Hi Team,
The preview image that displays when sharing a page on my website http://www.mimiemmanuel.com to socials will not change even after we changed the feature image on the home page and the Gravatar image and cleared browser caches.

I have been looking to clear wordpress caches but don’t have a plugin for that and haven’t found anywhere in settings to do so.

For example, when I send http://www.mimiemmanuel.com (or http://www.mimiemmanuel.com/books), to a friend on messanger it pops up with an image for the site. the old image has my books on a black background and the new image has more books on a white background. but the old image is still displayed.

Am I missing a step? I have a feeling I am? and I don’t think its a caching issue but I could be wrong.

I followed your instructions on how to add a mega menu, but it doesn’t show up.

I saved everything, purged cache and menu still doesnt show up.

I see you have added an option to remove the underline from the footer widgets for text link in copyright section. I removed the additional CSS and then toggled to remove the underline. It still reverts back to the underline upon publishing, clearing cache, etc. Please look into it.

Hi, Chito,
Thanks for the response. I always hard refresh after making changes to my site. Unfortunately, that doesn’t fix the issue. Additionally, to rule out a computer-based problem, I loaded the website on my phone and work computers, and tried Chrome and Edge browsers. The transparent header isn’t transparent on any of these.

I’ve also cleared my website’s cache and CDN cache just in case those were causing issues.

Looking forward to the next troubleshooting step.

I used Chrome / Edge and test in mobile/ desktop too. I have clear all the cache , delete browser cache too. I use WP rocket.

I mark down the link which one can’t linked. For the 1st two table(see pic 1,2), have underline can link, no underline can’t link. and third table(see pic 3), all no underline, but some can link some can’t.

All of your contents seems to be linking correctly from what I can tell. What browser are you using? Have you cleared all your cache?

Hi Hannah,

I found the issue with using Advanced Button, Advanced Heading and etc. I don’t think is caching issue. I used WP rocket. I will clear cache every edit.

Erm…The animation default of delay is 50 or 0 ? If 50, then is my thinking more. Please correct me if I m wrong.

Hey,
Happy Friday!

1. How are you adding the icon list widget? Are you using a plugin that is outputting that?

2. What size image are you uploading? Be sure that you are uploading an image that is larger than the container. Then you can use the following css to stretch the container width:

.site-header-item.site-header-focus-item {
    width: 100%;
}

3. After setting the sidebar layout from your edit page have you cleared your cache?

4. You can choose the default sidebar for your pages, but then to adjust/remove this you need to do so page by page. Does that make sense?

5. This css will hide your home page title:

.home section.entry-hero.page-hero-section.entry-hero-layout-contained {
    display: none;
}

6. For the dropdown width, try adding this to your css:

@media (max-width: 1200px) {
.header-navigation .header-menu-container ul ul li a, .header-navigation .header-menu-container ul ul {
    width: 200px;
}
.header-navigation ul ul ul {
    right: 100% !important;
    left: auto;
}
}

7. You can customize this from Customize > Blog Posts > Archive Layout.

I see that you were in contact with my colleague Bonn via email and you confirmed you can edit pages on incognito browser windows. Have you tried purging website/server cache and clearing your browser cache to see if the issue will be gone on normal browser windows?

I’m not seeing the css in your code. Have you cleared your cache since adding it?
The CSS is specific to mobile so you shouldn’t need a media query, but you can try this:

@media (max-width: 768px) {

I tried replicating the issue on my test site, but it seems to work properly on my end.

I think this is a sort of browser cache issue on your end.

Could you please try to clear your browser cache, hard refresh the page using CTRL + F5, or open a browser incognito window?

Hi Cindy,
Thanks for reaching out! I know that other Kadence users are using alidropship and I haven’t heard of anyone having issues. What conflicts are you experiencing? Have you tried temporarily activating a default WordPress theme to see if the issues continue?

As for your other issues, be sure all your plugins are updated as well as your theme and WordPress. Also, be sure that you’re clearing your cache.

1. I’m seeing the phone number display from an iPhone xr. Have you cleared your mobile cache? Can you send a screenshot of what you’re seeing?

2. Sorry, I’m also not experiencing this. Be sure that you have cleared all your cache. And if you can provide screenshots that would be helpful.

3. In Theme Options > Home Layout you can enable different product options. Or you can use a product shortcode like this: [products limit="8" columns="4" category="hoodies"]

No need, I found the culprit. I kinda lied (sorry about that) when I said there were no plugins installed. I didn’t install any but one called WP Super Cache came as part and parcel of the hosting service. I disabled that and all was right with the world. Sorry for the false alarm, but maybe this will help others.
