June 25, 2025 at 12:12 pm #294130Hey Guilherme,
This issue hasn’t been reported in quite some time. I did some testing and couldn’t reproduce this.
Can you check for Console Logged Errors? Please send over any error(s) you may receive.
You should also try deactivating all non-Kadence plugins on your website. Then, clear your Caches and see if the issue persists.
If none of those things work for you, consider opening a support ticket with us.

June 23, 2025 at 11:39 pm #294110Hi Sophie,
Thanks for writing back.
Since the fonts keep reverting and require manual cache clearing to display correctly, this suggests the caching or file optimization process might be serving outdated CSS intermittently. This could be due to how WP Rocket handles CSS file generation or defers loading styles.
For a more permanent fix, I recommend reaching out directly to the WP Rocket support team. They can provide detailed insight into how CSS caching is being handled and help identify if a specific setting (like file optimization, delayed CSS loading, or combining files) might be contributing to the issue.
In the meantime, you might also try disabling “Optimize CSS Delivery” or “Delay JavaScript Execution” temporarily and testing the site.
Let me know how it goes.
Best,

June 22, 2025 at 7:21 pm #294105Hi Chito,
Just following up on this. For some reason it keeps resetting to the incorrect fonts (body font and navigation). Clearing the cache fixes it but I was wondering if there is a permanent solution? Any advice would be appreciated.
In forum: Ascend ThemeJune 20, 2025 at 12:05 pm #294092Hey Mark,
Welcome to Kadence Support. We are here to help.
The Ascend theme follows standard Web Development and WordPress standards. All of our themes and products follow this standard. This means, for each page, only the necessary code is pulled in. This ensures our products are optimal for performance.
However, it is important to note that on top of proper practices, additional optimization is usually needed for high performance websites. This comes in the form of Caching/Optimization plugins, such as SolidPerformance or LiteSpeed Cache. These plugins do additional tasks that help load pages efficiently. (There are many optimization plugins available. You can click here to view some popular options.)
Google offers the Page Speed Insights tool, which is a great tool for measuring performance. This tool tests your page speed and goes over warnings/issues that occur on the page load. These warnings can often be fixed using a Caching/Optimization plugin.
Each website is unique, so the specific plugin configuration will depend on your website. If you run into any broken styles or functionalities when using a cache plugin, you should refer to this document to help identify and resolve it.
Additionally, I suggest reviewing this article we released related to image optimization. Properly formatting your images can also help drastically increase the page performance.
I hope this was helpful!

In forum: Kadence ThemeI have now just fixed the error. I had a perfmatters plugin where with the following options disabled:
Disable REST API
Remove REST API LinksI remove these back to default settings and cleared my object cache and WP rocket cache and added a generated a new key to add the library again and it worked!
In forum: Kadence ThemeHi there,
Happy to help – and great to hear you’re enjoying working with Kadence!
We have a detailed blog post that covers many of your questions around performance and optimization, including tips specific to Kadence Blocks and Theme:
https://www.kadencewp.com/blog/need-for-speed/Regarding Google Fonts, while they use Google’s CDN by default, Kadence offers a built-in option to load Google Fonts locally, which can improve privacy compliance and reduce external requests. You can learn how to set that up here:
https://www.kadencewp.com/blog/how-to-use-google-fonts-locally-in-wordpress-with-kadenceOther quick suggestions:
– Avoid overusing animations or heavy background videos unless essential.
– Use image lazy loading and consider using WebP format.
– Keep Autoptimize and LiteSpeed Cache properly configured to prevent conflicts or redundant optimizations.I hope this helps.
Regards,
EzeIn forum: Kadence ThemeI have contacted my host and they updated to the recommend PHP settings for Kadence Theme. Same problem with no access to my custom pattern library.
When I try to add the library again then I just get this message: No Connection data available
Cleared the cache. Nothing changed since Tuesday when I accessed it last so I do not understand what has happened!
June 17, 2025 at 7:27 am #294045Hi Kadence Community,
I’m currently building and optimizing a site using the Kadence Theme + Kadence Blocks, and I’m really impressed with how flexible and lightweight it is. That said, I’m still seeing some performance issues on mobile, and PageSpeed scores could be better — especially since I’m aiming for fast user experience.
The site in question is: *Login to see link
It offers free online calculation tools, so speed and clarity are very important for usability. My setup:
– Kadence Theme (latest) + Kadence Blocks Pro
– Hosting on LiteSpeed (with LiteSpeed Cache plugin)
– Using Autoptimize and basic image compression
– No heavy plugins, but several blocks with dynamic contentQuestions:
– What are your best Kadence-specific optimization tips?
– Any blocks, scripts, or animations I should avoid or replace?
– How do you manage Google Fonts, preload settings, and image delivery in Kadence?
– Are there known plugin combinations or settings that improve loading time without hurting the design?I’d really appreciate insights or examples from others who’ve optimized Kadence-powered sites. Thanks in advance for your help!

June 16, 2025 at 1:39 am #294029Hi @kyd,
Glad you’re trying out Kadence! If disabling the page title isn’t working through the page settings:
-> Make sure you’re using the Kadence Page Settings (usually in the right sidebar of the editor).
-> Sometimes the title is part of the template—try switching to the “Blank” or “Landing” template under Page Attributes.
-> Also double-check if a page builder or block (like a Heading block) is manually showing a title.Clearing the cache was a good step—also try refreshing with Ctrl+Shift+R just in case. Let us know if it’s still stuck!

In forum: Membership ForumsJune 12, 2025 at 8:57 am #293998Hi Chrilles,
Thanks for writing in.
From the screenshots you shared, the paragraphs appear to be the same. However, the one on the frontend does seem to use a slightly larger font size.
To confirm if there’s a real difference in font family or size, you can inspect the paragraphs using your browser’s developer tools. This article explains how to do that:
https://www.kadencewp.com/blog/chrome-inspect-tool/If the styles appear identical but still look different visually, we recommend clearing all caches on your website and checking again.
We’d also be happy to take a closer look. If you’d like further assistance, please open a ticket using one of the following support pages and include temporary admin access:

ChitoIn forum: Pinnacle ThemeJune 11, 2025 at 2:22 am #293986Hi everyone – I just updated my site to Pinnacle 1.4.2, and noticed a couple of layout issues that popped up unexpectedly:
1. Header logo shifts when scrolling
On desktop, my logo starts centered above the navigation as usual. But after scrolling down, the logo shifts left and overlaps the menu items. I haven’t made any custom CSS related to header or nav. I’m using the built‑in transparent header plus sticky header settings.2. Mobile menu overlapping content
On mobile, when I click the hamburger menu, it opens but part of the menu slides under the header bar — making the top-level links hard to read or tap. I didn’t have this issue before upgrading. What I’ve Tried So Far
Disabled all caching/minification plugins (LiteSpeed + Autoptimize): no changeSwitched to default logo (PNG → SVG) → problem still appears
Cleared browser & site cache, tested incognito → same behavior
Could this be a known glitch in ~1.4?
(After updating, I saw threads about Pinnacle slider issues and full-width content problems in older versions — see here)What I’m hoping for:
If anyone has solved a similar “logo shifts on sticky” or “mobile menu underlap” issue recently, I’d love to hear your fix. I’m happy to provide screenshots, live site access, or even a child-theme CSS snippet. Thanks in advance for any insights!

June 9, 2025 at 4:55 am #293972Hi there,
Thanks for the screenshot.
I checked your website but didn’t see this -> https://share.zight.com/4guvLZQ9
If it’s missing or pointing to an invalid file, Google won’t recognize it.
Kindly upload the Site Icon in Appearance > Customize > Site Identity. See screenshot: https://share.zight.com/7Kulwqej
The Site Icon should be square and at least 512 by 512 pixels, as recommended by Google.
If you’d already uploaded one but it’s not reflecting when you inspect the page, kindly clear all the caches on your website and server.
Please let me know how it goes.

ChitoJune 7, 2025 at 7:42 am #293963Hi Kadence team,
I’m experiencing an issue related to the interaction between the transparent header and the sticky header. Here’s my settings:
Sticky Header:
– Logo: image-1.svg
– Background color: #ffffff
– Sticky settings: “Entire header”, visible on scroll up
When the transparent header is disabled, the sticky header works perfectly as expected when scrolling up.
However, as soon as I enable the transparent header, configured as follows:Transparent Header:
– Different logo: image-2.svg
– Background color: #000000 with opacity set to 0.3
…the transparent header displays correctly on page load, but when I scroll down and then back up (to trigger the sticky header), it seems like the sticky header does not apply its own styles. Specifically:
– The logo remains the one from the transparent header (image-2.svg)
– The background remains semi-transparent black instead of switching to the white background defined for the sticky header
=> It appears that the transparent header styles are persisting, and overriding the sticky header settings, including the logo, background color, and possibly other elements like navigation link colors and hover states.I’ve:
Verified all customizer settings (Sticky Header and Transparent Header)
Cleared browser and site cache
Disabled all plugins for testingStill, the issue remains.
Is this a known issue or expected behavior? Shouldn’t the sticky header fully override the transparent header once it’s triggered? Thanks for your help!

