I’m not sure I’m seeing this. Are you clearing your cache? Can you send a screenshot? https://postimages.org/

In forum: Ascend ThemeHi
I recently updated to Ascend Premium which is great! I’m updating our site – *Login to see link – to take advantage of some of the premium features and I have a problem with the Ascend Post Grid and Recent Posts widgets.
When I add them to a sidebar on a draft test page on the live site, the preview results in a server timeout. No other widgets do this, nor does the built-in WordPress Recent Posts widget (which outputs links to the latest posts, without thumbnails of the featured images). The blog_posts shortcode works fine on the test page. The site is running WordPress 5.0.3, with the classic editor as I’ve not yet moved to Gutenberg. Ascend theme is the latest, 1.7.0.
I have tried purging caches and re-saving permalinks but it makes no difference. However, the widgets work on my staging site, which is running on WordPress 5.0.2 so I suspect a possible conflict with these widgets which use blog post featured images and the latest 5.0.3 version of WordPress.
Any help to diagnose and resolve the issue would be appreciated!
Thanks for a superb theme.
Julian

January 11, 2019 at 10:40 pm #213094I still see animate in turned on. Did you clear your cache after turning it off.
I still don’t know what you want with the product slider. It’s a woocommerce slider and it’s slide direction is defined there. I don’t understand what you are asking to change about it.
You can add this for the mobile cart icon:
.kt-cart-container { min-width: 60px; }It’s got to do with the css I sent before to rearrange the order.

In forum: Ascend ThemeJanuary 9, 2019 at 12:41 pm #212760Hi Ben,
I have never had to do that before but I did go and clear the cache as you suggested. At the same time there was a Word Press update and another update for Ascend to 1.70 which I applied and everything is not back to normal.
Thank you for your help and I will definitely try clearing the cache is that ever happens again!

Hello,
Firstly, have you tested for a plugin conflict by deactivating your active plugins one by one to see if the issue goes away when a certain plugin is OFF?
Be sure to clear your cache after deactivating each plugin.
Let me know if you find anything.

January 8, 2019 at 11:53 am #212596So you need to remove hannahs css.
Make sure to clear your swift performance plugin cache and rebuild minify.

In forum: Virtue ThemeI have Virtue Premium installed on WP multi-site, and have a separate child theme for each of my sites.
The style.css sheet and the functions.php work fine. However, if I add any file to the child theme (ex. templates/header-topbar.php) they do not work. It’s like they are not pulled to the site at all.
For instance, I have added the class “testing” to the cart link in the topbar (for testing purposes), but it does not show.
I have disabled all plugins and flushed all cache. Still nothing. Is this a known issue with multi site installation? Any help is welcome.

Hi JF,
I would recommend reading through this post: https://www.kadencewp.com/need-for-speed/
The fewer http requests I believe has to do with your plugins. Are you currently running a lot of plugins? Using less would bring that down.
The expires headers has to do with your caching. Are you using a good caching plugin? I would recommend WP Rocket or W3 Total Cache.
Hope that’s helpful!Hannah

Perfect, Thanks, done. One issue though:
I have the cell alignment on centre, but the images are all aligned left. I’ve cleared cache,
Tried full width and standard alignment, but still stays left. I’d like it full width.Re the form. – I’ll try setting up a new form via the mailer lite wordpress plugin. I think this code is being pulled in via the Mailer Lite API code. I don’t have access to the account, so I can’t edit it?
