Topic: Archive Customiser
Hello
just updated to version 1.1.44 and appearance > post/pages layout > Archive layout , can’t change font size, backgrounds … it saves but reverts to default state.
Cleared browser/site caches to no avail. Happened on 3 sites now, thankfully backups made
Thanks
Andrew
In forum: Kadence ThemeIn reply to: Adding a background video.
Hi, Mandy!
I tried replicating the issue by adding a Row Layout block with a local video file background. It worked for my Safari, Firefox, and mobile Safari browsers:
- desktop – https://share.zight.com/p9uY5lZZ
- mobile – https://share.zight.com/xQuN0ZoA
You can also view my page here.
Have you tried deactivating other plugins one by one? If you have a plugin that lazy-loads videos, could you try disabling that option and clearing the website cache?
Then, let us know if it fixes the issue.
Kind regards,
KarlaIn forum: Kadence ThemeIn reply to: Adding a background video.

Hi Chito,
I have deleted cache and I haven’t updated to live because the preview always shows the wrong version. I just tried putting it to live (just then and switched back) and the problem persists. Can you tell me what email I need to use to give you temporary admin access.
Thank youIn forum: Kadence ThemeIn reply to: Using Navigation block in element
September 19, 2023 at 6:36 am #285546Hi Joanne,
Thanks for the screenshots.
It looks like a caching issue to me. Did you copy/paste or duplicate the Navigation block? Have you also cleared the website cache?
I checked the footer, but the hooked element is not there.
If you’re still having trouble, I could take a closer look. Here’s a guide to creating a temporary admin access and send the login link here as a private reply. Be sure to check the “Set as private reply” option below.

Hi there!
I’m sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
When I viewed your page, the title section wasn’t using the “Above Content” title section layout. This is why the background image is not being applied.
Could you confirm whether you have cleared your website cache already? If not yet, please do so and see if the blog page will use the correct settings.

September 14, 2023 at 5:22 am #285477Hi there,
Can you please share the link to the page in question, so we can take a look at the issue? You can send it here privately by checking the “Set as private reply” option below.
If you have an optimization plugin, please clear the website cache and temporarily deactivate that plugin. See if that makes a difference.
Best,
ChitoIn forum: Virtue ThemeHi, Maureen!
I apologize for the long delay. Please note that you can also submit premium support questions/inquiries on this page. This one will send an email to us in our support tool.
Going back to the layout issue on the homepage – add this to your Customize > Additional CSS to fix the position of the menu dropdown:
#menu-mine.sf-menu ul.sub-menu.dropdown { left: 0; right: 0; margin: 0 auto; }Here’s how it will work for your homepage – https://share.getcloudapp.com/NQu5qqw5.
If you do not see any changes, please make sure that you’ve cleared your cache from WP-Optimize.
I hope this helps, and let us know if we can assist you further.

September 12, 2023 at 5:40 pm #285414Thanks, I did some tests, copied the theme mods, and I’m trying to decern the issue. Seems like it’s possible there the wordpress object cache isn’t running correctly but I am going to spend more time on it, When I copy your theme mods to another server with tons of things running I get 135ms which is significantly lower then yours

September 6, 2023 at 2:39 pm #285315Hi Daniel,
I am unable to replicate the issue on my test website. Check the screen recording for reference: https://share.getcloudapp.com/6quwKn0o
Please follow the following steps to debug the issue:
- Try to deactivate the plugins one by one and see if there is any plugin that is causing conflict. Check this article to troubleshoot: https://www.kadencewp.com/blog/how-to-troubleshoot-your-website/
- Can you check for console errors you are getting while trying to load the second page? Check this article to troubleshoot: https://www.kadencewp.com/kadence-theme/knowledge-base/troubleshooting/how-to-view-console-log-errors/
- Check the article to clear the cache: https://www.kadencewp.com/kadence-theme/knowledge-base/troubleshooting/clearing-your-website-cache/
- Check the article to clear the browser cache and cookies: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/32050?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop
Can you share the whole screen recording of the whole process? You can use apps like Zight or Loom to record your screen or capture screenshots of the issue and easily share the links with us.
I hope this helps. Let us know if we can assist you further.

Enable the Rank Math AMP module at WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math dashboard >Modules > enable the AMP module.
Once you enabled the AMP module, purge your wp-rocket cache.

ArchitaIn forum: Kadence BlocksIn reply to: Post Grid/carousel doesn´t work
August 31, 2023 at 1:05 pm #285248I am having the same problem. I just posted this new blog post minutes ago, here. On desktop it has the carousel layout but on mobile it’s a grid. It can’t possibly be a cache problem because the post is brand new, it never existed before, there are no past caches of this page.
In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: How to Disable default Back to Top button?
Thanks… but… that didn’t seem to work. The gray square “back to top” arrow sill appears on desktop browsers (but still not on mobile). Yes, I purged the cache, saved settings, etc.
This seems to be theme-related. Checking for solutions online shows a way to disable the “back to top” button in other themes via Customize–>Footer–> Footer layout, but that option doesn’t exist there for me?
Any other ideas?
In forum: Virtue ThemeHello everyone,
First of all, sorry for my bad English. I’m trying my best 🙂
I have issues with the publication of my website. The homepage and all the other pages, are not showing when i’m accessing the URL. It’s working as a preview though. I have made a video in order to show the problem :
The website link is : *Login to see link
For info, i have well defined the Homepage as a static page with “homepage”, i have refreshed WordPress and firefox cache, i have published as “public” the page. I have no other ideas…
Have you ever faced the same situation? How do you fix it?
Many thanks in advance,
Florian

August 26, 2023 at 11:42 pm #285199There was the same issue with one of my client’s website https://capapkcut.com/ created with kadence theme. I simply connected his site with cloudflare and cleared the cache then installed WP Rocket plugin and solved the issue by clearing the cache with that.
In forum: Kadence BlocksHi Chito,
Thank you for your reply and personalized video. I appreciate that!
Hmmm, that’s weird that my screenshot isn’t loading for you. When I reload this thread in my (Safari) browser, I am always seeing the thumbnail image. That’s interesting that you aren’t able to access the image, but I am. Was there a way I could post a screenshot without using this very ad-covered imgbb image hosting service? Seems like maybe they are the problem here.
Aside from this, I cleared the cache of my browser, and on my website hosting with WP Rocket, and in the backend, my Progress Bar never centered still.
Then I watched your video and noticed you had the same issue. When you clicked the center option, it never centered for you (on the backend) in the editor. BUT, when you saved and went to the front end, it WAS centered. I had never even tried on the front end, because my experience with Kadence Blocks has been that they always preview in the backend accurately (WYSIWYG). And so, I assumed if it wasn’t working correctly in the backend, then it wouldn’t work on the front end.
Do you think this is the way it’s always going to be? Is this a WordPress issue and not a Kadence issue? (That when you center a progress bar in the backed editor, it’s never going to show centered?) That’s always going to mess with my head if I’m constantly having to remind myself that what I see in the backend doesn’t represent what I see on the actual rendered front-end page.
Cheers!

ArchitaIn forum: Kadence BlocksAugust 15, 2023 at 6:41 am #285050Hi Curtis,
Thanks for writing in. Unfortunately, the screenshot is not loading on my end.
The Max Width setting is the right setting to reduce the width.
I checked it on my test site and the center align option works fine on the frontend – here’s a video: https://share.getcloudapp.com/lluXpvQ6
If it still does not work on your end, can you please clear the website and browser cache? Also, kindly check if you are running the latest version of the Kadence Blocks plugin.
Let us know how we can assist further.
Best,
Chito -