June 3, 2025 at 9:35 pm #293924Hey Sophie,
I’m here to assist you.
Thanks for the link to your website.
I noticed an issue with how the font is declared in your CSS. It currently appears as:
font-family: 'var( --global-body-font-family', 'inherit )';This syntax is incorrect. However, when I checked your site using the no-cache URL (https://totallyfrank.com.au/resources/?nocache=1), the font is applied correctly with the following declaration:
font-family: var(--global-body-font-family, inherit); It seems the cached version may be serving outdated or incorrect CSS.
Here’s a video for reference:
https://share.zight.com/yAuRzJDKTo resolve the issue, please utilize all the clearing options in WP Rocket or any other optimization plugin installed on your website to fully purge the cache.
I hope this helps!
Let me know if you need further assistance.

ChitoIn forum: Kadence BlocksMay 29, 2025 at 7:01 pm #293890Hi Teejay,
Thanks for your help and suggestions.
I have cleared every cache I can clear (multiple times LOL) and have tested the site with every plugin turned off except kadence blocks and kadence blocks pro, and using the out of the box kadence theme and the issue is still there. 🙁
Any other ideas on what could be going on?
I have the modal blocks set up with custom modal IDs so that clicking on the images would also open the modal block… I tried removing that in case that was the issue but I was still seeing the problem, but maybe I have them set up incorrectly? All help and ideas much appreciated!
Kate
In forum: Reply To:May 28, 2025 at 12:20 pm #293880Hey there,
Welcome to Kadence Support. We are here to help.
First off, I want to say your website looks great. I ran a PageSpeed Insights test on your website, and the scores came out all in the green. Here are the results. Are you still facing issues with the PageSpeed? In general, when using a Theme and Plugins, your PSI Scores will decrease as you add content. So in return, Caching plugins help further optimize websites to improve these things.
- When testing with your previous theme, there are still many factors to consider. For example, when using the Kadence Theme, you are using the Header, Footer, and Theme Contents. When using the previous theme, you may be using less functionality, which may result in higher page load times. Kadence is considered fast, and in many cases, it is considered faster than popular options, such as Elementor. For example, here is an opinion piece on this topic.
- I also noticed your page has a very large DOM. The main thing I noticed in your results is that the LCP is a bit high. I suggest going over this document to learn how you can help improve LCP.
You mentioned you are having Plugin Conflicts with Caching plugins. When using a Caching plugin, there are many configuration combinations available. Each website is unique, so each configuration is also unique. Whenever styles break from Caching Plugins, you can often disable the related Cache Setting, or you can exclude the files involved from that specific form of Caching. We have a document that goes over identifying and excluding files for when these things occur. You can view it here. If you have a specific broken style you need help identifying, I’d be happy to assist. Just provide a screenshot and link to the page in question, and I can see if I can assist with excluding the file involved.
Mobile Responsiveness: Since you are using a Cache Plugin, I would suggest fully clearing all of your caches. This includes your Mobile Browser Cache and your Website Cache. We have a guide on this here. There is a high chance that if you made responsive changes in the Theme or Blocks while having Caching on, the cache may need to be cleared to show those changes. We often suggest designing your website before enabling Cache. Once the website is fully designed and ready to ship, you should enable and use Caching/Optimization features. This can help avoid cache-related conflicts.
- If the issue continues, consider sharing additional details on this issue. Which block are you experiencing this issue with, and which block setting? Can you also share a screenshot of your Block Settings involved? Thanks!
Header Builder Bugs: This is expected. When using a Cache Plugin, you will often need to clear your Caches after making changes. As mentioned above, this is why it is recommended to design your website without Caching initially enabled. If your website is already in production, I suggest consistently clearing your Cache after making changes. This includes changes to the Theme, Posts, Pages, or anywhere else that may change what is shown on the front end.I hope this helps.
