The Kadence Form and Form (Adv) Blocks both support adding an Auto Respond Email. This feature is only available with Kadence Blocks Pro.

What is an Auto Respond Email
When enabled, an automatic email is sent whenever a form entry is submitted. This could be useful for many reasons such as letting a visitor know you’ve receive their message, or perhaps informing them you’re away on vacation, or even alerting a third-party that a message has been submitted.
Both Kadence Forms and Kadence Forms (Adv) support Auto Respond Emails. Once your form has been created and you’ve enabled the Auto Respond Emails action, the Auto Respond Email Settings configuration is identical.

Get started by adding a Form Block to a page.
Once your form has been created, you’ll need to enable the Auto Respond Email action.
- In the form settings, click on the Actions After Submit section.
- Scroll down and check the Auto Respond Email option.

Creating a Kadence Form (Adv)
Get started by adding a Form (Adv) Block to a page.
Once your form has been created, you’ll need to enable the Auto Respond Email action.
- In the Form (Adv) Block Settings -> General Tab, click on the Submit Actions section.
- From the dropdown, select the Auto Respond Email setting.

Configure Your Auto Respond Email
After enabling Auto Respond Email for either the Kadence Form or Kadence Form (Adv), you will now see a new Auto Respond Email Settings section. This section is identical for both form blocks.
Email Subject: The subject of your auto-response email.
Email Message: The content of your auto-response email.
From Email: The from email address.
From Name: The from name.
Reply To: If you prefer replies, go to a different email address, enter it here. Otherwise, leave this blank.
Cc: Enter an email address to send a copy of the email to (optional).
Bcc: Enter an email address to send a blind copy to (optional).
Send as HTML email? When enabled, the email will be sent in HTML format. Disable this option to send a plain text message.
Override Email to Address: optionally add an email address to send the auto response to. This could be useful to send an alert to a third-party without sending the actual form details. Leave this blank to default to the sender’s email address.
When you’re done, be sure to save your changes.

Testing Your Auto Respond Email
To test your auto-responding email, submit an entry for your form using an accessible email address. Then check your inbox to find the auto-response email.
