Hello, we are currently using the Virtue Premium theme for our website at http://www.thebespokelifestyle.com.

We are experiencing a number of issues around the Kadence Slider Pro.

First, it doesn’t display in Safari, what does display is a small blue box with a question make in it. Functions fine on other browsers, just not Safari.

Second, we wanted to try Slider Pro on the mobile site, so we enabled it to only experience it not functioning at all, the slides did not display at all. Set the Mobile Home page in the Theme options to not display a slider, but it still shows up after numerous cache clean ups, what did I do wrong?

Finally, for now at least, the “Placement Image” shows up in the header area of the mobile site and I’m not sure how to get rid of it. I’ve deleted the actual image from the media library, but it’s sure is persistent and still displays. How do you disable this in the menu options and how would I add a new one. It wouldn’t be so bad if the image was at least compatible with our websites theme.

    Thanks!

    Hey,
I am seeing your header show transparent. Have you tried clearing your cache?

I am seeing Kevin’s css work fine. What browser are you using? Have you tried clearing your cache?

    Hi Hannah,

I’ve cleared my cache and viewed the page incognito and the issue is still the same. My page builder shows the right text, but the actual page shows old text. When I preview or view the page, it shows the old text instead of the text that is now in page builder. Please help!! I’m at a total loss.

    Thanks.

    Hi,
Here is the link AWE Website
You will see that the header is transparent for a very short while, but then flashes back to white.
I have my header ‘transparent’ set to on in theme settings, but it does not show up as transparent, as said before. The header was perfect until I installed W3 Total Cache (and un-installed it after my website did not function correctly).
Any thoughts as to what could cause this error and how to resolve it?
    I would appreciate your help.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
I have a transparent header on my website, it has been working perfectly until recently when I installed and activated W3 Total Cache- deactivating it again when my site went strange. Now the header is not transparent, although selected to be transparent in the Theme settings.
I would appreciate any input. Thanks
    Abian.

    Hey,
So we know that we are all looking at the same thing, Can clear the cache in w3 total cache then turn it off (each section).

I cleared the cache but I still don’t see “Join Our Newsletter on the page. I checked on two desktop’s and my mobile also and don’t see it on those either.

Thanks. BTW, typo on that page too (I have an eagle eye for them… they pop out at me)

social media links in black bar across the page.

Here’s what I suggest. Your message (apart from the typo) says

    Simple Mobile Header Settings
Note This still used the mobile navigation menu in apperance > menus

So I was looking for a “menu” but what that message actually should point to is the “Menu Settings Theme location.” I can suggest the following for that messag
    at /wp-admin/admin.php?page=kad_options
    1. Fix the typo
    2. include the link that you gave me, in the message ( https://www.kadencewp.com/building-displaying-menus/ )
    3. refer to the “Mobile Navigation Theme location” (not the “mobile navigation menu”)

My last question, it took several minutes for the update to be reflected, even after clearing the browser cache. Can you remind me how to clear the wpengine cache, so that I can determine sooner if fixes are taking?

Further to my previous message, it appears that if I reload several times it displays properly but then returns to the incorrect layout. I have tried clearing the cache several times but it makes no difference. Moreover, when put in landscape mode on mobile devices it still crops as per the original message. Not sure if that is helpful or not.

    Hey Kolbie,
I am seeing a “Join Our Newsletter” form on the top of the page. Is that what you mean? Try clearing your cache.

    Hi Ben

    Many thanks

Hmm..I’m not seeing any obvious errors with the virtue gallery turned off. I have virtue galleries running on all my sites and am not having any issues. Did you try clearing your cache upon deactivating your plugins? Are you running Virtue 3.8.6?

Did you clear your cache? I’m seeing this on all your pages?

Yeah thats a server error. Nothing in the theme that you can do. you can check with w3 total cache support to see if they know of a workaround for your host but your host should be the one to help you. I suggest deactivating all your caching settings so the plugin is activated but not doing anything then enable one thing at a time. You may find that your server doesn’t work well with database caching or object caching but that you can still use page caching for example.

I cleared the cache on all of my browsers. That’s why I said that. I’ve now cleared the cache on the W3 total cache plugin and it’s working now.

    Thank you.
