper indentation – https://share.getcloudapp.com/qGuE6d4n.
I see the issue now and I believe your menu is too long that is why the issue happens. Kindly add this custom CSS code in Customizer > Additional CSS to adjust it:
.popup-drawer .drawer-content.content-valign-middle { padding-top: calc( 19em + 24px); }Kindly purge any cache to make sure the changes take effect.
Hope this helps further.

Hi Karla
I apologise for my delay in responding to you as I was expecting an email notification.
I just noticed your reply thanks
I purged cache on Litespeed also the cloudflare cache as you suggested but
Unfortunately this did not work.
I inserted the code in the thene options as you can see from the image
Perhaps you can check if it is correctly entered?
Thanks in anticipation
Anthony
IIn forum: Kadence ThemeApril 25, 2021 at 10:46 pm #265349Hi Kadence,
Issue with the new Kadence Theme is the image I choose as my Featured image.
You may already be aware of it, nonetheless, check my blog post, link attached. It is self explaining.
When you read it for the first time, it’s not cached, so the featured image leave a blank space for readers.
When you update browser, the cach remember, and image shows up directly when you go back to the blog article the second time.
Maybe the featured image has to be smaller than other images in a blog post?
I haven’t seen this prior to using the Kadence theme. Prior to Kadence Theme I used Ascend and Virtue and that never seem to an issue.
Maybe it has to do with the feature in showing the featured image.
I use Kadence Theme, starter template / Course.
Best regards

Hello Anthony,
I can see you’re using the Litespeed Cache plugin. After saving your changes in the Theme Options, have you purged your website/server cache?
If you haven’t done that yet, kindly do so and see if the custom CSS code will be applied properly.Hope this helps further.
Best Regards,
Karla -
