The Kadence Form and Form (Adv) Blocks both support logging form submissions via Database Entry. This is available only with Kadence Blocks Pro.
To use the Kadence Forms Database Entry, you must have the Kadence Blocks Pro plugin installed and activated on the website. You can click here to learn how to get started with Kadence Blocks Pro.
What is a Database Entry
Enabling the Database Entry feature allows you to log your form entries to your local WordPress database. This can be useful in case other actions fail, such as Email or sending to your subscriber list. Also, logged entries can be exported to a CSV (comma-separated values) file for use in a spreadsheet or other applications.
Both Kadence Forms and Kadence Forms (Adv) support database entries. Once you’ve created a form and enabled the Database Entry option, it will begin saving submissions.
(Note: this feature must be enabled individually for each form you want to log entries from.)
Adding Database Entry to a Kadence Form
Get started by adding a Form Block to a page or editing an existing form.
Once your form has been created, you’ll need to enable the Database Entry action.
- In the form settings, click on the Actions After Submit section.
- Scroll down and check Database Entry

After adding the Database Entry action, a new Entry Settings section will appear.
- Form Name – used to identify the form while exporting entries.
- Save User IP Address – logs the user’s IP address.
- Save User Device – logs the user’s browser and operating system.
Note: both IP Address and User Device logging are enabled by default. For privacy reasons, you may want to turn them off.

Adding Database Entry to a Kadence Form (Adv)

Once your form has been created, you’ll need to enable the Database Entry action.

- Search for and add a Database Entry to any existing actions.

Viewing Form Database Entries
Once your Database Entry action has been added and your form begins receiving submissions, you can view those entries in WP Admin. To do so, go to Kadence → Form Entries. Here you’ll find all of the entries for various forms that have logging enabled.
To view the entries for a single form, click the Filter By Form dropdown and select the form.
To export your form entries, click the Export CSV button. It is recommended to export a single form by first using the Filter by Form dropdown.
Under Actions, you can View the details of the entry or move the entry to the Trash. Entries in the trash remain until the trash is emptied and will not be included in any exports.

Database Entry Detail
After clicking View on a database entry, you will see a record that looks something like this:
